My third camino trip with The Natural Adventure
I completed my third Camino trip (Burgos to León) with The Natural Adventure, and certainly, it will not be the last.
Everything went smoothly from submitting the booking until the end of the trip.
I can not emphasise enough how pleased I am with their services and their attention.
I look forward to booking again my next length of the Camino Francés.
We had a great trip cycling in Menorca
We had a great trip cycling in Menorca. The tour was very well-organised and all the information was helpful. The accommodation was also excellent. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would recommend TNA to everyone.
Fantastic tour
Fantastic tour. We walked the Camino Primitivo back in September and had a great time, the company were flexible with our request to shorten the trip and communicated well throughout. Next year we’ll be booking the rest of the Camino.
Camino Francés: Burgos to León
We had a wonderful time continuing our Camino journey.
Once again The Natural Adventure arranged a fantastic holiday. The mixed accommodations was great, luggage transfers were very efficient, we were able to track our bags with our air tag, and most of the days luggage was at the next accommodation by 11,00.
Information received was more than enough.
We look forward to continue next year till we reach Santiago de Compostela.
No value add - there are better options
My experience booking with Natural Adventure was very poor. They did not carefully review information that I provided (originally booked the wrong dates) for 5-day trip to Morocco. I also inquired about potential ad-ons to my trip and they were extremely slow in responding (I finally booked with another company for this portion). When I pressed these issues, the team members were rude and treated me like I was a burden to them rather than an important customer. Finally, I was injured on the trip and when the local guide contacted Natural Adventure about making an adjustment to my itinerary, the Natural Adventure representative responded dismissively “no, that is what trip insurance is for” ….I understood the policy, but the rudeness was simply unnecessary especially in light of my medical situation. The only good thing about working with Natural Adventure was that they did partner with an excellent local guide Active Treks). My recommendation-go straight to the local company, Natural Adventure added costs, complications, rudeness and added little value.

Algarve walking
We went on a holiday to Portugal - Walking in the Algarve - with high hopes when we read the reviews on this company. We were more than disappointed to the point that we made a formal complaint requesting compensation. One hotel had cockroaches, mal-functioning bathroom and terrible buffet food. Another hotel that we stayed in for our last night had a plywood boarded up window attached with parcel tape and mouldy bathroom walls. The company claimed that we would experience warm Portuguese hospitality but in the two of the hotels staff were rude and unhelpful. “I’ll send the housekeeper to kill the cockroaches!” was the extent of the sympathy that we received about our reasonable complaint.
The walking plan on two of the days fell short of expectation - a two hour walk on one day, stretched to 3 hours, left us waiting for a pick up in a small town with no visible attractions.
Their web site listed a pick up from a point that avoided a 5km walk along a tarmac cycle path (well used) beside a busy road. However, despite confirming this twice, the taxi driver still went to the wrong end of the cycle track.
We have been offered money off a future holiday but such was our experience that we cannot risk more disappointment. The company don’t accept responsibility for any of the shortcomings caused by their agents in Portugal.
In short, accommodation, trip logistics and value for money fell well below expectations.
We are very experienced walkers both in UK and overseas. We have used many different companies to route plan and we have never had such a disappointing experience like this.

Porto to Santiago central route experience.
We did the Porto to Santiago central route with the company. The organisation and information was really good and our accommodation, pre booked, was of a very high standard in all cases. The owners and staff at the locations were so very pleasant and helpful. The experience was wonderful and I would recommend the company without reservation.
3rd trip being planned
Been on Adventures and booking our third. Hannah and Bethan super helpful. Can’t wait until Easter 25 for our next one. Thank you
Jotunheimnen Mountains hike
Good Coms. Can do attitude. The hike in Norways Jotunheimen mountains was spectacular with great accommodation and amazing food.
Self guided hiking on the Via Alpina: Day 1. Mürren - Pochtenalp Day/2. Pochtenalp to Blüemlisalp Day/3. Blüemlisalp - Kandersteg
Even though this three day hike through a section of the Via Alpina lead us through most beautiful alpine landscapes we felt we were ill advised with a too strenuous and demanding itinerary in very steep terrain with 6-8 hour long hikes each day. In hindsight we realized that the itinerary sent to us by The Natural Adventure lacked a comprehensive description of the distance, time and the level of difficulty of our daily hikes. Had we known these details, we would have broken our trip down into shorter hikes and would have equipped ourselves with better hiking shoes and two hiking sticks instead of only one. On the first day I ended up straining my knee at the end of the 14 mile hike and wasn’t able to continue the remaining hikes. It seemed strange that two weeks before our departure Eurotrek took over all the logistics of our trip. They sent us an email with pre departure info, navigation and emergency contacts. Their info also didn’t offer much detail on the daily hikes and the maps were fairly confusing and weren’t tailored to our start and endpoints.

No hassle Hire bike exchange !
We contacted Connor to make a change to our bike hire, simple request for us however it involved Connor in a fair bit of communication with his colleagues. A refund also made without any discussion on finance.
Impressive and excellent customer service.
Thank you 🙏
The Beara Way
In May we made the best hiking trip ever in Ireland. We hiked the Beara Way in 8 days and its been absolutely the best and most beautiful hike we have ever done! The Natural Adventure team thought along with all our wishes, they were easy to reach and applied quickly to all our questions. They set us up with all the information needed, no stress there. We had detailed day to day information, a good map and tips for where to eat and get groceries. They selected a nice variety of accomodation.
The route was well signposted, at some places the route was different to the map but we were instructed well to follow the sign posts. The sceneries were absolutely stunning; it was desolate, rough and magical. We had lots of ocean views, bogs, sheep, hills and little termac roads. We also went to Beara island and we had a day trip to Dursey Island, both worth a days visit. The hosts were all very friendly and helpfull, our lugage transfer was taken care off and the meals at the guesthouses were home made cooked with a good variety for vegetarians like us.
The towns we passed were very colourfull and they had a good vibe. We couldnt be luckier with the weather. Its been dry and sunny for the week, that did made it even more magic!

Great set up of individual requirements
Dalila was very patient with all of our follow-up requests and came through accordingly. So far the preparation and set up of the trip has been very diligent and professional. Cant wait until the experience begins.
Walking tour of Cappadocia
We have just returned from a self-guided walking tour of Cappadocia. The pre-departure information was good, with detailed notes on the walks, transfers and accommodation. The walks were varied and interesting and we were surprised how few people we met! The trails were not always easy to follow, the difficulty was underestimated, and I can only assume that the trails have not been checked for a while as the topography of some had changed. However, most instructions were good and we got to see the surrounding valleys in detail. The accommodation at both places was of a good standard and nice and quirky. Breakfasts were great, but lunches were a little unimaginative (cheese roll or cheese roll). Transfers were all on time, but we were a little uncertain on our final transfer to Nevsehir when we were dropped in a nearby town (Urgup) and told that a shuttle would be along. It did come, but we didn't know what or who we were looking for! Evening meals were good, but we did feel that, in Goreme, although the Anatolian Kitchen had good food, there were so many interesting restaurants, we would rather have not paid for our evening meal in advance and had the choice of where to go. On the whole we had a great time!
Requesting full holiday payment (£2K) just to investigate if there's availability...
I enquired about a holiday and got a good initial response, albeit saying those dates weren't available. I asked for alternative dates but my emails didn't get a response for quite a while and needed chasing. Eventually I was told those dates were 'looking tricky' but if I paid the full balance of the holiday (over £2K) they would see if it was possible. No way! The likes of Macs and Inntravel only ask for around £150 to confirm the details. Will be travelling with one of them instead.

TMB. This is a late review for our self…
This is a late review for our self guided trekking Tour Mont Blanc in comfort trip in June 2023. Our group consisted of three couples at various level of physical condition and hiking experiences, so I asked TNA agent to add extra days in the middle for break and pre-booked private shuttle to lodging on long trekking days. I used to prepare detailed itineraries and options for all my trip, so I was quite anxious for this group going on a new adventure in this new way the first with the worries of what could happen. About a week prior our departure, TNA sent over a detail package of information about the trekking as they promised and answered a few questions I had. It turned out all went as TNA had planned from the moment we arrived to the end of the trip. We had blast time experiencing TMB.

Really fantastic holidays
We had a wonderful walking holiday in Tuscany last summer with marvelous scenery and fantastic hotels. Hannah was truly excellent, extremely friendly, professional and helpful and willing to go many extra miles. Absolutely great in all respects.

Excellent website and even better…
Excellent website and even better customer service. Hannah had to juggle the accommodation plot to suite our needs for our dates. Fast, responsive and efficient service. If this is an indication of how the trip will go we on a winner!
Thank you Hannah.
