Anyone that has the Carbon X & uses it frequently knows that you can burn through your battery life quickly. Having the charging base gives you peace of mind knowing that you will never have to worry about conquering your goals with a messy beard!

Definitely needed for the Carbon X. Makes charging a lot easier. The only issue i have is with the one time sticky bottom. Because it is properly weighted, I think a rubber base is all that is needed. That way it can be moved around and not stuck down to a single spot.

The base works, but they should have made the bottom a gel base instead of a one-time sticky pad, makes it near impossible to have it function as a base without buying something else to get it to stick

Charging base would have been great, but the weak magnet used to hold the charger comes loose too easy. Would have been nice for the cord to actually plug into the base. I can only put the base in a few locations in my bathroom due to the magnet coming loose too easily
