Bad customer service

Sad to say that I didn't like the way this staff/manager named lorie in (Starbucks Alkout seaside) handled our order. Today I used my 50% discount from my app and when I finished ordering and ready to pay I was shocked to see my bill, it exceeded our expected amount. When I asked her if she punch tall size, she said that only the large size is included in the discount and it cannot be undone since the drinks were already prepared when it isn't. I don't want to make it a big deal but for the awareness of her behaviour towards customer in the future.

sincerely,
Angel

The "Value for Money" Complaint

I’ve been a regular, but I’m really starting to feel like Starbucks isn't worth the price anymore. I ordered a standard latte, and after being charged extra for a simple syrup swap and non-dairy milk, the total was nearly $8. For that price, I expect perfection, but the drink was lukewarm and mostly foam. It’s hard to justify these prices when local coffee shops offer higher quality and better service for less. I really wanted to like it, but the value just isn't there anymore.

Starbucks…Haymarket Norwich

I have been going to Starbucks Haymarket in Norwich for years but for the last 3 or more months the dishwasher has been broken. They sent a repairman 5 times and he never fixes it. All the money Starbucks makes they should put a new one in. I myself and others hate drinking out of paper cups and the money wasted on these.

Starbucks is easily my favourite coffee…

Starbucks is easily my favourite coffee spot — yes, it’s a little pricey, and occasionally the baristas don’t get it quite right, especially through Uber Eats where you can really taste the difference. But we’re all human, and overall I’m still a big fan of Starbucks.

love the coffee, the seasonal changes, and the rewards you build up over the years. I’ve been a Gold member for about five years straight, and it’s been worth it

I especially want to shout out the Barry store. Sure, I’ve had one or two mix‑ups with drinks, but I’ve also had them happily remake something for me when I forgot to say iced and ended up with a hot mocha. Their customer service has always been spot on.

The only real frustration is that the drive‑through seems to get priority over customers inside. We’ve seen it a lot — people in the drive‑through getting served much faster than those waiting in the shop. I once waited 20 minutes inside while three cars pulled up, ordered, and drove off with their drinks before mine was even started. Because of that, I’ve started using the drive‑through myself since it’s consistently quick

Other Starbucks stores have given us much better in‑store experiences, but regardless, I still love Starbucks coffee and keep going back.

This is the worst Starbucks

This is the worst Starbucks. I have ever been to in my life. The staff did their best to ignore the customers one of my drinks was lost. Both of my drinks was made wrong. I waited at least 40 minutes for my drinks and they taste. They're horrible. I spent $26 at this store. So I've received the worst service ever. I go to this store every day. Me and my daughter, I will not be back after this experience. Please work on a new staff this store is located in brooklyn on broadway. And marcus garvey the store number is 5 0 6 2 2 is staff always looks like they do not wanna be there. They are not friendly. If I could, I'd give one star.

If I could, I'd give one star. I visited the coffee shop at 455 Main St, New York, and ordered a simple cappuccino. Unfortunately, after drinking it, I became ill and experienced diarrhea. The milk in the drink did not seem fresh, which may have contributed to the issue. This was a disappointing experience, and I hope the store reviews its quality control and food safety procedures to ensure customers receive fresh products.

10am at the store in Sainsbury’s Llantrisant. Dreadful. Just waited 15 minutes for a latte. The queue behind me was maybe 10-12 people but barely anyone in front. Only 1 person serving while another member of staff emptied bins/busied with ice refills etc.

HOSTILE, AGGRESSIVE, OBNOXIOUS, UNCONSTITUTIONAL CONDUCT by Starbucks employee

HOSTILE, AGGRESSIVE, OBNOXIOUS, UNCONSTITUTIONAL CONDUCT by employee SAYF AUSTIN at this Starbucks location. If placing an order here, please know that this location almost never picks up the phone, as they did not answer calls for 5 days until a store manager picked up the phone today.

The female manager who answered the phone on June 2, 2026 at 12:43 PM MST was extremely unhelpful, dismissive of the conduct below, and hung up the phone without identifying themselves. It is unknown if this manager is Sayf Austin, the employee in question who appeared to violate the rights of a citizen on a public sidewalk. The phone number for Starbucks Corporate is 1-800-782-7282.

In May 2026, a travel channel journalist was on the public sidewalk outside of this Starbucks location at 250 Columbine Street in Denver, CO (Cherry Creek) taking photos and videos of the area. The journalist never entered this Starbucks at any time, and he was minding his own business on the public sidewalk. Sayf Austin, an employee of this franchise, approached the journalist. She repeatedly issued directives for the journalist to stop recording and taking pictures of the establishment and the customers. As shown in the video, Sayf was unnecessarily hostile, aggressive, and obnoxious to the journalist who was minding his own business. With these demands, Sayf Austin and the Starbucks Corporation appeared to violate the constitutional rights (First Amendment) of this citizen who was on a public sidewalk.

We attempted to contact three Starbucks franchises in the Cherry Creek area of Denver. This particular location (250 Columbine St, Denver - (303) 333-3473) did not pick up its phone for 5 days.

Phone calls were made to Starbucks Corporate (1-800-782-7282) in an attempt to receive clarity on the matter and find out if they condoned the conduct of their employees to violate the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Phone calls were made on May 29, May 30, June 1, and June 2, 2026.

After 5 days, we received a phone call from Sam (480-708-1343), who is a District Manager. Even though Sam was fully aware of the attached video (she had already viewed it) and the conduct that had occurred, she did not accept responsibility for the actions of the employee. Sam openly admitted she did not know the difference between the public sidewalk and their private establishment.

When we asked if Starbucks would be issuing a statement regarding the incident, Sam repeatedly stated that they would be retraining their employees. She was very vague with her responses and was far more interested in ending the phone call. We requested for the situation to be referred to the Vice President of Public Relations and/or Operations, as Sam did not provide any clarity or interest in fully resolving this serious matter.

Please note that Good Citizen Press is not "doxxing" anyone at Starbucks. Sayf Austin made her own choice to provide both her name and email address to Amagansett Press as he was video recording their interaction. Information about constitutional rights is listed below:

1. First Amendment: Freedom of Speech, Press, and Gathering Information

Federal courts have repeatedly held that the First Amendment protects not only the publication of information, but also the act of gathering it. That protection generally includes photographing and recording matters visible from public places.

2. Public Sidewalks Are "Traditional Public Forums"

Public sidewalks, streets, and parks receive the highest level of First Amendment protection because they are considered traditional public forums. Government restrictions on expressive activity in those places face the strongest constitutional scrutiny.

CLOSE SHOP

I WOULD NOT GIVE ONE STAR IF I HAD A CHOICE! I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF BUYING COFFEE THAT I CANNOT DRINK BECAUSE THESE IDIOTS WHO DECIDED TO BEG FOR A TIP AT THE DRIVE-THRU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO OFFER A COFFE PLUG TO PLUG THE HOLE IN THE LIDS TO PREVENT COFFEE FROM SPILLING ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE CHEAP CUPS THAT THE COFFEE IS SERVED IN IS NOT STRONG OR STURDY TO HOLD THE LIDS. THE LIDS POP OFF WITHOUT WARNING AND THERE GOES YOUR COFFEE...EVERYWHERE BUT IN YOUR MOUTH. I WILL NEVER GIVE STARBUCKS ANOTHER PENNY OF MY MONEY. I'M REACHING OUT TO ALL THE ACRONYM AGENCIES...BBB, FBI, CIA, NBC, ABC, WSB, CMB, L-A-W etc. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT THIS. THERE IS NO REASON WHY STARBUCKS OWNERS CAN'T SERVE COFFEE IN CUPS THAT HOLDS HOT COFFEE WITHOUT ACCIDENTS. PLEASE CALLED MCDONALD'S CHICK FIL A OR SOMEBODY TO GET HELP ON WHAT PROPER CUPS YOU SHOULD ORDER TO SERVE YOUR GUEST!

I went to my usual Starbucks

I went to my usual Starbucks. Usual as in I go there 2-4 times a week. And I buy my beans there as well. Today I went in to get a cup of water. The shift supervisor asked if I had purchased today. I said no, but the drive through people know my order by heart because I am here so much. The supervisor responded with, "if you didn't buy today, no water today. I called corporate to check the policy and after taking my information and checking to see if I was a regular, which corporate confirmed, I was told NO WATER FOR YOU. Clearly that cup of water means more to them than a regular customer. With the economy the way it is right now Starbucks was my only treat. I will be buying an espresso machine and treating myself at home.

DO BETTER STARBUCKS.

Horrible change to their chai tea…

Horrible change to their chai tea latte!! I used to get 2-3/week, now not drinkable after the recent recipe change, & having to pick sweetener. Varies the 3 times tried. 1st was so bad I thought they made it wrong & threw it out. Even tried to add vanilla instead of std sweetener (per Barista recommendation). Horrible AND THEY ADDED OVER A $1 to what was no charge before. I’m done & now saving $20/week!
Bye, bye Starbucks!

Poor eco Lids…

In the UK Starbucks started using eco friendly lids and they are terrible.
Soon as hot liquid touches the sip point it warps n breaks so instead of a nice coffee or tea you get flakes of paper breaking off. Really puts off their product.
