Useless

They would refuse to do their job, instead making me chase down other insurance companies, chase down police reports, and even once somehow prove to them my license wasn't suspended (I haven't had a ticket in 30 years!). Then, after I do all the work, they would call me to take credit and brag about everything they do for me. A waste of money. You'll end up paying and doing more than if you had no insurance.

State Farm has neglected to respond to…

State Farm has neglected to respond to my insurance agency for claim recovery from an incident that happen back in November 2025. I was driving for Lyft who insurance is State Farm when an arm length size semi tire hit the front of my vehicle while transporting a passenger. The tire tore the front end and front under body of my vehicle causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. I immediately reported this to my personal insurance who immediately responded and set things in place to have my car repaired. My insurance company reached out to State Farm who stated that I was not on the clock at the time of the accident when I was. I contacted Lyft to put in the claim with them. I have waited and waited for the claim to be settled and as of today it has not. State Farm has given me the run around and stated false statements when spoken to in reference to the claim. It seems that they are trying to find something so they can deny responsibility. They are very unprofessional and I would recommend that you not look their way for insurance… you will be very unhappy…

In my opinion state farm are thieves

In my opinion state farm are thieves. I had bumper damage and fender damage to my Honda and they totaled it so i asked for my car back. I had to fight to get my car returned. I was told they would auction the car off. When i got my car back and repaired it they sent the title but held back the bill of sale. In my opinion they did this to be nasty because they handle claims like they every day so they knew the bill of sale was supposed to be with the title. Then they said they can’t email anything, maybe they will mail it to me in a week.😡 meanwhile we’re at the inspection office and have to leave. I haveservice with Geico

Do NOT use State Farm!

Only want to pay a 1/3 of what the repair costs because they want to use aftermket cheaper parts. I pay PREMIUMS not basics. I want the premium part put on there not basic parts. Also been on hold for over an hour with no answer... Very professional.

I WAS DRIVING FOR LYFT WHO IS COVERED…

I WAS DRIVING FOR LYFT WHO IS COVERED UNDER STATE FARM. I WAS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT WHILE LYFT DRIVING A PASSENGER TO THEIR LOCATION. I MERGED ONTO A STATE ROAD HIGHWAY WHEN A ARM LENGTH TIRE FROM A SEMI TRUCK CRASHED INTO A FEW CARS IN FRONT OF ME AND THEN MY CAR. THE INCIDENT DESTROYED THE FRONT END AND FRONT UNDERBODY OF MY CAR CAUSING A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS OF DAMAGE. I AM COVERED UNDER MY OWN PERSONAL INSURANCE THROUGH PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE WHO I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED AND SUBMITTED THE CLAIM. PROGRESSIVE IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED ME FOR ESTIMATES, PICTURES OF DAMAGE AND THE AUTO SHOP THAT WOULD BE REPAIRING MY VEHICLE. PROGRESSIVE REACHED OUT TO STATE FARM FOR LIABILITY AND THEY DID NOT CONTACT PROGRESSIVE BACK. PROGRESSIVE ASKED THAT I REACH OUT TO STATE FARM WHO DIDNT CONTACT ME FOR OVER A MONTH. I SUBMITTED THE CLAIM TO STATE FARM WHO HAS YET TO CONTACT ME FOR REIMBURSMENT. THIS HAPPEN BACK IN NOVEMBER 2025 AND REPAIRS TO MY VEHICLE WAS COMPLETED IN DECEMBER 2025. I HAVE CONTACTED STATE FARM MULTIPLE TIMES TO CHECK THE STATUS OF THE CLAIM AND EACH TIME I AM GETTING A DIFFERENT STORY AS TO WHY THE CLAIM HAS NOT YET BEEN HANDLED. STATE FARM IS AVOIDING TAKING CARE OF THE CLAIM BUT HAS NO GROUNDS TO AVOID REIMBURSEMENT. I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT HAVING STATE FARM FOR ANY INSURANCE AT ALL. THEY ARE QUITE UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAS NO REGARDS FOR TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

State Farm is the WORST car insurance…

State Farm is the WORST car insurance company I know. I was in a terrible accident where THEIR insured rear ended me and now State Farm won’t pay for my medical bill I incurred because I got a brain injury. I have an attorney trying to get them to pay but they are dragging this out for almost 2 years so far. 5 years ago my daughter was also hit by a driver who was insured by State Farm and they also dragged it out over 2 years! They make so much money charging their drivers but when it it time to pay out for their drivers accidents they are the WORST TO DEAL WITH! They are CROOKS!!

Top tier service

So let me tell you about Alicia at State Farm. First let me tell you what brought me to call. I wanted to cancel the insurance on my vehicle due to it being broken down. That was my MAIN objective. So after talking with her about canceling and getting something different, she not only gave me a better quote than what I have been paying. She was so sweet and helpful with such a positive and warm attitude and soothing voice! AND she saved me from doing something that would have hurt my insurance history. So as I said my main objective was to cancel insurance. So when it came time to cancel I asked if it was possible to do today. And she said yes but then recommended that I DO NOT cancel outright and to wait to just swap over the insurance when I got my new vehicle. As she explained to me that it would affect my insurance history and raise the price of any future policy’s I may have in the future. So when I say GO TO STATE FARM AND ASK FOR ALICIA.. YOU RUN TO STATE FARM AND ASK FIR ALICIA!!! She is truly a godsend and she returned my call with an absolute quickness. Top tier woman. And a top tier company!

Me and my bf were in his car and we ran out of gas. We called and they said they would be there in an hour. We waited 3 fricken hours for gas. I kept calling and they wouldn’t update me if when the guy was coming. They made me still pay for the gas after waiting 3 hours! They suck!

I went with State Farm about a year ago because I heard they were a good company

I went with State Farm about a year ago because I heard they were a good company to use. In the 6 or 7 months that I have used them, they have gone up on my rates twice. The 1st time for around $50 and this last time for over $100. When I asked them why they said I had a claim last year but the only thing I had them do was come air up my tire when I had a flat. That's supposed to be free

Garbage company

I used to be a State Farm customer. Super glad I left. Their rates are astronomical and their service is garbage. Recently had my neighbor crash into my porch. Been trying to deal with State Farm for over a month to get the damage paid for. They keep giving me the runaround and saying he's not answering the phone and they're trying to call him four times. It doesn't take over a week to call a guy on the phone. Do not recommend to anyone. Calling an attorney and getting ready to sue.

Have a lawyer on your payroll before buying their policy

This company is going down the drain. If you expect to have a peace of mind, this is not the company to deal with. If you expect simplest and smallest of your claims to be approved, make sure there are no drywalls or ceilings in the house just so that you can see the first drop of leak. Slab leaks are not covered so your piping has to be like a third world country so piping is outside and visible. It will also be necessary to keep a lawyer on your payroll as you are expected to understand what their policy docs say.

State Farm's client is at fault in an…

State Farm's client is at fault in an auto car accident and destroy my car. Claim was filed on the date of accident. But no one ever contacted me for the status of the car. I was only told by my own insurance co that it is a total loss and State Farm will take care of it. It has been 12 days and they have the car but no one from property damage department has ever contacted me. I was told by their Injury department that the property loss claim person is out for 2-3 weeks. Yet no one covers for her. In the meantime, my rental car period is running out. I cannot get another car until I get the payment from State Farm.

Probably the worst insurance company out there. They are not insuring your stuff. Its that simple. They do not insure your stuff. They say they do, but they do not. Never trust anything you own with state farm, seriously, they will screw you over

Rate increase for no reason

Been with StateFarm for only 3 months and already the rate was increased by $90/month. No tickets or accidents. Should have read the reviews before signing with them. Customer service was terrible and they couldn't explain why the increase and even cared that I wanted to cancel.
