Account frozen due to false copyright…
Account frozen due to copyright infringement on music that I own the rights to officially. Support is none existent. They have tried automating critical support engagement with Al. Their copyright detection uses content ID so if you lease beats, find a different platform or prepare to have some of your rightful content removed automatically. They don't care to fix it, it just needs to exist as a feature for them to continue their distro services. If you ever run into an issue, you will likely be met with frustration. The website itself is riddled with backend JavaScript bugs and several features like 2FA are buggy. I would avoid SoundCloud and look for the next best platform for underground artists and listeners. It is clear the owners of SoundCloud want to autopilot the entire service with buggy AI implementation.
Im with everyone else
Im with everyone else. If u pay to subscribe, consider it a forever subscription cuz u can never find a way to cancel it, talk to anyone, no links or settings. Its pure bullshit!
A karaoke platform
Unfortunately SoundCloud is a karaoke platform with a very bad search engine optimisation which doesn’t distinguish between the real artist and the karaoke performer.
Non-functional and No support…
What kind of app has no "Settings" or "Sign out" functions and automatically logs you in through Google whether you like it or not? What kind of app doesn't even offer any kind of support? They deliberately avoid any kind of contact. It prevents you from logging in with their own login details. This means they can't access their library and playlists. The positive reviews for this piece of garbage are obviously fake since it is utterly useless and has no basic functions.
I have tried everything, from clearing cache, forcing stop and reinstalling. Your FAQ doesn't even mention any of these issues.

Pay for Soundcloud monthly but doesnt make sense and the service is so bad!!!
works very good but ads are a bit long…
works very good but ads are a bit long and much better quality than spotify (on some songs)
Terrible support, they ignore customers
I pay for SoundCloud monthly, but their support is just awful. My account has been blocked for over three weeks, and my music was removed from streaming platforms without any explanation. I have written to support 23 times, created new requests, and left comments on social media — no response.
I contacted Spotify directly, and they confirmed that the issue is on SoundCloud's side. But SoundCloud simply ignores users, even those who pay for their service.
If you’re thinking about uploading music to SoundCloud, don’t waste your time and money. They can remove your music without warning and then just not respond for weeks
[Update 05.04.2025]
It’s officially been over a month. No resolution, no real communication — just empty promises and silence. Support said, “We’ll fix this issue this week” — that was weeks ago. My account is still blocked. My music is stuck. No ISRC codes, no tools, no help.
This isn’t just incompetence — it’s disrespect.
SoundCloud has become a complete joke for independent artists.
They take your money, ignore your problems, and leave you shouting into the void.
This platform doesn’t deserve your art, your trust, or your time.
If you care about your music and your career — avoid SoundCloud at all costs.
SoundCloud is garbage
SoundCloud is garbage. There recommendation system only gives you a fixed amount of plays then stops. They didn't monetize my tracks after waiting weeks. The only people that seem to exist on this platform are promoters who highjack and hack your page to sell you fake engagement.
They are scammers
They are scammers. Don’t use them! They take your money without providing any service or support.
DO NOT USE SOUNDCLOUD
I deleted 6 years ago my songs through a distributor...Soundcloud still claiming my songs after 6 years!!! They will deal with a big lawsuit, I promise you that!
Unprofessional and Arrogant
SoundCloud presents itself as a great platform for independent artists, constantly pushing their Artist Pro program, distribution, and monetization services. However, once you sign up, you quickly realize that their promises are empty.
Despite being a long-time SoundCloud user, I have repeatedly faced unjustified rejections when trying to monetize my music. They always have an excuse, often based on false premises. One major issue is their lack of understanding of music rights and licensing. For example, they fail to distinguish between an original arrangement of public domain music and a cover, demonstrating a lack of basic industry knowledge.
Additionally, SoundCloud has an agreement with KODA, yet they have never reported my streams, meaning I haven't received the payments I am entitled to. This raises serious questions about their transparency and reliability as a platform for professional musicians.
Another major flaw is their AI-generated music accusations. I produce all my music in FL Studio using Native Instruments plugins, yet they repeatedly refuse to monetize my tracks, claiming they are AI-generated. Even after providing screenshots, proof of my licenses, and detailed explanations, they continue to reject my music with generic, dismissive responses. Ironically, I've had my SoundCloud account for over a decade—long before generative AI even existed.
If you simply want to upload your music for exposure, SoundCloud works. But if you're expecting reliable monetization and distribution, forget it. Their amateurish approach, lack of expertise, and dismissive customer service make them a waste of time and money for serious artists.
Where is the service
For the past year, I have never had so many problems with SoundCloud customer service. When I have a problem, whether it is a release or something else, I have no follow-up from them, as if there was no one working to help artists.
A recent problem: I have the entirety of an exclusive song that I paid the price for. When I sent an alternate version of my original song; "he said that the song sounds like a previously released one."
I know, it's my song, and that's why I sent you the License of the original because it's an alternate version.
F***, I hope the company improves, otherwise, they're going to lose artists and their distributor license if they can't fix their problem.
My Ticket number: 3443016
Waste of money
I made the mistake of paying for Artist Pro thinking I could monetize my original music. They rejected my original music, gave a list of "possible" reasons, and don't respond to inquiries about it requesting an actual explanation. Just took the subscription money and ran.
I didn’t received my earnings for 3 years
I didn’t received my earnings from the beginning of 2022 to the now. It means I did not received the earnings for 3 years. And have a thousands plays of my music every month. I sent a dozens of messages to the support for 3 year and they just replied sometimes with the same reply that they need time to clarify the issue. It seems they just stole my money. It seems they fraudulently appropriated my money. Many years ago it was a great service when they was a free service. After they became a paid service, it seems they just a scammers who steal artists' money. I think I will start a lawsuit against them. And it is going to be a huge fraud trial.
Charged twice for monthly subscriptions.
Charged twice for monthly subscriptions.
This platform had deleted my songs in…
This platform had deleted my songs in store which they took my money only without even telling me first hand if I violated there rules and regulation. as months passed my plays were reduced to nothing per day. and I didn't know that these guys will find fault of something just to remove your account. it is very disappointing considering i was with them for months and they treated me like this.
The support and customer service is so bad and a lot is there to tell. I really don't know which part of it tha tI have breached their violations when they just couldn't tell me. or at least send me a warning or whatsoever.
Kindly avoid this application this will cost you and it will just eat your money and without proper justification or reason they will then delete your song from music stores.
Don't Buy Artist or Artist Pro
Don't Buy Artist or Artist Pro. Soundcloud has turned into a scam company. They keep advertising services as Monetization and Distribution but they don't have the capacity to provide them.
Tracks are in review for months. The support is not existent and has been replaced by AI.
It's super frustrating and there are better alternatives online. Just don't use Soundcloud if you care about your mental health.
PS: Check Reddit or X. They are full of complaints every day.
Bad service
Distribution is apparently done by an automated process which isn't able to understand any artistic intentions behind naming of the tracks, artwork, and pauses/silent parts in the tracks.
Discrepancies in these areas can be grounds for rejection of submitted tracks, EP’s, and albums.
For example,
1) if one would like to use the word “by” in the name of their track, it will automatically be understood that the word after it is the author's name even if that is not the case. As for some reason it is forbidden to include the author’s name in the name of the track, which would be fine with any other distribution platform, the submission would be rejected, even if the “by” and anything after it is part of the track’s name;
2) for some reason, the words in artwork for your track have to correlate with the name of the track, which impedes seriously upon the freedom of authors’ artistic expression;
3) the submission system will change data in your submission without your knowledge – authors’ names, the fact whether the track is an instrumental track or a song, language of lyrics, and even the release date. In my experience, coincidentally or not, all of the unwanted changes have caused denial of my releases. Even after changing everything to as intended, the system would roll-back these positive changes to match the ones that would cause another denial.
The customer service is non-existent and has been replaced by an “AI” chat-bot. Writing to the one and only e-mail address that could be surmised from the site, would produce an auto-reply to bugger off. Writing to customer service via this chat-bot has never ended with a response even after a month of wait.
At times, it’s either impossible to log into artists’ section of the page or it would loop-back to another page, thus barring access to my account altogether.
Excuse that they are understaffed is immaterial. Don't fire live employees for AI- or whatever-powered garbage. It is entirely your fault. I am not seeking satisfaction of my needs I paid for, as I’ve since concluded my dealings with this business.
Utter shite
Utter shite, my tracks keep getting rejected for the artwork even though it isn't copyrighted and the support doesn't work, you just get a history of your last conversation with a bot and unable to log a ticket. Worst £75 I have ever spent. Coupled with the fact artists are not getting paid i'd stay well clear. Am going to cancel my subscription
Me as a disabled person…
Me as a disabled person with limited cognitive function are filled with dissapointment after reciving an enourmous invoice from Soundcloud after my attempt to unsubscribe. Not that I am only on sick leave but I also feel fooled. Shame on Soundcloud for not making unsubscription as easily available as subscription!!
