Worst than tm5402 M3

compared to m3, very slow, can't update channels, has firmwire which does not update anything- I GAVE 1 STAR AS ALSO NO SUPPORT FROM TECHNOMATE ON THESE. I REGRET REPLACING IT WITH M3

Technomate satellite receiver

I have had several of these receivers (1000,5000,5200,5500,m1,m2,and m3). All of them broke down after 2 to 4 years .The customer service were not helpfull when I contacted them they advised me to buy the new version M4 .
But I am not going to invest in technomate anylonger far too expensive and it does not last long enough the box also can not be repaired once stop working .

technomate customer since 2011. Not anymore

I have been a technomate customer since 2011.
Time and time again Technomate have left down their customers regarding Satellite receivers. Many rival satellite receiver manufactures support their boxes with patches for 5 to 6 years but Technomate have a long list of temporary supports.
You would be lucky if you got 1 to 2 years of patches with Technomate.
Next Year Technomate will launch their TM 5402 M5 4K receiver only a few years after launching their current M4.
I know many people who have worked with Technomate (i.e. sat-universe) to make Technomate what they are today and Technomate have betrayed them like Technomate has a history of doing betraying their loyal customers who were gullible into buying a receiver from them just because Technomate was once a big name in 2011-2014.
For anyone contentemplating getting a Technomate receiver don't!
Get GTMedia or Viark instead because they truly care for their customers.

I have been with this Technomate for…

I have been with this Technomate for around 14yrs...always was problem with sensitive of remote control but I had enough!!!!! this is the worst unconformable remotes!!! 2metres is ok -rest believe me its a sh...t! Changing brand right now!!!
I have had these most expensive one as well - bloody same problem!
Customer service are totally arrogant!

Worst customer service and cctv…

Worst customer service and cctv equipment i have ever purchased. Camera's record constantly as motion detection is poor. Worst website i have ever seen. Called tech support, said they would call me back, never did. Called again a month later, was asked to keep calling every 10 mins as they don't call people back. Absolute joke! Will never, EVER buy from this company again.

absolutely dire customer service

box work fine but freezes alot. the main button on the remote has become very hard after just 3 months making it extremely hard to use the system comfortably.
phoned Technomate and they refused to send a replacement. they wanted me to return my remote first before they will send a replacement.
they could not understand (or didnt care) that this will leave me without a remote meaning i cant use the system and watch TV. the insinuation here being that I'm lying or trying to cheat them. something i have no time for and just want a working remote.

They also wanted me to pay for the cost of sending back the remote despite informing them the 'Sale of Goods act' says they should cover costs like these.
complaining to the customer service manager and to the company directors over something as simple as replacement remote got me no where. i dread to think what it will be like if it was the main box going faulty.
absolutely terrible after sales customer service. should be on 'Watchdog'
