Waste of Time – No Transparency in Recruitment

I am extremely frustrated with my experience applying to Telus Digital.

I applied for the “Media Search Analyst – Turkish (TR)” role and successfully completed multiple assessment stages. As a native Turkish speaker with strong overall competency relevant to the role, I fully meet the requirements. Despite this, and despite passing the tests, I received yet another generic rejection with zero explanation.

This is not a one-time issue — it has happened repeatedly. Candidates are expected to invest significant time and effort, yet the company provides no transparency, no feedback, and no accountability in return.

Sending automated rejection emails without any justification after making applicants go through lengthy assessments is simply disrespectful. It strongly suggests that the evaluation process is inconsistent or not taken seriously.

If you expect people to dedicate hours to your system, you should at least offer basic transparency. Right now, this process feels like a complete waste of time.

I would not recommend Telus Digital to anyone expecting a fair or transparent hiring experience.

I am writing to urgently report…

I am writing to urgently report unethical treatment I experienced while participating in a research study. I responded to an advertisement on Indeed for a study and was invited to participate. Upon arrival, I was subjected to the application of a toxic paint on my entire body, despite being allergic to it. This was done without my explicit consent or my knowledge that any paint would be used.

Moreover, I was surprised to find myself paraded naked in front of everyone for two hours while being photographed in different poses, which was not mentioned in any study details.

Additionally, despite being present for four hours, I was only paid for one and a half hours of participation.
