I topped up to a wrong phone number Sanna was very patient and helpful. I managed to get a refund and topped up to the right number.

You must be joking, i never signed any agreement with TESCO on that term.
Needed to change my number to new,had expired credit on old number, then after changing over, to my amazement tesco reapplied back my credit .

Yes I have been with Tesco international for long time. Its a great experience as i sent an international credit in a wrong number yesterday. Catherine just refunded me the money. Its fantastic. I needed to dial an international number which uses 'options' like "Press 1 for English, Press 2 for French" etc. Having asked around, it appears that the Tesco Int'l Calling card is the only one that can satisfy that criteria.
Well, the cost is rather minimal so I bought a card to try.
It needs to work on an app, which shows all the dialling codes, and how much air time your current credit can have with any particular country. Brilliant! So no guess work or having to go blank while on an important phone call.
In between, I had a problem connecting and contacted Customer Service. Catherine was brilliant, very capable in detecting my problem and solved it really quickly.
Well, with such responsible Customer Service and an app that gives a clear picture of what I need to know, I don't see any reason why I need to seek elsewhere.

I have been using Tesco International daily for a number of years until today when it wouldnt load, on checking the app it said "This app wont work with your device"
No advance warning, nothing. I appreciate that technology moves on and sometimes it is necessary to end support for some devices but the lack of warning just shows what this company thinks of its customers.

Be very cautious about the Tesco International Calling App.
As per other negative review, I went to use the International Calling app and found that my credit had expired.
Nowhere on the main pages of Tesco International Calling website does Tesco state this fact or make it clear.
I had the app insatalled at the mobile counter in Tesco's Crediton store. They were pleased enough to take payment for my initial credit and install it on my phone, which appeared to be helpful at the time, but nobody explained that the credit was time sensitive and that it would vanish after a time period.
The first I knew was when I needed to use it and found that my credit had vanished.
Doubtlessly Tesco will claim that somewhere buried in T&Cs, this is revelaed, but this does not constitute adequate clarification of the' rip-off in waiting', prior to, or at the point of sale.
I have been with Tesco Mobile for years and for the future, I will now find it very hard to trust Tesco when they stoop to using such cheap rip-off tricks as this.

The reply from Tesco completely fails to address the point of my complaint (intentionally or otherwise).
The message was that the life of the credit purchased is NOT mentioned on the main web page (which I did check, to see how the app worked – and where Tesco makes no mention of 'credit-life') and it was NOT mentioned in store at the point of sale by the person who installed the app on my phone and took payment.
Your final suggestion is that I should have checked in the app on my phone, for an expiry date which I never knew existed!! The first time I even looked at the app on my phone was when I needed to make an international call, at which point, I agree that indeed I was able to see the 'use-by' date - because all my credit had vanished.

The app itself is fine and does what I want it to do. The 5 stars is for truly excellent customer service, following my complaint about functionality loss. Thank you Riaz! He talked me through the issues and could provide a good workaround for one. The other is a known bug which they are working on. I was not expecting such a great level of support. Well done Tesco app team!

I called to top up my account. The lovely Lady that attended to me, took her time to explain what was going on with my account. She gave me Alternative telephone number to use when next i want to topup if my app doesn't work for me.
She was very helpful. She reinstated my lost credit as well.
