We had an incredible experience in the Olive Tree bar Cafe. The owner made the most spectacular cocktails. We had Mai Tai and Expresso martinis. We have had many in the past, but no cocktails will ever surpass this level of excellence. In addition, we were served scrummy snacks savoury n sweet. Always appropriately timed with what served best. The music had an awesome nostalgia of 90’s jazz and a timeless folk. This is an absolute hidden gem of history, taste and genius tastes combined.

I wrote the review about the visiting the pub on the 11 February about disabled access or lack of it
They totally ignored it.
Today I got a email promoting the Olive restaurant

The Olive Tree, Fakenham

I recently witnessed one of the most unprofessional displays of service I’ve ever seen at this bistro. Three women came in, ordered drinks, and politely asked if food was available. A staff member told them it was Paella night (£10 per order) and took their order from the menu. Later, one of the owners came over and told them they couldn’t have food because they hadn’t booked a table and were “walk-ins.” The women explained that a staff member had already taken their order, but this was completely denied. They decided to finish their drinks outside to avoid conflict. As they were leaving, another customer made a comment about the food being “shit”. This was overheard by a staff member, and instead of handling it professionally, that customer was thrown out — and shockingly, the three women were also told to leave, despite having done nothing wrong. From where I sat, the whole thing was embarrassing to watch. The staff seemed disorganised, rude, and quick to escalate a situation rather than manage it properly. If this is how they treat paying customers, I would strongly suggest spending your money elsewhere.

they Never pay you on time,
managers are not doing their job properly..
if you don't pay your staff on time how can you expect anything from them.....
Always complaining never see the good side...
Creating problems when there is no problem...
Honestly I regret working for them....

We went to Olive Tree, High Wycombe to celebrate my husband’s birthday dinner and initially had a great experience. The starter was absolutely delicious, and everything seemed to be going well. However, things took a drastic turn when the main course was served.

To our shock, my daughter spotted a green worm in the salad that was used as a topping on the main dish. Not wanting to create a scene, we discreetly called a staff member over to inform her of the issue. While we were trying to show her the worm, she appeared to ignore it, quickly took the plate to the kitchen, and returned within a minute with another plate. This raised doubts for us as to whether they simply replaced the salad topping or prepared an entirely new dish. She claimed they found nothing wrong and offered no apologies.

The lack of acknowledgment or concern from their side was extremely disappointing. While we tried to eat from the other plates, the experience was ruined. We left the restaurant immediately, feeling let down and uneasy.

We went with high expectations but left deeply disappointed. This experience has ensured that I will not be returning to Olive Tree in the future. If this is how they treat customers, I’m unsure how they maintain their standards.

Possible one of the most trying meal we have be out for
In a long time.
Sat down half an hour later are drinks orders where taken drinks arrived 20 minutes after that sent two back not good.
Ordered appetiser one totally wrong.
That took another 20 minutes to be quiet honest the hole experience was not good.(main meal was just ok)
This was for my wife’s retirement 40 years.who had worked in the same street as the olive tree .
Feel very disappointed in the way we where treated.
Over all we will not be going back

Great restaurant/pub. Post visiting the Thursford Xmas Spectacular we were equally pleased with the food and drink . A great choice of homemade food on the menu, the day special “ Fish pie “ was wonderful as was the Chicken Souvlaki on the menu. A great end to a lovely day . Would definitely visit again

I visited The Olive Tree in Lytham today with my husband and granddaughter’s.
The service was excellent, staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the food being offered on the menu.
Overall we had a lovely time however the Roast dinner could have been a bit warmer.

Just wanted to say, I had the most fantastic afternoon/evening with two of my best friends, we enjoyed everything about the olive tree, the food was absolutely delicious and the pub is beautiful relaxing atmosphere, and the staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Can’t wait to go again and sample more of the menu home cook fresh food. 👍🏻😊

Our waitress at The Olive Tree Restaurant In Milton Keynes (Name was Marca) was very friendly and gave really good opinions and information about the menus, for mains & drinks etc, She had knowledge of all the food options we asked about also. She was so tending and welcoming to me & my wife. ABSOLUTE AMAZING SERVICE***

Had a lovely evening, enjoyed a well made strawberry Dakari and a fresh bowl of Penne Pasta with just the right amount of heat to take me home , with extra cheese. Host was friendly environment clean, lovely and perfect 🥰. Yes to returning

We had Sunday lunch today and the beef was amazing! The whole meal was excellent, the ambience was great and the staff were impeccable. Altogether a fantastic, reasonably priced, meal. Best for a long time.

As a motel and restaurnt manager was not impressed. Taken to a table when we walked in. Then after 15min. we walked out as we watched the staff clearing tables and talking to each other. Looked like about 8 tables being used so not what i would call bussy.
Would not go back.

The server Denisa was absolutely amazing once again! She has been so so attentive and you can really tell she is a hard worker and takes pride in her work! The restaurant is so so lucky to have her as a worker! Apart from that, the food was a lot better than I remembered and the calamari was one of the dishes that surprised me! It was so juicy and not rubbery unlike the others I’ve had! The quality of the food was amazing! The only downside was the rice as it felt quite hard. But apart from that, I will definitely return again! I’ve recommended this place to many of people I know as the vibes, the food, waitresses and everything else was amazing.

Patatas bravas should have been siracha chilli, £7 for one diced potato in very bland sauce.
Lasagne burnt on the top
£7 for chicken wings roasted in garlic no flavour, shsred with an appreciative dog.
I large wine and a pint of lager £40.00 all in, rather a lot.
Tried it and won't be going back.
Lovely set up and dog friendly needs a new menu.

Great menu and we chose a Greek based meal but wee very tempted by the Tapas

Absolutely love The Olive Tree Bistro in New Brighton, cozy, friendly, beautiful surroundings, exceptional food with extensive menu and lovely owners and staff who always give a fantastic service.

Great food, great atmosphere and excellent staff, our waitress, Martyna was brilliant. Thanks for a great evening.

We have become regulars at the Olive Tree, we try to go once a week, the chilli sauce and bread they serve before your starters is amazing, I have now taken to asking for some of the chilli sauce to take away with me as I can’t get enough of it!
My husband is a fussy eater and has never sent a plate back here, his favourite is the Adana kebabs.
The staff are amazing and service here is friendly and efficient, always smiling, we can highly recommend this restaurant.
