Been using Drivepool for years now and once you buy a licence its yours for life, even with a change of hardware.
Just contact support and they will keep you running. They are very attentive and want to please

Drivepool = Raid without the speed but few of the inherrant dangers or hassle of setting up you just pool drives together of any size in a giant pool and each drive stores whole files not bits so if something happens the drive may still be ok even so, you can assign a drive letter or take the drive out and copy the contents as if it were any other drive at any time

The initial setup is slow if you are copying alot of data to it as it only runs at the speed of the drive being copied to.

DrivePool by StableBit is SUPER software I noticed I've been using it for 7 years when I purchased another license for another computer the other day and they gave me a discount. Cool company, but even better software I used another storage pooling software (Drive bender) for 2+ years before I found DrivePool when I moved over to DrivePool, I found it much simpler & easier to manage and better file organization on the drives IF a drive goes down and if you have to fixes things or check what is missing, real K.I.S.S logic very easy and after 7 years I've had a few drives go down and NO issues in re-organizing the pool. Smooth, Set and forget Software also had some minor "user-related" issues and support were always on the job right away. Zero negative to say about Drive pool and Stablebit and after 7 years from a single purchased license, it's 5 stars from me.
