TaskUs Thessaloniki
A tiring training. A surreal production experience. Social media content that should be removed but won't be because it doesn't violate the social media giant's 'policies' so that your flagging is mostly performative. Eight hours of exposure to the worst content can cause damage to the worker's brain and mood. Add to this a company that violates basic worker protection standards: adequate breaks, psychological support that is just about protecting the company and promoting the fake "people first motto," violation of workplace safety (no stairs, only the use of overcrowded elevators), lack of respect for those who get sick and those who use public transportation to get to work and end up being 2-3 minutes late, and inhumane/humiliating "security checks" that only serve to oppress/intimidate workers, preventing them from enjoying those few minutes of permitted breaks or to have bathroom breaks (already limited by the automatic timer that puts you "unavailable" after a few seconds/minutes). In short, a toxic job made even more toxic by a company that violates basic human rights and, among other things, rewards lazy workers—provided they're favored for their submissiveness—rather than those who actually work, who are often fired without notice and for fanciful, if not entirely invented, reasons. Management is harassing, toxic, and incompetent. Requesting support and coaching is seen as a provocation, and you get blacklisted. You might even feel truly sorry for being fired arbitrarily and with threats (with the HR threatening and manipulating you to silence you). However, it's better to lose a job like this than to find it. A word of advice: stay away. You'll gain from it. And all that glamorous image of human rights and care for their workers is just to lie to potential new workers and survive the bad rep.
