I had an extremely disappointing experience at the antenatal clinic. As an expectant mother, I came to this facility with high hopes for a supportive and compassionate approach to my pregnancy and birthing preferences. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

I have a previous traumatic experience with a vaginal birth, and after consulting with my healthcare provider, a planned C-section was recommended for my current pregnancy for psychological reasons. Despite this recommendation and my well-founded concerns, the staff at this hospital were insistent on pushing for a vaginal birth.

I felt unheard, disrespected, and utterly unsupported in my decision-making process. It's disheartening that they disregarded my medical history and my strong preference. This approach left me emotionally distressed and anxious throughout my pregnancy.

Every expectant mother should have the right to make informed decisions about her childbirth experience, especially when medical factors are involved. The lack of cooperation and empathy I encountered at this clinic has led me to seek alternative care options for my pregnancy and delivery.

I sincerely hope that future mothers are treated with greater respect and understanding, with their health and preferences at the forefront. My experience here was anything but positive, and I strongly caution others to carefully consider their options before choosing this clinic for their antenatal care.
