Three times now I've order something…
Three times now I've order something only to sit and wait an hour and suddenly get Cancelled so it's a totally pointless service and as for the contact us for help, the most indifferent, couldn't care less, just plain rude at times attitude you're lucky if you get a we apologise at best, that's about as good as it gets. Stupid service which I won't be using in future.

Starship are Thieves
Starship are thieves. Just because it's in your terms of service, doesn't make it ethical.
Be sure never to miss a delivery from Starship, because they will keep your money for themselves.
I had an emergency and had to step out which means I missed the robot and when I contacted customer support I was slapped with the terms of service link and told that they will not refund the items.
Now I can understand not refunding for the service, but the grocery items went back to Coop and were packed back on the shelves and yet Starship keep the total costs of the items for themselves and refuse to refund it. How is that right?
So once again, the consumer is the only person who ends up out of pocket while the big rich thieving companies keep pocketing the money.
I knew I shouldn't have been supporting another greedy company, but lesson learned.
Never again.

We live in Grange Park, Northampton, and while the robot is always punctual and there are never any substitutions, the website is dreadful. A couple of years ago it was functional, but now it’s an absolute shambles. The layout of the categories makes no sense (why are there three categories for "ready meals & soups"?) and the search function is practically unusable. Whoever designed this needs firing, I’m convinced my six year old could build a better site.
I love these little robots
They're so sweet. But they do need a better way to cross the road! Mine waited by the junction for ages and no cars allowed it to cross - really sad. But it persevered bravely and arrived on time. Very fun, and works smoothly. I think they're great! They just need places for them to cross the street as the traffic in Milton Keynes is bad.
Used to be good - now its awful
Late deliveries constantly. Overpriced mark up. Delivery fee is now more than competitors (Deliveroo, Just Eat etc). Support stuff are incapable of following their terms of service and will happily act illegal for the company.

I've used Starship in Broughton
I've used Starship in Broughton, Milton Keynes many times, and whilst the service is not perfect, it can be OK. However, in recent months it seems to me that Starship have not only I increased the delivery charge, but they are also adding a surcharge onto the items that you buy. This could be just about acceptable in some circumstances, but when the delivery is late, or wrong items are delivered, they need to take ownership of that problem and fix it. But for me the last straw came when the app said that the robot was waiting outside my house, and when I went there, it was nowhere in sight. I contacted the customer support whom seemed very disinterested and they simply told me to step further outside and suggested I walk around to find it. I was actually standing innthe middle of the street when I took pictures from the front of my house, then left looking down the street, and then right. The robot was nowhere in sight. Despite this evidence the customer support said that their GPS was never wrong and if I didn't collect my items then the order will be cancelled with no refund given. When the order was cancelled, I saw the robot pass my house on the way back to the store. I immediately contacted customer support and told him so he stopped the robot in the next street and asked me to get my goods. I told him that I paid for delivery, not to have to chase a robot. He could easily have turned the robot around as I could see it in the distance but he nonchalantly chose to continue returning the robot to the store instead and said that I cancelled the order. The attitude of the support staff was very disinterested and passive aggressively rude. He certainly gave me the impression that I was in the wrong rather than the robot not being where it was supposed to be, and so this was all my fault. I get it that mistakes can happen, this is frustrating and can be accepted. What I will never accept is rude customer support so for this reason, after five years of using Starship Robots, I decided to delete the app and never use them again. TBH: the small gain using the delivery service is not worth the overpriced hassle and rude customer service
Terrible service
Terrible service, waited for over 2 hours for a delivery when on the app it said delivery time 15mins, contacted the customer service they said I will contact the merchant for you, they’ve got my money and said it was out of stock when they closed, it wasn’t out of stock at all they just wanted me to cancel the delivery.
It’s a disgrace they’ve taken my money and they don’t care.

Customer service is a joke
Customer service is a joke! Staff are so rude especially Sandra. Take your money then you have to fight for a refund. Avoid at all costs. Emailed head office no response. Gone down hill in the last 6 months.

usually get a notification when the robot is near no notification no robot either but got a text saying my order was cancelled and wouldn't get a refund decided that was not acceptable and that not giving me my food was theft went down to the store and waited for the robot to come back and unlock so I could get my food the store was very helpful couldnt fault them but the online robot chat absolutely disgraceful
Customer Service Lying and withholding refunds
Waited over 80 minutes for no change in status on the order so requested a cancellation.
They then told me not possible as the order was prepared and on it's way.
Having requested the cancellation, I then drove to the shop and saw the robot waiting outside not packed. I bought all of the items myself and then received further notifcations to say it was now on it's way and I followed up in the chat and they said the order was fulfilled and would not issue a refund. I couldn't receive the order and it showed as cancelled and the service agent still said no refund. Not received goods, as there records show, and no items received - I lost £28 . absolutely disgraceful customer service and ,companies relationships with merchants.
Rubbish app, can not use service.
We've waited ages (and a few emails sent) to finally be in the delivery area for Outwood Co-Op Wakefield it quite clearly shows our address within the highlighted area. We've had flyers through the door announcing "Starship is here use our service blah blah blah". Go on app, put pin on our house. Confirm. It tells me our address which is wrong and then moves the pin to the centre of the park/green area opposite our house ! So I move the pin to end of our drive, again wrong address comes up, confirm then says there are no merchants in our area !! So contacted twice via chat. Get told the store "throttles" the delivery area so they can manually reduce the size of it when they are busy. I've checked every day since and get same message. I know they are not busy because when I drive past there are 5,6,7 robots parked outside doing nothing. Would really like to try this but cant. I am sticking to Deliveroo. They dont seem to care they are losing revenue.
