Was ok when we used it, and kids may have even learned something. Cancelling is a pain. We have cancelled and even got an email confirming cancellation, but the money is still being charged every quarter. No reply to our messages.

This app claims to be educational, but the gamification dominates over anything else. It's all about points, levels and, avatars, and more time is spent on this nonsense and on pointless videos and games than on learning anything. The makers of the app clearly aimed for addictive over educational. A massive waste of my money and harmful to my child.

Edit march: No solution. Last payment bounced back because they emptied my daugther account and left 8 euros in it. I received email, that because they are nice they will cancel this year!!!! Hahahaha my 9 year old has no money left! No emails that is cancelled either, no confirmation that my account has been cancelled. Worst company ever!

I had proof abonnement for six months in 2021 and cancled it straighaway as my daugther didnt like it and school doesnt recommend it.
Of course they dont know anything about it and proceed to take money for the last
4 years! Online cacellation is bullshit! It doesnt work!
The worst expierence ever and seeing the reviews i am not alone. My daugther didnt log in since 2022 and yet i pay 90- euros because their online system doesnt work. No emails since 2021 confirming payments or renewals, zero communications just quetlu stealing money from a single mom. Bravo!

I had a frustrating experience trying to cancel my subscription. The website’s wording was confusing when translated, and I ended up reactivating my subscription by mistake. Now I'm stuck paying until January for something I don’t use. The process feels like a money trap, and I’ll advise others to avoid this service.

We got Squla for our children to support their learning at Dutch school as we mostly speak English at home. It helped considerably but we kept to only 10 mins of Squla a day. Our kids told us often that they were about to learn or had learned what they were doing in Squla so was good to know the topics were tracking the education system.
One area i would like to see improved is the incentives program. Kids earn coins as they progress that they can spend in an online shop but the gifts are limited, sold out or lack imagination. I would like to see Squla connect with large clothing and toy brands and kid friendly events locations (laser gaming, trampoline, dierenparks) to expand the choices of gifts the kids can spend their hard earned coins on. At the moment the gifts and knutsel items available do not incentivise children to spend their coins.
Also, if your child does buy something from the shop you have to wait 30 days before you can buy anything else. Crazy.

This is must have learning App for every child who is going to Dutch school. Its scope is nicely curated with each Group. My 5 year old is enjoying with new words, she is learning pronunciation, learning with pictures, speaking with Squla. And my 11 year old is enjoying with the challenging course as per his Groep like topography, begrijpend lezen, aardrijkskunde, rekenen etc. And I have seen visible growth in his results at his school toets.

My children learnt a lot from playing squla, is also a fun and learning app for the kids ,I recommend it .

Perfect for the kids, we're expats and couldn't find something to encourage the kids to learn at home until we found Squla, highly recommended.

Squla has a nice playful way to teach your child by several Excersise where they can earn rewards and play games in between.

It has been really helpful to give our children that little push they needed and a year was sufficient for our little boy to get back on track.

Unfortunately we had some trouble initially logging in to our little boys account which was quickly sorted by customer service.

We didn’t realise the subscription would be automatically renewed. We still received a full refund after cancelling our subscription.

Overall it’s been a great experience and we’d definitely recommend Squla!!
