Visited the STARBUCKS at S Main &…

Visited the STARBUCKS at S Main & Buffalo Speedway this morning and did not appreciate the customer service when ordering. The manager owed me a free coffee from 2 weeks ago and I told the person when placing my order and he said the manager wasn’t there and asked when did this happen and then said, ‘ that’s gone/over’ and brushed me off pretty abruptly and proceeded with my order! I spoke with him at the window and he still had a brush off attitude as though it irritated him that I asked for my free coffee. He did honor my fee coffee but he was just not pleasant at all, no smile, no greeting and I guess he’s just there for the job instead of serving others!

When you work in serving the public in any capacity, please treat others how you want to be treated! Builds business! People return because they like the service and how you treat them!

Snooty light roast pour over employees.

I wish you could keep a light roast coffee on tap/standby. You go to the cashier and they say we only have Pike and a darker roast. I say naturally you can do a light roast pour over. Then you see the cashiers snooty facial disposition. Then they tell you it will take ten minutes so you don't want to order it. The drive thru tells you to go park and come inside for a pour over. No tips for you employees of Starbucks is my policy if Starbucks doesn't make a policy to change the employees attitudes on light roast pour overs.

Don't waste your time or money

I received a coupon on my app that said $3 any drink. When I click on details (or maybe it said terms), it said valid July 1 & 2...See you tomorrow. So, I waited and decided to go the next day. When I got there, no coupon/offer and they wouldn't honor it. What a joke. The drink was made but I wasn't paying full price when you sent me a coupon/offer, so I left. They would rather have an unhappy customer and throw the drink away then sell it for the $3 like the coupon said that was sent to me the day before.

Newark, Notts, Market Place. AWESOME!

Starbucks, Newark Market Place, Nottinghamshire is a fantastic place to stop if you’re in need of a brew. Friendly staff. Fantastic service. Clean. Cheerful inviting atmosphere. Newark Market Place Starbucks is like a family-run coffeehouse, with a huge branded name.

arriving at the drive through in…

arriving at the drive through in Andover I was struck with that "awful" welcome that goes something like " how you doing today" .. the same question, time after time and its so "wooden" .. very typical larger corporate approach to tell the team members what to say .. its so old !! let them be real humans ! .. anyways, after ordering, paying and driving to the final window I'm met with a large S&C with no straw .. "ooh we have no straws I'm afraid" .. & with the window terminal unable to process refunds I'm asked to park and come into branch for my refund .. no straws - who's heading up procurement ?? have a word ! Hot day, no straws & 5-7 days to get my money back !

Starbucks

I love Starbucks, it’s one of my go-tos but the workers there aren’t the best. One time I was at a drive-thru and ordered a matcha because they’re one of my favourite drinks. However, the worker was this young woman and she asked “Would you like nnununu syrup?” I had no clue what she was saying so i asked her to repeat herself but she didn’t say it anymore clearly the second time. I asked for her to repeat it over and over again so eventually I just said no. Your workers need to be less thick and speak clearly because this happens quite a lot; some of them don’t even know the menu and ask, “What’s that?” When i ask for a drink. Anyway, enough complaining. But pleaseee bring back the cake pops because they’re the LOML. Your drinks are nicely flavoured, I like the range of frappuccinos and other drinks.

why do starbucks baristas put hot…

why do starbucks baristas put hot espresso shots directly into plastic cups releasing plastic microparticles into the drink +11 Starbucks baristas pull espresso directly into plastic cold cups for operational speed, drink quality, and consistency. However, because these polypropylene cups are designed for cold beverages, pouring near-boiling espresso (195°F – 205°F) into them causes a thermal reaction. This degrades the plastic at a molecular level, releasing hundreds of thousands of microplastic particles and potential chemical additives into your drink. The "Why" (Barista Workflow)Retaining Crema: Espresso is poured hot and fresh so it blends beautifully with ice and milk. Pulling shots directly into the final cup prevents the loss of crema (the flavorful golden foam on top) that occurs if the espresso sits in a metal pitcher and is poured later.Efficiency: Making iced drinks requires multi-step workflows. Pouring shots directly into the cup saves time and minimizes dishwashing (since baristas don't have to clean metal shot glasses after every single order). The Health ConcernsThermal Stress: The standard Starbucks single-use iced cups are made from polypropylene (#5 plastic). While they are rated to withstand some heat, near-boiling espresso causes the lining to degrade, accelerating the leaching of microplastics and endocrine-disrupting chemicals.Cumulative Exposure: Repeated, daily consumption of drinks where hot liquid directly contacts plastic increases your lifetime exposure to microplastics.

Congealed Milk Fat

I LOVE Starbuck's Caramel Frapuccino bottled drink. I have ordered by the case for 2 years. I have ordered from Amazon and Walmart. About 6 months ago, almost every bottle started containing these gross white balls. I Googled and it appears they are congealed milk fat and are due to improper storage, i.e. most likely too warm. Supposedly they are not harmful. They are, however, gross. I thought Starbucks should be aware that their retailers did not have quality control on their products. Tried Starbucks Chat. That was a joke. Decided to message them on Instagram. Actually received a response quickly. However, this individual suggested I contact PepsiCo as they are the distributor. Seriously? I don't care if Santa Clause is delivering their product, they are ultimately responsible and it's hurting their image. They should care and not sluff it off on PepsiCo. I'm so hoping they read Trust Pilot Reviews. Love the product, don't like that it's being compromised due to lack of quality control

What has happened to Starbucks?

I would say in the last year things have really gone downhill overall. My husband and I love dark roast. I can't tell u how many times we're told they're out so then I request a pour over. nope, they cannot do that because they're out of coffee. A starbucks is out of coffee. ????? Lets say in the off chance thats true. ok, first time but 5 times in a row? I had pretty much given up on the stsrbucks at the hospital. They never have anything. The starbucks on Harding highway was also losing ground but now they have a lovely girl at the drive thru. She was polite, happy and I was encouraged that maybe things were getting better. So second day in a row...We go unside. I'm pretty sure we have a super power of invisibility because no one could apparently see us. I saw the very kind blonde drive thru window girl at the window but they sent her on break. We watched 4 drinks being made, 5 people running around (not necessarily creating anything just there) and finally a girl ( without looking at us) mumbled we'll be right with you. Another 3 minutes go by. Two women walk in. They come to the counter and quess what? The girl who we seen busying herself (but not with helping people) walked up to them and took their order! Really? no one batted an eye or try to correct the situation. We decided we really didn't need starbucks afterall and walked out. No one tried to stop us. We never made a face, didn't act impatient, were dressed nicely.....like I said invisible. I would like to mention the girl who helped us at the window on 6/23. I didn't get her name but we came back because of her excellent customer service. I guess that won't be happening. There are a lot more places to get good coffee now. I'm sure when we're traveling we'll try another Starbucks and at the hospital one has no choice (although they have gotten a tiny bit better). Now if only they could understand that customers pay their salaries! So overall, very disappointing. My first time to walk out of a retail establishment. Sad.

Starbucks in Regency Square Mall in VA…

Starbucks in Regency Square Mall in VA wouldn’t not sell me a lemon loaf cake unless they open and put it in the little brown bag. Okay the customer is not eating it today so it will get hard. Customer has the right to want their item the way they want it. They are paying for it. if the customer took it in the brown bag and it got hard will Starbucks give them another one Shane ion you.
At least Starbucks in the Northeast Region gives the customer what they want. Pour customer service at Regency Square Mall in Richmond VA.

I like an occasional white chocolate…

I like an occasional white chocolate mocha, but it is expensive. I hate going through the drive thru and the first thing you see is the app. showing choices for a tip. It is ridiculous to pay a tip going through a drive thru, but I feel pressure to do so just looking at person holding it out in front of me. It is a ridiculous app. to have on there for a drive thru or a counter pick up. It keeps me away from Starbucks because I know I will end up paying a minimum of a dollar more because of the tip! They had much more business from me before the app. became a thing.
