I was going to purchase my Kia PV5 from this company but there customer service is very slow and not accommodating whatsoever. Try before you buy means you can test drive it. I’m spending lots of money so want it for at least 4 hours but told it’s not possible. Then I asked the. If I could rent a VW out for the night to check to see if it’s for me, but everything was so hard for Sussex campervans. I am now having to go elsewhere. Let’s hope your experience isn’t like mine, even trying to speak with Daniel was impossible

We have just purchased our Swift Caravan from Sussex Caravans and I have to say that the whole experience was fantastic.
The sales guy was very helpful and professional and the man who did our handover was so very knowledgeable about our caravan and answered all of our questions.
Anyone there could not have been any more friendly or helpful right down to being great with our dog.
I would definitely recommend Sussex caravans and especially the sales person Aaron Barton if you want to purchase a Caravan or Motor home.

We feel 1 star is justified. I hope this review enables people to understand the rules and systems of this company especially with after care.
Warranty. We have owned our van for 2 years. She has had multiple faults both mechanical and internal. The SC warranty stipulates that all repairs have to be assessed and repaired by them. If you live a distance from Sussex it is a big problem, especially after multiple faults meaning multiple trips to them.
Negligence. After our underslung gas regulator was replaced by SC, 2 months later our service engineer informed us that the tank was corroded and needed replacing.
Incompetent staff. The so called 'check' list whereby each department signs off when work has been completed and checked, is a waste of time. Engine service is outsourced to a local garage. They did not complete the records, which is required for the warranty.
Communication. Appalling. We were passed off by the call handler and promised a call back, which never happened. The MD is arrogant and avoids communication.

Put a question to them on website got a call back and offered ex lease van £3800 the caller had no idea about my questions regarding the deluxe new camper seems a con emailed Sussex campers no reply 😱

Made an online enquiry then spoke to someone a week later and said we would contact them when ready to move forward. Now being hounded by daily calls and emails. If you want the hard sell then contact them, otherwise avoid!

Due to a change in circumstances my wife and I are parting with our Paradise Compact in only our second year of ownership, instead we're looking forward to taking steps towards enjoying our outdoor leisure in a different form. So grateful thanks to Nick and Jon and the After Care team for the generous way they dealt with our roof tent problem yesterday, even as soon-to-be ex-owners! Everybody at SCV has always represented the company so well in our three or four years as customers; it seems unlikely there are many other firms out there with the same open-minded approach but we shall see! For our part, Sussex Camper Vans will still be the first name that comes to mind in conversations about our camper van experience!

We had a great experience dealing with Sussex Campervans, the campers they offer are very well put together and the sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to invest in a camper.

SUPERB! That’s how I’d describe the experience with Daniel and all the team at Sussex Campervans. Their factory is a work of art, and that carries through to their amazing Campervans. I’d recommend just calling in to have a look around the place if you’re even thinking about getting a van. I’m Irish and as we say it’s great craic!
