The last 3 visits to Tesco store Lee Mill the shelves have been empty, and I mean empty, just empty boxes where the stock had been. The store seems to be very untidy because of this and there are more... See more

My local Tesco depot is about 100 yards…
My local Tesco depot is about 100 yards from my home. Over the past 3 months I have noticed huge increases in prices in particular brands which were the savers. it has become clear that since many of the customers are fighting a cost of living crisis they will naturally go to saver brands however its clear to me that Tesco are now targeting those brands which in one product I have noticed it increase by at least 20%. This by any other name is extortion and I am getting close to stop shopping at any Tesco store and we spend around 7 grand a year there.
Another bug bear is buying pre packed fruit, in every branch of Tesco I have been in, its clear that for every say six oranges, apples pears or whatever at least one will look like it's ready to go off. This is a con and effectively mis selling. I plan to contact trading standards to this end.
Poor store management and dismissive complaint handling
I had a very disappointing experience with Tesco Northampton Link Road Express and Tesco’s complaint handling afterwards. The issue involved the conduct of the store manager during an incident at the store. In my view, the manager’s behaviour was rude, dismissive and unprofessional. When I raised a formal complaint, I expected Tesco to properly review the matter, address the conduct concerns and provide a clear explanation. Instead, Tesco’s response mainly relied on the store’s manager own version of events. I provided an audio recording, but the complaint responses did not properly address the key points I raised about the manager’s verbal conduct and professionalism. When I asked for the complaint to be escalated to a senior complaints manager, area manager, regional manager or someone independent who had not already dealt with the case, Tesco refused. The response I received stated: "I’m unable to escalate this any further and I won’t be engaging any further regarding this". I found this extremely dismissive and unacceptable from Tesco’s Executive Office. A customer complaint involving alleged poor conduct by a store manager should not be closed down in this way especially when evidence has been provided and specific questions remain unanswered. Based on this experience, I am very disappointed with both the store manager’s conduct and Tesco’s complaint handling.

Bought Tesco meal deals along with some other groceries
Cooked the meal then opened the trifle and disappointed to find that Tesco have not only increased the price of the meal deal from £12 to £15 but have reduced the size of the trifle and probably all the puddings.
Typical Tesco it’s all about profit.
Inflated prices
Sorry Tesco, but putting up the price of bakery apple pies by 10% is just a no no and gets you a one star…
These pies have doubled in price in about 3 years….well above the inflation figures…
Tesco has to make money somewhere to inflate their vast profits!!
Morgan at Tesco Kingston in Milton Keynes my Hero of the week!
Morgan at Tesco Kingston in Milton Keynes is my hero of the week! In a menopause brain fog I left my banking card at the store. Morgan made sure I got it back and panic was averted. He went above and beyond and is a real ambassador for the store - thank you Morgan!
CEO complaint
3 out of the last 4 deliveries were not to standard.
2 of them, the gave me items which expired the SAME day! These were things like, milk, sausages etc
Then in rhe last delivery bleach leaked all over the food, my daughter was wearing her favourite tshirt from when she was a performer at Birmingham Hippodrome, guess what? Bleach all over the shirt (came off the food she was putting away) !!
Fuming I emailed the chief executive. I get a pathetic non helpful reply from he secretary or someone else. Not him as it was a woman.
Basically, I should have told the driver WHICH I DID! I showed him the leaking bleach... then by the time the second crate was emptied I heard a commotion in the kitchen to my daughter going mad about her shirt. So I told her to come here and show the driver!! He said absolutely NOTHING. he froze like a dear in headlights!
I told him I know it's not you fault but these shirts are limited edition and it was her dream to perform there since she was a nipper!
He told me to email a complain (which i did) they told me If I want a refund to take all the items covered in bleach back to the store) why the hell should I? 3 out of 4 failings!
They should come and collect it if they want to be funny!
Oh and I need to dig a receipt out for the tshirt (which i cannot find) or they won't refund that either.
Absolutely disgusting service.
I have used Tesco since I was 17 years old. Im 48 now and they can get stuffed, ill take my business elsewhere. If I were you, I wouldn't use them at all based on their lack of attention to detail and owning their mistakes and paying up for the hurt and inconvenience caused. Now imagine if that bleach got consumed?? Oh yes, things would be VERY different then eh Tesco?
Shocking.
Upgrade
Dropped in to Airdrie store to upgrade my phone sim. I'm not knowledgeable at all, so I was very pleased with the service I received from Kristie. She was extremely pleasant, patient and helpful! 5 stars Kristie!!

I wanted to share a big thank you to Simon at Tesco Chesterfield for his excellent help in-store today. He assisted me throughout my entire shopping trip and delivered truly fantastic service with a smile.
DISCRIMINATIVE TESCOs
Using online shopping for the first time, the items i wanted can only be purchased at the Superstorevin St Leonards.
Just had a major operation, so cannot drive or carry items. On bedrest for 6 weeks.
Items put in whoosh!!! Whatever that means (small stores) so they dont do items. The young man tried to be helpful, however advise i would have to wait for 2 hours to speak to a manager.
Thats if they even call. I need particular drink to take my medication.
Clearly the vulnerable and disabled are a low priority. I cannot drive due to my medication and cannot lift or carry heavy items. No duty of care. Was told make a bigger shop so that they can get more money. Disgusting! Happy for me to be without essential items for those housebound.
Update, missed call as it was witheld, my phone does not accept withold numbers. The onus was put on me. Despite my vulnerability, to change background or get someone to assist, despite advising no family live locally and neighbours unavailable.happy for me to have no food or drink. Disgusting. Happy to exploit the vulnerable.
I have tried to contact Tesco about…
I have tried to contact Tesco about this , but their systems dont facilitate complaints or direct communications about issues .
I tried to purchase 2 Tomorite growbags . Apart from being very heavy I later found they were soaking wet inside , the bags split at the ends before reaching the checkout making both un usable as growbags . I spoke about the problem at the checkout but was told it was a tomorite issue not Tescos . The bags are filled with a solid clod of compost which is almost impossible to use without considerable cultivation

TESCO WELLINGTON TELFORD
TESCO WELLINGTON TELFORD
WHAT A DISGRACE
Home delivery booked for 5pm-6pm today and had a notification saying shopping was next stop between 4.54pm and 5.24pm
6pm came and still no delivery.
Phoned the helpline (who may I add were brilliant each of the 3 men we spoke to!!) And the store called me back and made umpteen excuses, such as sickness, breaks etc. Multiple times tripping on their own lie. Offered us a delivery 8pm-9pm which was very much DECLINED. In the end my husband decided to go to store and collect our shopping! To my amazement when he got home HALF OF IT IS MISSING.
TESCO WELLINGTON what a POOR excuse of customer service and if you are going to get staff to lie about reasoning make sure they are believable (my brother is a delivery driver for another leading store so I know how it works!!!)
Our FIRST and DEFINITELY LAST time using tesco home delivery
Very unsatisfied customer!!!
I did my shopping by scan and shop
I did my shopping by scan and shop. On leaving it bleeped the out the store the wheel locked up so the security guard came to me said it would be the beef asked to look at my receipt, which when I took it out of my purse he snatched it and I did say I would report him and he just laughed. Then he could not fined the minced beef so I had to show him. Absolutely disgusting
Worthing (West Durrington superstore) Scruffy badly stocked hovel.
The Durrington Worthing superstore still a hovel with empty shelves, rubbish everywhere, and hoards of staff doing "home shopping" instead of dealing with the important issues as above. As ever we couldn't get everything we wanted, Bean sprouts for one and Cherries for another as an example despite being part of their advertising. Once you have done battle with the rubbish and home shoppers, empty shelves etc you get to checkout to find just a couple open with long queues, ( we choose not to use auto checkouts because they are unreliable and people obviously still have to prove they are not thieves on a regular basis that we object to. We fully support the long suffering but wonderful friendly checkout operatives. This is far from the first time we have complained about this place. We are both slightly disabled and elderly but because we don't have a blue badge or a child we have to walk great distances in the car park! ( is our money and custom not worth the same??) Yes we could go elsewhere but why should we travel further afield to shop? Looks like we will have to, to find a properly managed business that treats customers properly.
Tesco Canton Express a poor customer…
Tesco Canton Express a poor customer experience. Only use this store for the location. Staff seem to try and make it as difficult as possible for customers shopping to get to the shelves. Appreciate you have to stock the shelves but not sure why you are doing this at peak times.
Tesco what have you done to your fresh…
Tesco what have you done to your fresh chicken ? The chicken legs are scrawny, flavourless and smaller. They used to be plump and tasty but not any more. Same goes for the whole chickens. I used to tell everyone how good the chicken was but not any more.
I want to complain about the meal deal…
I want to complain about the meal deal last night dreadful but you try complaining to Tesco it's impossible you keep going round in circles until you give just what they want.
Wish I could give a 0
Wish I could give a 0. I ordered a home shop delivery last night the 14th of May 2026. All seemed good! I was charged fast enough of over 100 pounds.
Following morning. I received a message that my whole order had been CANCELLED! No reason as to why!
No alternative slots issued or even the following day for delivery. Nothing
Now I have to wait and wait days for my money back.
If they take your money within seconds then it must be paid back as fast!
Some people don’t have then the spare money to order again somewhere else
Also me and my Husband have disabilities and it’s incredibly difficult to get out. Yet again no disability respect from Tesco.
They are the worst company
