Waste of time. Misinformation

Applied to the non-voice role for the AI campaign at their Imus site. The clear requirements in the job posting, as well as the banner that they displayed during the Zoom call is to have "at least 1 year of BPO experience OR 6 months technical support experience." I have 4 months of BPO and almost 6 years of tech. supp. However, after spending almost 2 hours for form application, assessment, waiting, etc. they just said that the tech support must also be from a BPO company and a telco account specifically, and the application cannot proceed. A complete waste of time.

My experiences are also well described in the CV that I initially submitted to them. I hope that they can be clear enough from the start before making the applicants progress.

They continuously advertised this work from home setup as well through their social media pages, but it's not actually available.

Be ridiculous - a Masterclass

One of the slogans that the company loves to use us 'Be ridiculous ' however they have stepped up their game making this company -which was once a nice workplace - into an abysmal hellscape. They often claim to be a "people first" company, but as one might expect this only caters as decoration.

I have worked for some years for this company. At first it was enjoyable and nice, but in the last year they decided to made some incredibly 'ridiculous' decisions.

This ranged from (A)stupid things to (B)ery serious choices.

A. On the lesser side this involved doing additional tasks outside of your job description. As such I found: myself interviewing people to assess their language, to translate some legal text and training data, to doing tests for others...
They also don't shy away to fire people who were top performance and had multiple years of experience and expertise with the company just because the client didn't want them. They have no loyalty towards employees whatsoever.

B. On more serious matters, they took away unpaid leaves, then pushed for us to work on some holidays and are now also expecting everyone to work on all holidays. Want time off? Use your own PTO. There was also no mention of getting extra PTO to compromise with this change...
They also shared the news that the people who were working from home are now expected to come to the office. While this is mentioned in the contract, it is unreasonable to expect people who have a house, families or pets or social lives to uproot everything in 3 months for just some company. They said they would not fire or dismiss anyone, but did allude that they would be considered as having resigned. When people asked why they would not at least give them the grace to be fired -as plenty are tenured and a compensation or being able to apply for benefits might be useful in the current job market- the reply ringed clear for everyone: "We are not a charity"

While there's a few meetings a year where they promote the company and what it accomplished and how it's employee friendly with a "people's first" mentality, do not be fooled as the more severe -and ridiculous choices- reveal the exploitative nature of this company.

Be ridiculous, they have certainly mastered it.

Very poor and unprofessional employer.

Very poor and unprofessional employer.
First, we were forced to work 10 consecutive days instead of 5, without any consultation. One week later, we were informed that public holidays would no longer be granted by the company and that the only way to take time off on public holidays was by using our own vacation days.
All employees work from home, yet suddenly we were told that due to supposedly decreased productivity and quality, everyone must return to the office. In reality, this means employees are expected to completely disrupt their lives, relocate, and give up their established living situations.
If you are unable or unwilling to work from the office, you are simply told that this will result in termination. There is no understanding, no discussion, and no respect for employees’ personal circumstances.
This company takes no responsibility and treats its staff as disposable. Absolutely not recommended

TaskUs Thessaloniki

A tiring training. A surreal production experience. Social media content that should be removed but won't be because it doesn't violate the social media giant's 'policies' so that your flagging is mostly performative. Eight hours of exposure to the worst content can cause damage to the worker's brain and mood. Add to this a company that violates basic worker protection standards: adequate breaks, psychological support that is just about protecting the company and promoting the fake "people first motto," violation of workplace safety (no stairs, only the use of overcrowded elevators), lack of respect for those who get sick and those who use public transportation to get to work and end up being 2-3 minutes late, and inhumane/humiliating "security checks" that only serve to oppress/intimidate workers, preventing them from enjoying those few minutes of permitted breaks or to have bathroom breaks (already limited by the automatic timer that puts you "unavailable" after a few seconds/minutes). In short, a toxic job made even more toxic by a company that violates basic human rights and, among other things, rewards lazy workers—provided they're favored for their submissiveness—rather than those who actually work, who are often fired without notice and for fanciful, if not entirely invented, reasons. Management is harassing, toxic, and incompetent. Requesting support and coaching is seen as a provocation, and you get blacklisted. You might even feel truly sorry for being fired arbitrarily and with threats (with the HR threatening and manipulating you to silence you). However, it's better to lose a job like this than to find it. A word of advice: stay away. You'll gain from it. And all that glamorous image of human rights and care for their workers is just to lie to potential new workers and survive the bad rep.

Malpractices at Taskus Bytedance process

The trainers and the management are not aligned and the trainers don't want to take initiative to understand or teach the policy to the MODs which is the basic responsibility of the trainers. The taskus Bytedance video queue is a sinking ship and it's just a matter of time. Nothing is working good inside and consider me as a wishtle blower. #Bytedance should look into this as they are burning money by giving it to taskus. #NML queue.

Hello

Hello , guys yesterday was my last working day in just few hours ago I have received notice of termination, I have never came across to such pathetic management in entire my journey. Was in. A Fintech proces ,at mystiqa Delhi site , These people will gonna do whatever they want. If you feel that you are the only who have treated unfairly then your are wrong you are not single one. Today I was in office people are saying there's another process got down and mine too.

But I won't be silent this time they way I have been treated by the indore and delhi hr mangement I'll be submitting PIL to Indian High court. For the mental harrasment or unfair treatment I got. Taskus has worst manegement they have degraded the business standards these people hold employees salary and not even respond over calls .

Coming in task us was the biggest mistake of my life which I made , I'll do whatever I'm capable of to make sure that they'll not gonna treat anyone as they treated me at the end I'm not playing any victim card here whosoever is seeing this review can check the employee profile on LinkedIn most of them found to be working only for 3-5 months.

Worst place i have ever worked

Worst place i have ever worked. As soon as you even go to the toilet there was a countdown the it equipment could barely run out tasks, the bosses was so rude and arrogant that i am lost for words they couldnt even afford to pay out salary so they paid us in two parts since they most likely had our money invested. I got terminated for getting 3 written warnings one for playing a game of Cards 2 for being threatened by a colleague and a friend of here after she scammed me for 300 euro and 3 for my grandfather being terminal ill of cancer and dying and missing 3 days, but as they said had you only went to the doctor and lied them up their face and had a sick note it would have been perfect like wtf. Half of our breaks went taking elevators and then they where attacking you for spent 8 min at the toilet they should be ashamed, and then for that salary basically paying us the same as a 13 year old news paper boy in Denmark and disrespecting like that. Hr is non existing only when they fired you and in the beginning we where almost 20-25 ish people now they only have 1-2 more left to terminate and they have strike Psychos there is no food now lace either everybody just want to get as far away from there basically look at the Reviews they speak for themselves and for any documentation or anything please feel free to contact me

Garbage recruitment process as they…

Garbage recruitment process as they assured the job despite my pending papers only to tell me two days before training that i couldn't be employed, having to struggle unemployed without any pay for a time and having to do night work, the company refused accountability and two managers went out of their way and own personal pocket to help me to keep a roof over my head. Caused mental trauma and extreme depression with almost self deletion. Garbage just like TP Greece

Thieves

Call them TaskUs or TaskVerse, whatever, it doesn't matter.
I call them THIEVES!
I worked for them, they just stole my time as they didn't pay me!
They reject your hard work by adducting the most bizarre excuses you have heard on earth! What? Does that sound silly? Of course, it does. Unfortunately, that is what happened to me and many people out there.
Plus, they fill up their values page with "mottos" and anything depicting them as "Modern Saints", and even talk about labour slavery, but in the end, they are acting the opposite.

Should you need a job, just go anywhere else.

Not trusted

I can confirm comment under me , they didn't pay me full salary, edenred card not charged fully. Payroll department doesn't communicate, doesn't even have phone number to call when there is issue with money, they use robots for that. They don't react at all when you mail them. So , not trusted company at all!

Worst BPO ever.

Worst company ever. Worked here for 6-7 month and it was the worst decision in my life to join this company. Let me tell you the positives first.

Here’s a summary of my feedback:

### Positives:
- Easy to get hired; straightforward interview process
- No background checks
- Higher salary compared to competitors

### Negatives:
- Payroll issues and post-employment problems
- Poor employee support
- Underdeveloped work processes and poor work culture
- Lack of productivity and too much of negative atmosphere among employees
- Unjustified terminations and lack of job security
- Significant disconnect between senior management and average employees
- Wide gap in employee benefits
- Poor quality of the workforce due to an easy interview process

My detailed feedback highlights several critical areas where the company could improve to enhance the overall employee experience and work environment.

Waiting for an virtual job application initial interview - TOTAL NIGHTMARE!

We know you guys are busy tending to the walk-in applicants onsite but we also have things to do here at home with our families. Please give equal importance to the people in this room. Thank you. Waiting for an initial interview for hours is giving out a very bad impression about TaskUs Philippines on how the recruitment department is handling virtual application process. Very very disappointing.

Also known as TaskVerse

Also known as TaskVerse, a digital outsourcing company. Through Facebook I found this company, that supposedly pays for AI help through simple outsourced video tasks. Did tasks, and uploaded, but couldn’t submit for payment. Numerous emails sent, and no response. Beware do not waste your time giving this company FREE outsourcing.
