One of Tefal’s best-selling pan sets started falling apart in under a year — the base came off. When I contacted support, they effectively suggested I buy a new set, which is unacceptable. For a product at this price level, both the quality and after-sales service are very disappointing. Avoid.
Your plug is a cheap.... two prog the same size most plugs don't support this plug type, plug is so lose it keeps coming out of sockets, can't use extension cord b I need a intention cord because the iron cord is so short, because the prongs are the same size it's not going to fit most of our Canadian sockets ..cheap cord don't buy irons need a proper good cord period...
I purchased the £150 Ingenio Simplicity 22-Piece set expecting premium quality. Instead, I experienced a catastrophic design failure during the very first use.
The Ingenio handle mechanism physically stripped the non-stick coating from the rim of the pans. This is not a cosmetic issue; it is a safety hazard, as fragments of the coating can easily enter the food being prepared.
I have documented this structural defect. Despite providing clear photographic evidence, Tefal’s response (Case 08089108) was to issue a generic questionnaire and attempt to blame "maintenance" for a product that had been out of the box for less than an hour.
Furthermore, I am a full-time carer for family members with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and an Eating Disorder. Despite being informed that we cannot be without cooking facilities, Tefal has refused a "refund-first" resolution, effectively holding our money hostage while leaving a vulnerable household without the means to prepare safe meals.
This product is not fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I will be featuring this failure and Tefal's lack of accountability in an upcoming video report.
Avoid this set if you value safety and customer support
Got a 22cm tefal non stick pan from tesco, what rubbish.all oil runs to outer edges even when hot .so food (pancakes ,)stick and burns on center area.term non stick does not apply.very poor .
In September, I got a Tefal hot water dispenser (model BR3508G0), which was new to the market. I believe this product is unsafe. Notably, during my complaint, this model was removed from the Tefal website and has never been relisted.
After around one month of use, I set the machine to dispense 350ml of water at 95°C. I briefly left the kitchen and returned to find the dispenser had failed to stop and was continuously pumping near-boiling water over the worktop and onto the floor. Fortunately, there were no children or pets present.
Despite acting quickly, damage was caused to the kitchen plinths and the side of the breakfast bar. I contacted Tefal immediately and the case was escalated to their claims department, who asked me to obtain prices for the damaged items and two repair quotes.
Throughout numerous calls and emails, Tefal never suggested user error. The dispenser was advertised as only being able to dispense specific quantities, and I had previously confirmed with both Amazon and Tefal that it could not dispense more than the selected amount.
Tefal collected the machine for inspection. When it was returned, I was told they could not replicate the fault and that I must have activated “manual mode.” This mode is poorly explained and was never mentioned by any Tefal representative during prior communications.
When Tefal returned the dispenser to me, the lid had been forced down, and the cannister arrived broken, we put this down to poor packing of the item but it was also damaged internally which could not have been done during transit, this damage made the machine unusable. A Tefal representative, Thabit, confirmed a replacement canister would be sent. Despite repeated requests, this has never arrived. I was given a DPD tracking number, but the dispatch company employed by Tefal later confirmed the parcel was never collected and the canister was supposedly awaiting dispatch in a manager’s office. Over a month later, nothing has been received.
Tefal have taken no responsibility for this product failure. While customer service initially appeared helpful, their engagement stopped once it became clear we would not accept being fobbed off. Given the safety incident and the product’s removal from Tefal’s website, I would strongly caution others against Tefal products.
CASE 07736573 Tefal promote a service they cannot deliver. They state delivery within 24hrs if ordered before 2pm. We have an order which we ordered last Wednesday 19th Nov and we are now on Monday 24th Nov and still no delivery. Their courier Yodel don't want to sort and we have no idea if/when the order will arrive. Tefal CS say to speak with the courier! Tefal are mis-selling a service they cannot provide and should be taken to task.
I just have to post this as I received my tefal oven and it really is amazing. I’ve always been a ninja girl but this is truly a game changer.
I’m a disabled person in her mid 50’s and this is so easy to use and to clean. It’s been a game changer for me.
I registered my Tefal X-Force Flex 15.60 vacuum for the official battery safety recall over a month ago.
The recall website clearly stated that the product must not be used and should be disposed of immediately due to a fire risk.
Since then, I have received only template emails and false promises.
More than four weeks later, there is still no replacement, no refund, and no clear timeline.
Shockingly, one of their agents even suggested that I could continue using the recalled battery — completely ignoring their own recall safety instructions.
This is a serious failure of customer care and consumer safety responsibility.
Tefal’s recall handling is unacceptable — unsafe, disorganised, and dismissive.
If a company cannot safely and promptly handle a fire-risk recall, it raises major concerns about how it values its customers.
I’ve been using the Tefal Quickchef HB67MB30 for a while now and I just love it. It’s super powerful and mixes everything fast — from soups to smoothies. I like that it has different speeds, and the turbo button is great when I need extra power. It’s also quieter than I expected and really easy to clean. The chopper and whisk are a nice bonus. Great quality, totally worth it!
Tefal Pro express vision. The Iron look good but it's faulty. A lot of leak on steam. We signed for warranty return. Its nightmare. 3 weeks and the company it's like snake. A lot of questions and lot of videos. Nothing going good .Keep away.!!!!
After two weeks of use, it started to spray dark spots, which ruined clothes. I do not recommend it. Customer service refuses to refund.
We've bought and used Tefal pans for a number of years but won't be buying anymore.
The last two frying pans we've purchased have been very poor quality. The bases are clearly very thin and made from poor quality materials because they bow badly when used. This renders them useless to use on flat, ceramic hob, electric cookers.
Even though they are guaranteed for a year, customer services won't replace them, they only offer a 20% / 50% discount when you purchase a new pan. Why would you buy another poor quality pan?
Very poor quality pans and very poor customer service.
We purchased the large duel door airfryer in December 24 so 9months of using it most days. A couple of months ago we noticed the handles were loose so we tighten them. The screws keep loosening and fall out into the drum when cooking. We have contacted tefal as it was purchased directly from them and they have not replied back once. One of the front plates is also corroded, from a well known brand this is disgusting and we wont be buying tefal again. Our previous airfryer was ninja, this also was a disappointment. In future will just buy a cheaper brand.
I purchased the Tefal Xplorer 95 expecting a high-quality and durable product from a reputable brand. Unfortunately, after just two months of use, the vacuum cleaner required servicing due to a motor failure. After the repair, it worked for a short period, but then the battery stopped functioning.
What is even more frustrating is that the cost of replacing the battery exceeds the current value of the vacuum cleaner itself, making any repair financially unreasonable. I am deeply disappointed with the product’s quality and the lack of cost-effective support options from the manufacturer.
This experience has severely undermined my trust in Tefal as a brand known for solid and reliable appliances.
I have Tefal Steam Iron Station my wife bought 2 and half Years ago.
We’ve never had a problem with it, we were very happy with it, and myself especially because I do all my own ironing. 5 days ago I turned the iron on and while it was heating up, I heard a loud pop, and steam started to gush out from underneath the body.
I contacted Tefal and explained the issue. Let me say, terrible customer service, basically they don’t care!
I’ve had a few Tefal products and after this experience, I certainly will not be purchasing any Tefal Products in the future.
I think they deserve some reviews here. I personally like some of their none-stick pans and multi cookers. The steam cookers are also very durable and work for years without breaking.
