Bunch of liars and will not send mums contract out. I am taking this through small claims court. They enjoy ripping off vulnerable customers avoid at all costs.

Joke of a care plan as they call it send a engineer that clearly doesn't know what he is doing doesmt fix my oven and leaves saying ill have to book back in so my oven still doesn't work. Walk through my hoise no shoe.covers and dirty boots. And put oven on floor no protection damaging my floor. They send a link to complete a survey and because I leave a bad review they send a message saying I've been opened out of the survey waiste of time and money

I have had this policy since May 2019 for a fridge freezer that I purchased from curry’s.
Both doors on the fridge and freezer have got rust around both doors. I sent pictures over a week ago and have only just received a reply? I called them today to be put through to Hotpoint to book the repair. I was told they don’t replace doors unless they’re broken. I have now cancelled the policy waiting £342 over the years. I could have brought a new fridge freezer with the money. I will never purchase a care plan through curry’s again.

We’ve spent a considerable amount on a Samsung jet bot + robot. Unfortunately, the robot doesn’t seem to retain its map after a few days. This is a major issue and we used our care plan to access it. The team only picked up on this today, as I can see that the robot was removed from my SmartThings app, not even after an hour we have received an email stating they couldn’t find a fault of course, as the one-week fix promise ends tomorrow, seems like they will send it back as it is and we will start the process of sending the item back again and again. This is a £799 vacuum cleaner that we bought two and a half years ago. We have spent a large amount at Currys over the years and have multiple care plans but this will be the last. The same thing has happened with the our coffee machine which we ended up throwing away due to the headache to get a replacement .Shame.
Edit: we now have the robot doing the same, trying to map the house and going against everything and stopping after a while because it couldn’t map. We have emailed the team as advised below but we did not obtain any response for the last 10 days. At this point we are left believing the care plan is a scam and it’s better going directly to the brands.
Edit 2: We have now followed up twice with contactsocial email with absolutely no response or acknowledgement. We have contacted the care plan team once again and here we go exactly like the last time. They will access the robot once again. I am sorry but this is appalling, the team will do as always, wait until the 7th day mark hits and say nothing is wrong, when we now have taken screenshots of the robot behaviour on the app. At this point, Currys is a never again.

Awful! Absolutely awful. I bought a PC from Currys in November 2018 and took out an agreement with Knowhow (now Care & Repair) and not needed them until now. I phoned about my PC and apparently they don't come out to fix it as I was told over the phone by some African woman. You'd at least expect to get a knowledgable person the other end. They only come out to fix large appliances and she told me firstly to fix it myself. That nullifies any agreement or doesn't she know that. Ha ha that's a joke. Then she said to take it to my nearest Currys store (16 miles away). I told her I'm 73 and awaiting a new hip. How on earth can I carry a desktop PC from a car to the store even if I could get to the stores she mentioned as I know both of those stores are difficult to carry a PC to. In the end they are coming out to collect my PC on Friday this week and it will be gone a minimum of 7 days. No replacement, so I'm without my pc and I need it. Seeing that I pay £6.99 per month for this privilege and in the time I've had the agreement I have paid out some £582 for the agreement, this is disgusting. Will I buy from Currys again and take out an agreement? Not likely. I won't be buying anything from them again. I will buy another new PC soon but not from them. I thought the agreement would protect my pc, but alas no!

I have been paying for warranty for the past 8 years. In fairness they are swift to come and fix it but the issue arises when I ask for a replacement. Despite having had
it repaired at least 4 times they always only have record of 1!!! I was put through to various depts today to clarify how many mechanical repairs had been done but seemingly no one has access to this information. I have decided that enough is enough and have cancelled this and a policy on my washing machine. Would say NEVER take a policy from currys. All talk but absolutely no substance and denial seems to be their business model . Shame on you Currys for such a large brand

Oh wow!! Amazing response!!! Exactly the same as all the previous responses. Putting a name at the end does NOT make it from a human being! The only decent thing would be for knowhow to review the issue in a conversation and sort the problem ....but oh no is left up to the customer again to contact a faceless email address with a no doubt useless response. (Find emailing a bizarre communication method of choice as when I asked the repairs division to email me how many mechanical faults I had already had,so I would have proof of more than 2,
was told they can't email!! What total nonsense!!!) Knowhow just give the contractual service you promise with customer service staff who can actually service customers rather than just palming them off or passing them to yet another useless colleague

Got given a time slot for a tumble drier repair. Waited in to receive a text saying the engineer had called and I was not available? I have cctv at my address as well as a video doorbell. Checked. No engineer had called. Rang and spoke to a representative. She rang the engineer. Came back to tell me the engineer had been, I was not in and to move forward and book another appointment. I said I did not want to move forward and tried to explain again I had been at home and I had not had a visit and could he return. She told me the engineer had said I had a green door and a doorbell, he had been, I wasn't in and no he wasn't coming back. I told her I do not have a green door. Again she wanted to move forward but the impression she gave was that I was lying! She continued to talk over me, I had to raise my voice to be heard and then I was accused of shouting at her and she hung up. Rang again, another operator. Tried to explain what had happened very calmly, got hung up on again before I could even give my name. Rang again and unable to take my call. Thank god these calls are recorded. Complaint on way and will find another warranty.

As a loyal customer I’ve been with them more than 6 years paying them policy fees! But never been happy with them they try to make you pay but when it comes to the stage that they must replace the product because of frequent maintenance, they just try to skip that and make you end the policy, I bought a HD Laptop in 2019 for 500 and paid monthly instalment till now 2025 sometimes some small repair but when the laptop was in really deep repair condition, they said they can’t repair it and also they can’t replace it !!!! I feel like I have been scammed and paid more than the product price for repair all these years !!! And get nothing! Never recommend this company to anyone. AVOID THIS COMPANY FIR YOUR OWN GOOD,
I've been a customer at Currys Know How Cloud and Currys for years probably 13 years, but the cloud has not been working in recent weeks it' keeps flagging up error messages saying not connected to the internet when cleary I am, it keeps dropping out I need this to back up my biz data that is what I pay for you claim you offer "know how cloud support" however I have been on a call with Richard from Team H1 I've requested a call back from a manager regards the attitude of this so called IT tech help who hasn't even accessed my computer has a terrible lazy attitude instead of accessing my compter remotely as the guy the other day said it appeared to be an issue with know how cloud today that it's copied over 1.1 TB I asked was it backing up all data from my computer he said he cannot tell me that. I would like you to listen to this call please and come back to me as to what is the point in having know how back up if it may/may not be backing up all the work on my computer when i call for the second time I'm advised by Richard that all he can see is it's being blocked no offer of remote assistance despite me having concerns about losing work I've actually written a book and in that book for biz owners I recommended Currys Know How cloud however I'll be amending this and informing everyone on socials about this terrible experience from the most unhelpful tech I have ever had the unfortunate position of having to ask for tech help. Should be renamed refuses to can't help, won't help, doesn't care, can't be bothered ... whatever I'm fuming. I would like to request a manager call me to discuss ASAP. I need to make sure my cloud back up is working and is doing its job!!! Or I would like to request a full refund. I've just noticed you have a 1.5 out of 5 star reviews and did a search using AI on the BEST cloud tools I can get I drive from Microsoft for £20 per month. I would highly recommend Microsoft from now on due to this unfortunate incident.
There engineers are helpful and personable. Unfortunately, the rest of the rest of the staff are so poor as to completely undermine the good work of the engineers.
My mother had an issue with her washing machine door (broken latch) and the door would no longer open. She reported the fault and an engineer came out on the 23rd May 2025. Unfortunately he could not provide a repair, he said colleagues would be back in touch to arrange a repair within 7 days or a like for like replacement will be provided. A week later my mum phoned to ask what was happening to be told by the call centre staff they tried to call on the 23rd May (mum was in all day and has an answer machine) but they got no answer. They said they had therefore booked in a repair for the machine on the 12th June 2025. My mum asked about the offer of a replacement and they said the offer was no longer valid because she didn't answer the call and the repair had now been booked in. After being passed around a number of call centre staff, my mum was insulted by a senior member of staff and told to stay by her phone.
Despite the helpful engineers, the rest of the experience is so poor I would give no stars if I could.

Absolutely livid just noticed on my bank statement that whatevehappensknowhow has taking money out of my bank account and I definitely know I did not contact this company to continue this charge I actually assumed they would no longer be taking money out of my bank account because I did not agree to continue with the insurance.Not only that this company took 2 payments from my bank account in one month. I'm absolutely livid I've cancelled the direct debit with my bank and I've now just cancelled the direct debit with this company today the 12/6/2025 I will be checking my next bank statement when it comes in. Wish I could take a picture to show the proof that this company took money out of my bank account twice in one month. I wasn't left any opinion it was fact it clearly said next day delivery and as your very well aware of this since I did send you the photo evidence onto you after my order was placed stating next day delivery . And I don't like being called a liar . If I could I would most definitely have put the picture up on trust pilot to prove that it clearly states next day delivery.

A 'WHATEVERHAPPENS/KN debit just popped up on my mother's bank statement, I don't even know what it is for but I guess it is some kind of insurance for a tablet that I bought for my mother. I don't seem to have any papework or email about this so I am left feeling that I have been scammed.

I purchased a dishwasher with a 5 year Care & Repair plan. I have spent the last 90 minutes being told by a call centre person that they have no record of my plan and then gave me a phone number to call that continually takes 3 minutes of your life with inane questions - and then hangs up!
This feels like a deliberate strategy to drive away people who have already paid for a service plan by just refusing to acknowledge the existence of the plan.
I phoned to ask why they taking payment out of my account on random dates and why money was not taken out to cover payment this month. I was told 'I will set you up can you pay now?", yes but it is already set up for you to take money out of my account once a month. He said "technical issues and Im setting up the payment plan again."
Something tells me I am going to have to ring them again, so I asked him did he cancel the previous arrangement?

yes yes, can you pay now?"

Would avoid with a passion. The service is absolutely awful. Washing machine been down since 27th December. Been out to fix it twice but fault is still there. When you get through they say contact the manufacturer, so when you do it says can’t take your call right now and online portal doesn’t work. Ring curry’s back and they just say speak to the manufacturer. No one will sort it out so after around 12 phone calls and numerous emails and it being useless for 3 months I’ve had to buy a brand new one and took it through Domestic & General. Much better company. Other appliances through them and never had a problem. Always come out within 7 days and it’s either fixed or replaced with no hassle

My washing machine is not working properly, I have tried to book an appointment for an engineer to come out to fix it by ringing knowhow I have a care plan for it, but all the same man who I keep getting through too is saying the same thing, my repair and support plan reference is not want he needs? It all I have on the paperwork 🙈 I have nothing else, and the man keeps saying that curry's site is down?
