Brian, of Tech Yachts Turkey, was highly recommended to us by a cruising couple we met on Ios. We communicated with him prior to our arrival. He came to our boat as promised, assessed our problems, and made a plan. He replaced our leaking propeller shaft seal without hauling out the boat. This included fixing an alignment issue, overlooked by others, which likely led to the recurring problem. We are thrilled with our bone#dry bilges. He sorted out some electrical issues, replaced a failed ventilation fan in the engine room, and added 30 meters of anchor chain to our rode. His work was meticulous and efficient. He also pointed out some issues which will need attention in the near future and made safety recommendations. Brian is well-connected in the boat repair community. After assessing our leaking hatches and skylights he made a phone call. Later that day all 8 failing hatches and 3 skylights were gone, to be refurbished and replaced within a few days. The workmanship was excellent and included resealing our large windows. Brian knows who to call. I now have an expert I can trust to help maintain my boat. Although we keep the boat near Athens, I anticipate bringing her back to Brian as the needs arise. I couldn’t be happier.

Over the last 5 years TYT has been managing all the maintenance, replacement and updating that a 25 year old yacht requires. His work has been timely, efficient, professional and very good value.

He started with mechanical work on the engine and transmission and then successfully took on work including structural jobs, electrical rewiring, wooden deck repairs, deck equipment repairs and replacement, stainless steel design and installation as well as annual cleaning, antifouling and guardianage.

His prior experience providing several years of flotilla fleet maintenance means that he has seen most problems and knows how to fix them professionally and affordably. He also has an extensive range of contacts to provide help for specialised jobs. It is no surprise that he has a top reputation in marinas and ports in SW Turkey.

I have no hesitation in recommending TYT as one of the most professional and value for money firms in SW Turkey.

I have been using TEC Yachts Turkey to help maintain, and effect repairs, on my yacht since 2010.I have always been impressed with the standard of the work that TEC Yachts Turkey achieved every time they did a job for me.

I started off having only a few jobs done by TEC Yachts Turkey together with other contractors during servicing of my yacht. However, it soon became apparent that the quality of the work done by TEC Yachts was consistently higher than the other contractors. Consequently TEC Yachts now does all the maintenance and repair work on my yacht.

I would recommend TEC Yachts Turkey for other reasons too. They will always give you options for repairs that may be needed. They do not always suggest the most expensive option, only the best option for your boat. They will only recommend repair work if it is really needed and not just desirable.

In short I cannot fault the work or the attitude of TEC Yachts Turkey and recommend them to anyone who wants maintenance or repairs they can rely on.

We were very satisfied with all the servicing work he has done for us over the past 5 years. This includes cleaning and antifouling each year, rudder repair, Hull fibreglass repair and non slip deck paint on dog house roof,sourced an outboard engine etc and he very good at explaining what he is doing, even sent photo updates of the work he has done in our absence for our peace of mind. He fully discusses your problems/ needs and reliably answers contact with him in a short space of time. We are delighted to be able to recommend him.

Repairs and services are completed to a very high standard. Suggestions are often given on how to improve a situation or system. This is good, sound advice which will make things more efficient, or prevent a breakdown at a later date.

Given the choice, I would not use anyone else.

Brian from Tecyachtsturkey has been carrying out all the work on our yacht "Allegro" since we purchased her in 2016.
He has carried out a range of jobs from completely refurbishing our water logged rudder to having our standing rigging changed. He has made our yacht totally leak free from all hatches etc. The list of work that Brian has carried out for us is rather large to say the least.
