This church is Homophobic
This church is a very homophobic church that doesn’t look after vulnerable people very well or doesn’t make them feel welcome. Instead it victimises & gas lights them, so rather than deal with the problem YOU become the problem & you are made to feel to scared in a place of worship because of poor safeguarding. I’ve had ignorant comments made like ‘oh you can’t get married here if you’re gay & procreation is between a man & a woman’. Its careless failings in its duty of care is also evident as the church looks run down & dilapidated with missing doors so there’s no space for quiet time to sit & worship. There seems to be constant failings & incompetency because the vicar & his wife have turned the church into horrible place to come & attend. The vicars wife is loud, brash & abusive poking there nose in issues that don’t concern them. I’ve had to make several complaints about this church to the diocese because of their behaviour in the past. Nothing ever gets done or taken seriously if you make a complaint. Therefore I can not recommend this church as a safe place to go. I would highly recommend other churches that can provide better support for LGBTQIA+ people.
