I cannot recommend Talbots and specifically Zara Nasser highly enough. From start to finish, she has been absolutely amazing throughout what has been a very stressful sale and purchase process.

I am a natural worrier and found the uncertainty of moving house incredibly anxiety-provoking at times. Zara was always reassuring, responsive, and realistic. She never made promises she couldn't keep, but she always took the time to explain where things were up to, what the next steps were, and what to expect. That honest and balanced approach gave me so much confidence and helped keep me calm during some challenging moments.

In fact, there were points during the transaction when I think Zara knew the status of my house move better than I knew what day of the week it was! I became so used to checking my emails and worrying about the next hurdle that I suspect my name popping up in her inbox was probably accompanied by the words, "What is Emma worrying about today?" Yet every single time, she responded with patience, kindness, and reassurance.

What really stood out was her communication. Emails were answered promptly, updates were clear, and I always felt that my concerns were being taken seriously. No question was ever too much trouble.

We chose to use Talbots Law as our solicitors when selling and buying a property due to recommendation from a friend and we cannot fault them. Although other solicitors in the chain have lacked, Sean and Amber have been wonderful with keeping us updated, letting us know when we can do things to accelerate the process and also when to get estate agents involved in chasing the buyer’s solicitor. We always hear other people moan about their solicitors but genuinely we feel so lucky to have had this experience and cannot thank Sean and Amber enough. They’re both a credit to talbots!

When buying my first home I was recommended Nick by a family member, and I'm so pleased because has been fantastic to work with start to finish. His communication was always super clear, summarising any key points so I didn't feel so lost with all the information that came through on surveys etc. I was also never left waiting for a reply, and I was never in the dark about what was going on in the background. I have to give a five star review especially for the team who worked on my case for me, to purchase my property whilst I am not a stupid man I found the process of buying my property at the outset stressful but after liaising with talbots solicitor Marcus Samuel brown and jaspal bhogal the process was a pleasant journey,I truly appreciate the help and advice and work they did in getting me to my completion date and the expert manner in which they did this, I would recommend these individuals, thankyou very much

I used Talbots Law for a house purchase that ultimately fell through due to boundary issues. They completed the legal work, but communication was limited throughout. I paid £420 upfront to start the work.
After I pulled out, I emailed the solicitor to say I wanted to instruct them again on my next purchase and later sent across the details of the new property. I received no reply. When I chased (4 weeks later), I was told there was no file open for me at all. I then informed them I was switching solicitors because I was unhappy with the lack of communication.
Only after I told them I was moving firms was I informed that I was owed a refund of £59 and some change from the original £420 fee. I was told this would arrive in 3–5 working days. It has now been 7 working days, I have sent three follow-up emails with no response, and I am still waiting for both the refund and a promised call-back.
The consistent problem has been poor communication — unanswered emails, missed updates, and simple administrative tasks not being dealt with promptly. I would not recommend them if reliable contact matters to you.

Ethan and Simratnoor were extremely helpful and efficient in handling our part exchange process buying a Redrow property, seeing to the developer also.
There were some last minute hiccups that Ethan worked into the night helping to resolve so that our completion date could go ahead as planned. Big thankyou to both and Talbots in general. Glad to have been referred and would recommend to friends also
