Fantastic, highly recommend.
My daughter had a Sublime Science party for her 6th birthday and it was incredible. Mel was our scientist and she kept 22 5 and 6 year olds thoroughly entertained and engaged for an hour and a quarter - the parents and siblings couldn't resist watching the rockets and many of the siblings older and younger were attracted to what was happening and sat around watching most of the show. My daughter was kept very much the focus so she felt really special but all of the children were included and had turns at lots of things, not just the slime and the sherbet which were a huge hit. Everyone said as they were leaving that it was a fabulous day and how much fun all the kids had. They all loved that they got to take home their slime and a certificate and my daughter has a lovely certificate that all of her friends signed as a memento of the day. I'd recommend the company to anyone. The booking process was clear, quick and easy, Mel called a few days before to make sure everything was set and we knew everything we needed to and then the day itself went brilliantly. 5 stars very well deserved.

Best party EVER!!
Wow, what can I say!?!? Atomic Alex and Lightening Loui were absolutely fantastic!! My daughter was soooo excited for her 5th birthday science party and it did not disappoint! All the kids loved every moment and in the chaos of 30 4-5 year old, some younger and older siblings and a load of parents, they kept it fun and entertaining throughout, giving my daughter a day to remember! The care and attention given to make her feel special was all I could ask for as a parent. They included so many of the kids in experiments as well and kept their attention for 1.5hr!! Very impressive! The rockets and slime were the highlight followed by the smoke rings and blowing out the birthday candles with Atomic Alex! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making her day ever more special! I'd recommend to everyone!! Happy Valentine's Day ❤️

Disappointed unfortunately
We had our party with them today. Although the concept is good, the delivery was lacking. I feel so mean saying this, but the entertainer was lacking in enthusiasm and charisma, and the kids just lost interest. Within 30min they were all just wandering off and running around the room entertaining themselves. Giving every child a try at something when there’s a lot of them means the others just ended up board and chatting / doing their own thing. Incredibly disappointed given the price. We’d paid for extra kids who didn’t show up in the end, and for the extra package…which ended up being just a short game which most kids chose not to take part in by that point. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.
Update:
The company contacted to apologise. They recognise this staff member is new and may need some additional training to build confidence. They offered to refund the cost of those children who didn’t turn up and sent a gift as compensation.

Jurassic James!! Well what can I say!! From start to finish you were amazing!! I’ve never seen 24 children completely enthralled and well behaved as they were on Sunday 21st September. You made my daughter’s party and it was superb. And as for the adults. I’m not sure who enjoyed it more. The kids or the adults!!

For the SECOND time we were let down with no warning or back up .
Would NEVER book again , paid in full in March . Poorly organised and unreliable .

We’re genuinely sorry for the disruption and completely understand your frustration, especially given this has happened more than once. It’s absolutely not the experience we aim to deliver.
To clarify, the presenter was unfortunately involved in a car accident en route to your event, which was out of our control. We understand that, in the moment, this may not have felt believable, particularly given past experience, but it was a genuine emergency, and we’re relieved to share that the presenter is now okay.
As soon as we became aware, we arranged for another presenter to attend the second half of the event and also issued a full refund. Additionally, we made sure to leave 3 boxes of different Whizz Pop Bang magazines at the second venue for all the children to take home, as a small token for them.
We know that doesn’t undo the stress or disappointment caused on the day, and we’re truly sorry things unfolded the way they did. We’re reviewing how we respond to emergencies to ensure a more reliable experience moving forward.

Magical Midlands
Sublime Science took part in our STEM event for 6,500 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers and were a huge success. The activities that they put on for our Rainbows & Brownies (age 4 to 10) were extremely engaging, fun and educational. There was always a long queue of girls wanting to take part in what they had on offer.

Something a bit different
Made the party experience a breeze from start to finish. Helpful back office to guide you through what plan would work best and requirements. Presenter calls you pre party to run through what you can expect on the day and final details. On the day, David was amazing, kept a young audience of 5 and 6 year olds engaged and curious. Everyone kept telling me how much they and their kids enjoyed the party. Some of the kids now want to be scientists when they grow up. Would really recommend them for something a bit different.

Atomic Alex was absolutely fantastic
Atomic Alex was absolutely fantastic! We had an issue with the venue and had to relocate and Alex was super helpful and flexible, making sure the party could go ahead despite the setback. The party itself was brilliant, all kids were taking part, learning and having fun. It is not easy to control a bunch of 6 and 7 year olds, but Alex managed it with style and humor. Everyone loved the experiments and of course the volcano and slime were highlights of the day. Overall a great party and we had a very happy birthday boy at the end of it. Success!🙂

Not the best experience but updating review as management addressed concerns
Original review and experience
They sent 1 scientist to handle a group of 30 kids and she was most softest person. Despite having a mike she didn’t not wear it. When requested to wear, she says the parents are making too much noise and I must ask them to be quiet - how can anyone tell their guests at a party not to speak?
The kids were barely engaged. There was. Group just running around as the experiments were not at all engaging and for most the kids were just sitting and watching.
We had paid for 75 minutes but I had to ask her to end in 1 hour as it was bad.
Either don’t hire or make sure to test the person they send before the party.
Update
The manager did make sure to call me as soon as possible and hear out my concern. They also mentioned retraining the staff they had sent. She was very kind and seemed to hear my concerns so have updated the rating because I do understand running businesses takes effort and I don’t want to create a bad name for them. They must be absolutely great it’s probably just having an experienced presenter on that day that makes the difference especially with large groups.

Sublime Science Were Brilliant
Adamantium was brilliant! Tough crowd at a 1st communion joint party for 6 kids with their associated friends and family. He captured their attention for the full time and everyone LOVED them.
The team ahead of the event were great. Very responsive and clear info.
We were recommended by someone who had used you before. We had a wide range of ages at the party so needed something that would work for them all.
Adamantium and the Sublime Science experience really fitted the bill. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Science party
We didn’t really know what to expect from a “science party” but it’s what our son requested so we went for it. From the moment of booking and through to the party itself everything was explained and organised for us - even a change of venue due to weather wasn’t an issue.
I was concerned that 75 minutes would be too long for 7 year olds to sit but I needn’t have worried as they absolutely loved every experiment. Our “scientist” James was great fun and handled the children very well. We would thoroughly recommend this type of party to any budding scientists.

Excellent kid’s party
We had our Sublime Science party hosted by Ionic Ibrahim for our 7 & 10 year olds joint birthday party who has so much fun and said it’s the best party they’ve ever had. 20 children were engaged, laughing and amazed for the full hour & a half. The experiments were simple but interesting and were supported by some cool science facts and great back-and-forth questions between Ibrahim & the crowd. Even all of the adults who watched said how great the experience was and how calm, fun and professional the show was.

Fabulous science party for all ages!!
Our daughter's Sublime Science party was fabulous!! The party host was really engaging with the kids, made silly jokes and kept it all really good fun, but also taught us all a few things! We had kids from 4 to 9 years old and they all loved it.
The experiments were fun for the kids and they got to join in with most of them, from making different sounds and learning where the sound came from, making their own sherbet to eat during the party, relay races with spinning liquids and their favourite bit making slime with silly names like minion poop and smurf snot.....they just loved it all and a few kids have already said they want a science party next time!!!

Do NOT hire them!
Well, the entertainer for our party rocked up 50 minutes later than he was meant to! Apparently he turned up at the wrong address. Apologised briefly, shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do about it. We had 20 kids who had been running around the place, trying to amuse themselves for nearly an hour before he arrived; the result was a group of overtired, hungry and really difficult to control crowd! The ‘experiments’ themselves were not anything to ride home about. The entertainer had only 10 minutes to set up when he normally would have taken half an hour.
Kids were fed late as a result, party finished late and we only had 20 minutes to clear the hall afterwards.
Absolutely do not waste your money on this company!!!
