Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I bought this hoodie as a birthday present for my daughter, but the star appliqué started lifting away from the hoodie.
I contacted Subdued and they initially acknowledged the original item as a failed item and sent a replacement. Before the replacement was sent, I specifically asked them to check it carefully because I didn’t want the same problem again.
Unfortunately, the replacement arrived with the same issue. I provided photographs of both hoodies showing the star lifting away from the fabric.
Subdued’s response was that the unseamed edges of the star are an intentional part of the design. I understand that, but that wasn’t my complaint. My concern was that the star itself was lifting away from the garment, which happened on two separate hoodies.
After several emails, Subdued maintained that this was not a quality issue and offered either a return and refund or a 20% discount on a future purchase.
Very disappointing, particularly as this was bought as my daughter’s birthday present. I liked the hoodie, but based on my experience I would be reluctant to buy from Subdued again.

Firstly they charge a monstrous £9 fee to return items and then, secondly, take 38 days to process the refund and that was after chasing twice on day 29 and 36!!!
To be clear, DHL returned the parcel in 2 days and fortunately I asked them for update emails as Subdued then tried to tell me they had received the parcel 13 days after DHL stated it was delivered.
We won't be buying from Subdued again.
