My Son took me to the Kempton Races on…
My Son took me to the Kempton Races on 27th Dec.
He purchased the premium ticket £32.
On arrival we asked at the main gate for direction to disabled parking and were told that today there was no concession disabled parking and there was a charge.
We offered yo pay but we're told that we would have to turn round and go to the nearby parking. Nearby was half a mile which using my walker frame was quite an ordeal.
When then entering by the main gate it was a real shock to see disabled parking a plenty.
Could it get worse you bet we took as directed by a steward the lift to the first floor and made our way to the stands.
No ramp and only the help of others could I climb the stairs yo get a seat were I sat for the duration.
Frankly the arrangements can only be described as dismally inadequate
