Complete shambles. Really bad customer service and poor communication. No one knows what they are doing. Emailed them for a quote based on what my doctor had requested. They sent the prices back, around £2k in total. Found most of the tests cheaper elsewhere. Highly recommend Nuffield Health and Medichecks. Some of the tests I couldn’t find anywhere else so I emailed again to ask how to ‘book’. I was told it’s a walk-in clinic but they must have a referral letter from my doctor. Sent in the referral, no reply. Called Patient Reception but kept getting through to the laboratory. They said I have to call Reception and gave me the number to call. It was the same number I had been calling!! Apparently it transfers to them when Reception is busy. They said keep trying but I just kept getting re-routed to the same person! In the end she took my number and enquired with Reception on my behalf. I wanted to know if they had received the referral so I could make the journey there as I don’t live locally! Anyway, I get there and the nurses say they’ve never heard of half of the tests in my referral and it’s going to cost loads more. Said they are not prepared to call my doctor to clarify the tests and didn’t have a clue about costs. I had to Google the tests and tell them what they were. Then they said to go to the payment counter to find out the costs. So I queue up there, only to be told they don’t know! So then they tell me to go back to Reception! And everyone’s telling me just go get the bloods done and sort out the payment later by invoice. That’s all very well, but how do I know what I’m letting myself in for??? So then finally someone confirms it’s just one extra cost at £25 extra. Ok I said, because by this time they had already told me they close at 1pm and they would be going home, whether I was still there or not. So I go in to have my bloods, the girl said my blood stopped. Asked me if I had drank plenty of water. Yes I had. She said she would get me some more water. She never came back. Later I see she’s got changed and is heading out to go home. So then I’m sitting there not having a clue what’s going on and luckily a lovely nurse persevered with my veins and managed to get the blood after I cried! So then we go home and await the invoices. Bear in mind my partner had the exact same tests as me. His are way more expensive than mine?? And both are more expensive than the original quote! So I email finance department. They do not answer my question, how comes we had the exact same tests on the same day and both are different prices??? We still have not received the results and they are sending letters from the credit department asking for payment, despite me asking for clarifications! Absolutely useless

very difficult to obtain results and even more difficult to get your money back when you have overpaid them.
Stay away from them

Horrible place to work at, they don’t care for the staff at FOH. Managers are passive aggressive and you can only progress through nepotism. Don’t care for staff as individuals at all and are not friendly. A lot of gossip and cattiness. Due to mostly being an all female team.

My IVF clinic sent me for a blood test at TDL and the person taking my blood test was so very kind. I felt compelled to write a positive review. I will email them as well with the feedback!

Sent three emails asking for details of Lyme testing procedures and costs. No replies apart from automated responses. It's been two months. Amateurs
TDL are outstanding in every aspect. A major player with a track record in clinical excellence, I have found them to offer not only top-notch diagnostic service - fast and reliable - but also outstanding customer service. Any queries are dealt with by an efficient, competent and friendly team which might be more typical of a family business rather than the big operation they are. As a very busy lab, they have risen to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and adapted quickly and calmly to new demands. You can't go wrong by choosing TDL as a partner.

Their finance department don't have a clue. Being chased for a debt I don't owe -- seems to be the story of dealing with this organisation. Can't help but wonder if they're running some sort of scam?

Incorrect blood test carried out initially so had to have a re-test, delaying result by 1 month. The result meant further tests were required, these were taken, for several weeks we were told the results would be ready shortly, until finally, 6-7 weeks later, we were told they had been forgotten and the lab had lost our samples. Still waiting to be contacted by TDL for them to advise on what has happened.
Extremely rude, unprofessional and negligent.
They chased me after with debt recovery even though I already paid. no letter prior, no emails. Once I made it aware to them of the problem. They took months to answer despite saying it was obviously urgent.
I was refererred to this organisation for a PSA test on 29th September 2020.
I filled out forms upon arrival supplying my insurance details and my pre-authorisation claim number.
On 11th November I receive a legal letter chasing for the money without any intervening follow up.
A phone call revealed that they did not follow up with my insurance company and chose to hand my file to their legal department in the first instance.
This is in my opinion very aggressive and I encourage all consultants in the Harley Street area to make better arrangements for their patients.
