Misleading advertised rates vs actual rates offered

I contacted Stratton Finance after seeing their advertised rates around 5.7%. However, when I called for an actual quote, the rate I was offered was closer to 9%. This felt misleading because the advertised rate didn’t reflect what was realistically available. I expected more transparency around eligibility and real‑world rates. Potential customers should be aware that the rate shown online may be significantly lower than what is actually offered.
