Really frustrated and disappointed that…
Really frustrated and disappointed that having recently moved to the area - people were raving about this pub and the food. We booked for 6pm Sunday night online and even received an email confirming the booking. Turned up at 6pm that night excited for dinner and it was completely dark with no signs of life - all doors were locked and it was clearly not open! Tried calling and no answer, sent a WhatsApp and no response yet, commented in FB which was deleted and still no word of apology or explanation as to why. To top that they then sent me another email asking for feedback from my visit (probably automated but still). As was a Sunday night we didn't have time for any other option so no dinner for us and I was really looking forward to a good steak. It would have been really nice to have received an apology or even just an acknowledgement and explanation (appreciate there may have been extenuating circumstances but still even a sign in the door or FB or something would've helped) but no nothing as yet - was supposed to be put first visit and am sadly very disappointed. Would still like to try the food as heard very good but really need some contact first and some of freebie wouldn't go a miss for their mess up!! Would happily then revise my review but as yet I can't
