Lousy operation
TW used to be an incomparable internet store. Someone must have bought the company and turned into a lousy incompetent store. If you order any rackets and ask to string, it will take 15 days or more to get it. They are in CA and Atlanta. A bunch of lazy incompetent workers is ruining the company. It's not a computer chip company. It's a tennis equipment company! How incompetent you can be to take 15 days or more to get a lousy tennis racket when the company operates in the US? If you call and ask why, they talk like a recording - delay or issues. They should hire smarter more efficient managers and supervisors to run the company more efficiently!

This used to be an online store with excellent customer service.
Sadly, due to new financial owners, the quality has dropped to 1 star.
Any calls to either GA or CA are quickly disconnected.
They will gladly sell you anything — deal with this company at your own risk.
No service, extremely slow shipping
Don’t answer the phone. Site promises quick shipping but it’s been 2.5 weeks and still hasn’t shipped. Finally got through to someone who assured me it’d ship out 5 days ago but still no word. They used to be good but are now trash. Use someone else
Will definitely use them again
This was my first purchase from their online store. The Head racquets, bags, and accessories were just as described. The description and informational videos were really helpful. I just got back into playing so I I really did my research and I kept going back to the TW site. Eventually I made my purchase with them. Really glad I did, and for a number of reasons, including super fast shipping without any cost, and clear return guidelines if necessary. I haven’t needed to return anything thankfully but I read good reviews from others on this subject, including warranties. Something else that I look for in my purchases is transparency for inventory and ETA on order delivery, and Tennis Warehouse did a fabulous job. Top notch tennis retailer and I’ll definitely be using them again.
Horrible communication and customer…
Horrible communication and customer service. They don't answer their phone. Order from another site, I've been waiting for 2 backorder items.
Awful communication & customer service!
Assured me an item was in stock. Then, a few days later, got an email saying it was out of stock--with no mention of a refund. When I called, I had to wait 20 minutes to speak to someone why told me I'd be getting a refund. Finally, their website is confusing such that it caused me to think my first order was invalid so that I ordered the same thing twice and had to cancel the first order. Never again!
Cannot speak to a person on phone
Cannot speak to a person on phone. Cannot have live chat. Rarely respond to emails. Incredibly slow shipping on strung racquets. Lost my account information twice.
TO AVOID
Would definitively not recommend that web site as the orders seem to be subject to taxes or not depending on your luck .
April 2022 an order of 270 € - no import duties or UK VAT
May 2022 an order of 241€ - had to pay over 90 £ of duties and taxes.
Not manageable for a customer
Not tennis experts - I do not recommend TW
I bought a racquet from TW based on their expert recommendation for the best arm-friendly racquet. Unfortunately, their expert recommended a not-so-arm-friendly racquet and failed to take into consideration the string pattern. After playing with the racquet a couple of times, my arm started hurting. So, I returned the racquet to TW but, they only gave me back a 65% instore credit for the racquet that I paid over $250 for and paid for True gut strings. So, I basically waster over $150 based on their expert recommendation. I would not recommend TW to anyone needing expert advice or good customer service.
Lazy Customer Service Reps
Tennis Warehouse has the worst customer service. I sent an email regarding an order I placed. A customer service representative (I use that term lightly) emailed me with an attachment I couldn't open,no explanation as to what the attachment was and no introduction. That's beyond lazy. I will not order from Tennis Warehouse again.
Terrible customer service would not…
Terrible customer service would not stand behind a tennis bag that handle handles fraying after only a few uses. Said my 30 days was up because I bought as Christmas present??? What good tennis bag frays that quickly?? Obviously not seen well but their only offer was 10% off a new bag. Really???
Good deal and easy check out process
My tennis instructor told me about this website and I was a bit skeptical at first due to the lower rating on Trustpilot. But I bought two clothing items on October 28, received confirmation on the 29th, and items were delivered in three business days. The items were as described and the process was smooth and website was easy to navigate. Wish there were more sizing information but the items I got fit perfectly.
No more service quality
I have been using this website to purchase tennis gears for years. They used to be good. However, they are loosing their service quality recently. I ordered a new strung recquet. It took 13 days to arrive. And even worse, I only played 30 minutes, then the string broke from one of the knots. Based on my experience, it's a stringing quality issue. They are not responsive for email either.
Tennis Warehouse promotes “Cancel Culture”
Tennis Warehouse has a Discussion Forum where the Moderators are beyond obnoxious and promote a “cancel” culture mindset. They simply erase posts on ANYTHING not deemed “politically correct”. They give people no information and act like authoritarian Nazis. Lost all respect for this company.
Great Experience - Prompt Delivery
I was looking to purchase a Wilson PS RF 97. After searching racquets online, I landed on TW's site. The site was easy to navigate and I found my racquet in L5 grip size. Following purchase on 6/18/2021, I noticed terrible reviews about the TW site. After reading numerous terrible site reviews, I began to doubt my purchase, however I decided to give TW a chance. I promptly received several emails confirming my order, including tracking information and updates. I received my racquet 6/21/2021. The racquet was expertly packaged and I was entirely pleased with the experience. I intend to shop TW in the future. Thanks Tennis Warehouse!
I ordered 2 cases of tennis balls
I ordered. First they don’t take Amex which I find annoying. Then after I order a $200 order I get an email that orders from me need to be paid by wire transfer. Never heard of such a weird request. I called. Told it was settled. One case of balls shipped. The other was back ordered. A week later I get an email that billing zip doesn’t match credit card. I call again as it does. They keep saying this extra security is needed bc my order is so large (it’s only $200). I then say how come billing was fine on first half of order. No good reason. So I then ask where first half is as I’ve been charged for a week. It never shipped. I cancelled order. Only so much shady a person can take.
Best big box tennis retailer out there!
This is truly the best place out there to buy any tennis equipment! They've been incredibly helpful when I have questions and the customer service has been incredible any time I've needed it. Highly recommend for your tennis needs!
Great people, depth of information, product selection A++
Ordered from them twice, no issues at all.
They provide fantastic information to help find the best products, they have lots of knowledge, great product selection, and also stand behind their products too.
Where Head racquets are made today?
I bought many Head racquets for many years and "before" all made in Austria. Recently, I order couple difference model of Head racquets and I quite disappointment that all made in "China". I don't you about you all but I tried "made n China" racquets and feel so much difference than made m Austria. I returned them all.
Unfortunately, Tennis Warehouse did not disclose where the racquets made now. So, be ware.
