Excellent service
I have visited Specfix on two occasions and been impressed both times. Quick fix for a very reasonable price. Would recommend.

Took my frames to be looked at Mike decided to take them in the back and put pliers to them before asking if he's okay to work on my frames with tools Mike then went on to Damaged my expensive frames.Rather than replace or give me money for a new frame Mike paid what he though was right for him as my frames had been used as glasses are there to be used I rather thought. Mike was only willing to pay a small fraction to what I paid for my frames and lenses disregarded me for 2 weeks with no communication.
You caused damage to a customers frame don't blame them you do whats right either replace or pay your customer for you're mistake.
My Frames were £260 and my lenses were £140 Mike was only willing to pay me £130 After Manny attempts to call in store and email.
Mike decided to take me serious when I had called police.
Still only paid me £130 for the damage he caused to my frames so now am in for a new from which will cost more then my previous due to my frames being discontinued and also a cost of new lenses for a new frame.
Thanks Mike for such appalling service
Mr Singh
The arm on my glasses broke and were only 6 months old . Spec savers would only replace the frames At a cost of £80 plus. Brought my glasses to spec fix on Tues , got a phone call Thurs to say they were ready. The cost was £15 . I call that 5 star service. Thank you spec fix
Having read other reviews of Spec-fix on here, I was very worried having already sent my Fossil spectacles for repair by post.
My concerns were unwarranted.
Sent the glasses by post on Tuesday, and they were returned by dpd, repaired, by 9.33 on Friday morning,
The repair was to a broken frame of the plastic glasses to the top of the right lens. I am very happy with the repair, which is almost invisible, and for a cost of only £19.98.
Thank you Spec-fix for a job well done.
Now 2 months after sending my Oakleys for repair I am none the wiser about what is happening. No phones answered. No emails acknowledged. No more Oakleys.
Disappointing to say the least.
Very disappointed. Sent a pair of titanium rimless spectacles for repair on 1 May 2017. The bridge had snapped and as it only consisted of a small bar connecting the two lenses and the nose clips I had expected them to replace it. Instead there was an obvious weld/adhesive repair carried out to the existing bridge. Total cost, including £4.99 for next day shipping was £19.98.
Whilst on holiday abroad in August 2017 they snapped where the repair had been carried out but fortunately I had taken a spare pair. I have now returned them to the opticians where I brought them from and they are going to replace the whole bridge for £25. I wish that I had done this in the first place.
Fantastic service - I'm absolutely delighted and hugely relieved to get my beloved Oakleys fixed! One pair had a single broken spring hinge and one with two broken spring hinges. But both had (very expensive) varifocal prescription lenses so I was very keen to get them fixed.
Their website quoted £19.99 for a single hinge, so I called and spoke to Maurice and got a great quote for doing all three at the same time. I sent the two pairs by recorded delivery and had both pairs returned inside a week by courier - faster than I'd expected and with very high quality weld repairs. It's a very professional job and invisible in normal use.
Thank you, Maurice and Specfix! I'll certainly come back if any new glasses break.
It is always really difficult to find reliable companies especially on line. Unfortunately I was taken in by them promising everything. So I sent off my Ray Bans sunglasses for repair. This was FOUR MONTHS ago. They don't bother to return my calls or my glasses. Very very disappointed with their deceit and theft. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AVOID THS COMPANY.
Sent my glasses with broken spring clip for repair.Glasses returned with old clip glued together. This is not what I would call an expert fix, more a bodge job. My glasses will not fold closed either.I do not expect this repair to last long but Specfix have my money. You live and learn.I will not be stung by this lot again, make sure you don't either.
I broke my titanium framed specs. My opticians quoted "at least" £80 + VAT for a titanium weld to repair the break & I decided to bin these & get a new pair, but just before I did I looked online & found Spec-Fix. They were quoting around £25 (including postage) for the same repair - so I thought why not? I send these recorded delivery & Royal Mail shows they were received by Spec-Fix on Wednesday & they arrived back repaired on Thursday morning. Great service. Recommended.++++
I sat on my glasses and ruined the join and thought I would have to pay another £150 for a new pair. Luckily I looked online and found Specfix rang them up and they were very helpful. Sent glasses off next day delivery got to Specfix on Tuesday they repaired them and they arrived back Wednesday by lunchtime. If that is not amazing service then I don't know what is. Also they replaced the joints on my glasses with a better one that was stronger. The price was only £25. Fantastic company and now I don't have to panic so much if I break my glasses ( because of the prospect of shelling out hundreds of pounds and having to wait a week to get new glasses delivered) Totally recommended!
Can't fault them on price, quality or prompt returns service. Equally outstanding service whether contacting online or on the phone when dealing with a 'one-off' job. I've found them completely trustworthy despite the initial 'leap of faith' when paying for a service before actually receiving it. Brilliant !
Rang this company to confirm they would be open next day. They said they were open in the morning.
Duly drove twenty miles in pouring rain to find at 11:25 their shutters were down!
However, I could see through the shutters that someone was working in the back. I attracted his attention but he just waved me away despite the fact that I shouted that I had made an arrangement to come that morning.
He also would not answer the phone.
So make your mind up. Would you trust a company that waves away customers standing outside their shop, sodden, in the pouring rain?
Tried fixing my titanium glasses to no avail and found Spec-fix after a google search. Sent them off before reading any reviews but after a day decided to look into the reviews. I must admit after reading several on another website was a bit apprehensive as many mentioned having to wait weeks and received poor service. If I'd read the reviews before hand I might not have used this company! I'm glad I did!
Sent them off on a Wed and they were returned on the Friday! Couldn't have asked for better service and they have fixed them better than I could have hoped. All in all very pleased!
Sent a pair of my wifes spectacles to be repaired they rang me with a price which was even cheaper than the price I was looking at on their web page, such a moral and decent company.
