I got my order wrong. I emailed immediately. I got an immediate reply. It said I would have to go through with my order and then return it at a cost to me of more than £7.I was told that I should have seen the warning on the site. If The Idle Man have absolutely no way of correcting an order they should put up a massive warning before the final confirmation click.

Fabulous service, next day delivery, great product. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I bought Veja trainers because they are fully recycled. The Veja packaging itself was the same; the Idle Man packaging involved a massive box and lots of plastic bubble wrap. Just worth considering I think.

Had an order from this place which was an issue due to them not being able to deliver in the time frame that I paid for. My review can be read on this below. After the correspondence with them and realising that it wasn’t going to get delivered when I paid for it I asked them to cancel it as when they would deliver it I would be on holiday. They said they couldn’t cancel it but DPD would return it to them as I wouldn’t be in to accept the parcel and I would get my refund. Low and behold they tried to deliver it twice and then left it at the local shop for me to have to go sort out after my holiday. So not returned to them and I had to sort out the return I returned the item with Collect+ I n the 20/1 and IdleMan received it on the 22/1. Today is the 27/1 so
I chased the refund as after 5 days I expected to have heard something. The reply I got was check back in 10 working days and we’ll see if we have received it. It’s not an acceptable level of service. In another 10 working days they would have had my return from the 22/01 until the 07/02. The level of contempt this place has for its customers is shocking. Please avoid and use a different website. There are plenty of more reputable ones about that don’t treat you this way. It definitely wasn’t worth saving a fiver for all this hassle.

I ordered a leather jacket after much searching for and ordering one else where which failed to meet my expectations I was quite dubious and by the biast reviews. When the jacket arrived I was truly gob smacked absolutely amazing top notch premium leather jacket at the fraction of the price Compared with other retail brands. I initially asked numerous questions via messenger which were met with prompt responses by a young lady by the name of Veronica. Thank you guys will be recommending and will be a returning.

Great pair of Timberland boots on offer, was a bit dubious at the price they were offered at compared to the rrp as I’ve never bought from this company before or heard of them for that matter. They arrived well packaged and courier was easy to track. Im absolutely over the moon with them and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. Only catch was my 10% first order code wouldn’t work but they were such a good saving in price I can’t complain at the price I paid anyway. I don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion it is more than merited for the 5 stars given. Thank you Idleman !

Very disappointed with my recent experience with The Idle man.

I ordered some shoes that were widely available in the Post-Christmas sales but slightly cheaper at The Idle Man. The first disappointment was that they wouldn't allow me to receive the 10% new customer discount on my order - no explanation was given but one can only assume it was because it was in the sale (who knows?!).

Six days after ordering I receive a text advising that my order has been refunded, followed some time later by an email saying the same and finally a little later still I get an email explaining that the item I ordered is out of stock with a lackluster apology.

It's honestly not all that difficult to link your website and stock to give an accurate account of the stock levels; most online retailers manage it just fine, and some sizes were shown as out of stock. Meanwhile the stock at every other retailer has all gone so my only choice for these shoes is to pay full price again. I've chosen not to do this; I'll also be choosing not to purchase from The Idle Man in future and recommend others learn from my mistake.
