Staff lovely, food a letdown
We called in for a late lunch. Lovely refurb and friendly staff. We chose two of the sandwiches as they sounded premium (definitely premium price) The bread was dry and the fillings dry. Described as thick cut ham (no, was pre sliced thin and grisslely) no dijon mustard in it. The tuna mayo was really dry, mayo non existent apart from maybe a drizzle on the top possibly. I only managed half of a half and wrapped up the rest for the seagulls at home. We didn't have the heart to complain to the waitress as she was lovely. Luckily we weren't asked how our food was. At nearly £10 per sandwich I wish we'd just picked one up from the supermarket as it would have been nicer. Such a shame. A sandwich shouldn't be difficult to get right. Fresh bread, generous good quality fillings and you're there. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, felt ripped off 😢
