I recently wanted to upgrade a rifle and as per usual visited SGC. The staff at SGC, Dorset, are experienced, knowledgable, friendly and are consistently providing excellent service. They gave an honest appraisal of my rifle and a fair price. SGC is my first and only port of call for any sporting need, be it goods, advice or services, not to mention a chat over a good cuppa.

sportsman had my dreamline in for repair 4 times,,3 year warranty on fx,s got it back friday and have a guess was still leaking, been tolled if they look at it again will cost me,, wheres the warranty they say it has,,THESE PEOPLE ARE A TOTAL WAIST OF TIME, looked on youtube and they said things to look at and after all there bull..it was a leaking foster fitting,,

Great service from the Sportsman Gun Centre after ordering everything i needed to start home loading not only were the prices very competitive but the order was delivered extremely fast ( 2 days) even with standard delivery, highly recommended online service and great website.

I am probably the easiest customer for any gun shop having shot for over 30 years and usually know what I want and have done my homework before. However, I purchased a shotgun from the Sportsman Exeter and was served by Tom Jordan.
From the beginning, Tom was excellent, his knowledge was spot on regarding the gun and went out of his way to ensure I was happy. I didn't buy an £60,000 gun but the service I received I would have expected if I was buying a 60K gun. I will certainly continue to shop with the Sportsman Group many thanks Tom.

Ordered online a number of items. Unfortunately I received a wrong item. Great customer service advising to keep what I had received, as the value was very low and not worth the courier to return and they would send a replacement ASAP.

I ended up driving past a week or so later to visit family (3 hour drive) and popped in deciding to drop off the erroneous item. This was well received and as the original item I wanted was now in stock they actually handed this in person rather than posting it.

Looked at their inventory and have to say, was very impressed, lots to choose from and the advice from the sales rep (sorry missed name) was genuine and did not encourage me to spend extra, instead opting for cheaper brands that did the job just as well.

Ashcombe shooting ground is also fantastic owned by the same company.

I want to say a massive thank you to Emma Haines she has been fantastic helping get me my new FX Wildcat Mk3 after being let down twice by my local RFD. I contacted Emma regarding the issue that I had, despite their website saying the rifle was out of stock till October/November she did an amazing job and with in three days she had sorted out a rifle and had it on the way to the RFD. I took delivery of it this morning and I’m very pleased with it.

Thank you so much Emma you’ve been amazing with this you went above and beyond to help me it’s very much appreciated.

Having been a SGC customer for over 20 years, I am equally satisfied with my recent purchase order number 1000200953. They have always been competitively priced with actual stock available or accurate delivery prediction. I first used their Paignton store where fishing was on the ground floor and firearms on the 1st floor. In those days I was looked after by the owner, however additional staff have been trained to a high level of knowledge and I believe that this contributes to their success. Many thanks. The Sportsman Gun Centre at Wardon Hill, Nr Dorchester has always looked after my shooting requirements for years and their customer service is of the highest standard. However, Rob at the Claypigeon centre has really worked so hard with my guns recently and especially with my new Pard Infra Red sights. He has shown patience, knowledge and great diligence in getting the sights spot on for me and then taking the gun and zeroing it outside in very poor weather. Cannot thank him enough for all he has done and of course, Emma the boss and Andy for their great inputs as well. But Rob is the star for my shooting at the moment.

Arrived quickly, and as described, with good communication. However, not quite 5 star because I ordered 2 items and the website said both were in stock. I later got an email saying that one of these items was now out of stock. The claim that the item was in stock influenced my decision to buy these items from the Sportsman Gun Centre. What went wrong with your stock keeping software?
