Sunshine Garden Centre Reviews 

I don't understand how they have a reputation for the best garden centre in London...it's under-stocked for basic stuff like nursery pots, and small size plants are over expensive.

Best Garden Centre in our area. Friendly staff. We were there on the last weekend before lockdown began and the staff made sure that there were social distancing measures in place and that hand sanitisers were available, as well as the centre being very clean and well managed generally.

Banned for life for putting a tiny bedding plant back in the wrong place!!!!!!
Unbelievably rude owner harassing me twice and following me around to return the little plant to the other end of the nursery though I was near the checkout with a full trolley.!
I was probably one of their best customers too. What a stupid way to behave with your customers.

Sunshine Garden Centre - I could not rate you highly enough. I regularly come to buy seeds, plants, bulbs, pots and the like. All the staff must eat sunshine for breakfast, lunch and supper. Rarely does one receive such fantastic, knowledgeable, interested and attentive service. Simply a first rate experience and always a pleasure to visit the Sunshine Centre. I also but logs from you, which are always carried to my vehicle (or taxi) and loaded by courteous and jolly staff. Just before Christmas I bought my usual stash of kiln dried wood. Sadly when I get them home they were mouldy. One call to the team at the Sunshine Garden Centre, three weeks later after the Christmas holidays and a new set of four bags is delivered to my house the very next day, no question asked, and all delivered with a smile. I honestly cannot thank you enough Sunshine Centre for being excellent at what you do and for the care you provide to your customers. Being a customer of yours is a great pleasure. I had always wanted a Weber Gas grill. having completed all my reference work on line, I needed to go and look at one. Sunshine Garden Centre had one on display, so we drove there on the 10th August. having found the display, I was quickly and politely approached by Alfie, who was a pleasure to deal with, he asked what I needed and promptly price matched a deal I had seen on line, I then purchased some further accessories in store, just under £4K spent and it didn't hurt a bit!
Delivery was booked for the following Sat 17th in the AM.
Sat arrived and I had time to clear the area for the new grill and waited like a child at Christmas for my new toy to be delivered!
I had not heard anything on the day of delivery, so called Sunshine Garden Centre (they have a great way of answering the phone) and was told someone would call me back (being impatient) I called back and spoke to the manager who apologised about the delivery, but they had been let down by their courier, however he told me not to worry as they would deliver the Weber to me themselves as promised, I must caveat that this is an 183 mile round trip. NOW THAT IS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Eoin arrived Sat afternoon with my new grill, fully built (they didn't need to do that, but did), I was able to enjoy a fantastic joint of beef that evening, cooked superbly on the grill. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and please pass on my thanks to all involved in getting this fantastic cooking station to me when promised. Thank You!

great as a shopping venue but incredibly inefficient ordering + delivery service. don’t expect anyone to get back to you either

I have used them for 4 years now, all the staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the plants are always healthy and thrive. You pay between 5-15% more than buying off the internet but for the help you get is awesome. I also get a nice warm glow supporting real businesses with real people in it rather than the faceless monsters behind Amazon!

Oh yes, and they have a lovely cafe with delicious teas and cakes :-)
