Terrible quality and even worse customer service! Stay away!!
Awful experience with returns/refunds.
I really love the way the Modist app looks and I was able to find cool products there, however my experience dealing with their customer support is far from satisfactory.
I ordered a pair of Malone Souliers shoes and Re/Done jeans on March 3rd. Shortly after placing my order, I was contacted by their customer service team letting me know that the shoes had slight tape marks on the soles, which I then decided was not that big of a deal.
Upon the receipt of the shoes, I discovered that the pair looked worn, and far from new! Everything, starting with the box and packaging to the appearance of the shoes looks bad. They had creases and different marks all over. The jeans were way too big at the waist so I decided to return the whole package. After a very slow back and forth with the customer support team I was finally able to get a return slip (which is not possible through their website for some reason) and had the package collected shortly afterward.
The return was delivered to them on March 23rd. After not hearing anything from them, I reached out and got a confirmation that the return was registered to the warehouse on March 28th. It's been over 3 weeks since they received my return and I still haven't gotten my refund or heard anything from them. I sent two additional emails enquiring about the status of my refund on April 6th and April 13th but didn't get any response. They say it takes 7-10 days for the refund to be reflected, but I still don't even know if it's been processed and cannot get anyone to respond to my emails.
The customer service is truly appalling - I never experienced such customer neglect in my life and I can only hope that I will get my money back at some point. My advice -- stay away!
