I applied several times for a job in Tesco store. With first application I been told "I don't have enough scottish school qualification" after 2 more application they try to call me but I missed the call and straight away my application was unsuccessful. From that moment when I apply on the day they post applications straight away shows me that application is expired and after few weeks they sending messages that I was unsuccessful. I have every skills to be store assistant. Also I been talking with some ladies working in shop already and they said that is because I'm not scottish and they usually not employ outsiders. Is just awful how they treat people with different nationality. I said to myself I will never apply for this job again.

I have applied for Tesco part time jobs.Have had 3 interviews in the last 10 days. 1st interview good but unsuccessful. Who knows why!
2nd Interview Tesco Express Haywards Heath west sussex. Manager said i am not interviewing you as i have to many applicants.
3. Interview Lewes with store manager last Friday James stated my interview was excellent.
Today was told not got job. What a surprise after dressing well and using the ☆ for examples.

I applied for a menial job at Tesco’s.

I had no intention of accepting the job even if they offered it to me, just wanted to see how the whole process operates.

I feel sorry for you poor people who actually need a job,seeing how you’re treated by this organisation.

Worked at the Baguley store as temp for Xmas no one talks to you if you are a temp I got admitted to hospital they never even asked for a sick cert they just terminated my contract they said tescos looks after their staff at interview I am glad they terminated my contract now poor place to work

I turned down an interview (for a role I didn't even apply for) and now, after getting through to interviews on every application, every application I now make is unsuccessful... I never knew a big company could be so butt hurt! Also they are illegally, recruiting part time and rejecting anyone that can't do regular overtime, just so they don't have to employe full time employees

I used there online portal it asks for skills and qualifications etc I have over 25 years in customer service with one employer been on several courses gained nvqs in customer service I had everything for the role and more I clicked apply and within one minute it said unsuccessful ???? no human could of read my application I emailed asking for feedback and got no reply awful system
