I been working with my dedicated accountant Connor for quite a long time and I’m happy with that. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Overall The accountancy is ok of course there is still room for improvements.
I’m looking forward to working with them for the next coming years.

I have been using the accountancy group for 5 years after using a regular high street service. I wouldn't turn back. The costs are cheaper and having access to the Pandle accounting package with auto bank feeds makes it easy to reconcile. The mobile app I find very good although limited compared to to desktop version. In terms of staff, I have had various account managers and they all have been responsive and knowledgeable. This year my accounts were completed by Connor Simmons who was no exception.

Jamie McColl is very helpful and give me advise on how to manage the business and tax more efficiently.

Changed to using TAP last year and am delighted with the service. Jamie (McColl) is always available to respond to queries and I would have no hesitation recommending TAP to other small businesses.

James Black has made my stress levels so much better, quick to reply, good advice, helpful, and always goes the extra mile. I'm really happy that he has taken on my accounts, he's a credit to TAP, I look forward to dealing with him more as the business grows. He's helped me from standard accounts right through to my vat and mtd, a credit to to TAP.

AVOID AT ALL COST - YOU WON'T GET YOUR PRE-PAYMENT BACK - UNFAIR CONTRACT TERM - HIDDEN FEE INCREASES - TAKING ADVANTAGE ON SMALL BUSINESSES

Accountancy Partnership pre-charged us 18 months of fees which we were explicitly told covered all required fees for our annual accounts, payroll, etc and when we are ready to file our annual account they suddenly told us we have to pay £5000+ in addition to what we already pre-paid. And if we don't they refuse to refund the 18 months of fee we already paid. What they intend to charge us is triple the market rate. In the end we decided to go with a local accountant who only charge £1800 for the annual account service whereas they intend to charge us £6000+. Our accounts are fully organized and digital via QuickBooks, leaving no justification for such an exorbitant "extra" fee.

Their client experience staff just continue to repeat the empty clause in their contract where it says they refuse to refund even for work they did not complete. I have repeatedly informed her that putting an unfair clause into a terms and conditions document and having a client click "accept" does not make that clause legally binding or enforceable. Under UK contract law and established principles of fairness, a blanket "no refunds" clause that allows a firm to retain 1.5 years of advanced fees for a core service (the preparation and filing of annual accounts) that has not been, and will not be, delivered constitutes a total failure of consideration and unjust enrichment.

They completely ignore it and continue to take advantage and hope the fact that we as a business won't take any action against their terrible behaviour so they can keep the money without providing any service. But I'm not gonna let that happen.

I know there are many businesses who have experienced the same situation as us. This is honestly the first time I have ever encountered an unrighteous business like this. I urge we take action together to raise public awareness and prevent any future clients being taken advantage by them. We will be sharing our honest experience all over the internet. Extremely disappointed and do not recommend.

The moment you work with Accountancy Partnership you are doomed to pay a hefty price when you leave. They refuse to refund for services they have not provided.

Watch out for unfair contract terms, hidden clauses, additional price increases (no pre-notice) and being locked into upfront fees that they will refuse to refund if you object to their sudden price hikes. They refuse to refund for any pre-payment made even if they didn't carry the service.

I was a client of The Accountancy Partnership for around 4–5 years and, during that time, I also referred two separate new clients to them.

Unfortunately, my recent experience has been very disappointing. During my time with TAP, I raised what I felt were genuine and reasonable concerns about slow response times from my original accountant, a significant fee increase that I had not been notified about in advance, and the way a referral credit/invoice had been calculated.

Rather than feeling that my concerns were properly listened to or handled constructively, I felt dismissed and not valued at all as a client. After I questioned the invoice structure and asked for clarification, the firm informed me that they had reviewed my account and decided to resign as my accountant once my current Self-Assessment was completed.

As a long-standing client who had paid invoices historically and had recommended them to others, I found this response heavy-handed and upsetting.

In my view, this is a very poor way to treat a long-standing client. Clients should be allowed to question delays, unexplained fee increases and invoice calculations without feeling as though they are being penalised for speaking up.

The whole experience has left me feeling undervalued and I would not now recommend them....or would advise prospective clients not to ask questions.

Recently joined The accountancy partnership in a complete panic due to a massive error committed by my previous accountant. I was assigned to Andrew Turner who has been absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. I’m completely ignorant regarding accounts as a first time business owner, but Andrew guided me through it in a way I would understand and given how time sensitive my case was he acted with the greatest speed. I’m thrilled with the service I received and Andrew and wouldn’t use anyone else

Kieran McCann provided outstanding support in helping me file my corporation tax return within an extremely tight timeframe. The last-minute situation was entirely my own fault, but Kieran remained calm, professional, and incredibly responsive throughout the process.

Thanks to his efficiency and dedication, we managed to meet the deadline and avoid what would likely have been a fine. He was always responsible, supportive, and available whenever I needed guidance.

What I particularly appreciated was his ability to provide exactly the right amount of information in a very clear and straightforward manner. He made a stressful situation much easier to handle.
