I bought 6 months ago from the seller Kövr on BackMarket (which is actually the company TEQCYCLE FRANCE) an Iphone 12 Pro Max. Upon receipt, the smartphone is broken with a crack in the glass and a password that makes it unusable. I send it back but the seller refuses to repair it because I opened my package 3 days after receipt. BackMarket takes the defense of its seller during the mediation and I therefore see myself forced to invoke my right of withdrawal. The seller refuses to respect my right. Once again BackMarket takes the defense of its seller. A registered letter of formal notice later, the seller finally agrees to repair it and send it back to me. Barely 4 months later the phone refuses to charge. I return the device to the seller, knowing that this type of problem is covered by the contractual guarantee. He answers me 4 days later that it does not come under the guarantee because the phone would have suffered a shock. Except I sent the phone for a battery connection problem because it turned on perfectly before discharging. Finally I reenter a mediator, no response from BM. I therefore decided to sue the seller because to date he has not responded to my request for reimbursement in the name of the guarantee for hidden defects. It was my first experience with reconditioned phones, and I think my last thanks to Teqcycle. Conclusion: I just lost money and won problems.

if you want to lost money by sell your phone at this recycler , go away from him !

Well organized and transparent. I liked it.

The value of the used device is NOT determined according to its real condition, but on how much worth it is on the second hand retail market.

My advice was originally estimated to 285.- EUR, two days later the market value dropped to 95,- so I got just 190,- EUR with ridiculous comments about scratches on the display and on the back.

Two weeks earlier I sold the exact same device used by my wife for 285,- in worst condition...
