Had some damage repairs done, STEER were really prompt and made the repair booking and process seamless. They explained the time scales and clarified any queries I had. Post pickup of my car, I had a couple of glitches which STEER were so helpful to look into, didn’t have to book, they addressed my problems on the spot, and made me know I could bring attention to any concerns I may have even after completing their obliged input.

The staff were really lovely. Very helpful and courteous. We had a bit of a hiccup with the courtesy car, which was dealt with quickly. The repairs were done quickly and the vehicle returned quickly. All in all, a good experience with this company.

Would completely avoid.
My insurance repair took nearly six months due to missed damage during the initial assessment, repeated delays, and poor workmanship.
The car was returned to me with a completely flat tyre after being driven from Essex to Medway in that condition, despite me warning them beforehand the vehicle was not fit to drive. It then had to be recovered again.
As a single parent household, the experience was incredibly disruptive. A courtesy car was only provided once the vehicle had physically gone back into the garage, meaning there were multiple periods where I was left without any transport at all.
The vehicle later had to go back a third time because the bonnet alignment was unacceptable, and when the car was finally returned the engine management light was still on.
The lack of quality control throughout was genuinely shocking.

Picked up my car yesterday and it looks great. Unfortunately, communication was an issue. I had been given an expected date for completion, but received no phone call, message nor email to confirm, so I had to ring the bodyshop. I was told that the car was finished yhe day before, but needed to be tested and there was no indication of the time of day that would be done, so best to pick up the day after the expected date. On that day still no contact, so again rang myself. No answer, so left a voicemail. No call back after 2 hours so I went to the bodyshop anyway. 4 hours after my voicemail the car was indeed ready, but the guy there was wondering how I knew it was, as he could see that I had not been contacted. My insurance company suggested using Steer, due to good customer feedback, but this, for me, was spoilt by lack of communication.

The whole process of collecting and then returning my car was dealt with very efficiently and I was kept informed of progress regularly.
The repairs were done very well and completely satisfied with my car looking new again.
There was a slight delay in the repairs because of lack of mechanics but I was kept up to date about this.
