Honestly if anyone wanted to fit solar these are the people from stuart to Ashley and all the team an A+++++ effort

My first contact with Solar Dynamics(SD) was a phone call from Stuart. I had previous dealings with a couple of companies from Fife and he clearly knew how poor that was. The fact that he led with the names of the company and its “major actors” make me ask for the free survey.

That was the start and from there the service continued at that level. I am disabled and have a temperature related illness so reliability is very important. He quickly saw the value and applicability of the Gateway system.
The tradesmen followed in the same vein despite having to do all the lifting and shifting for my wife and I .
Very tidy work answered all our questions and helped us non techs to get online so that we now have access to the material, information which has not been available until now.
Well deserve the 10 (sic)stars my wife and I are giving

Came and sorted problems as quickly as they could. Spent several hours trying to resolve issues with software. Wouldn’t leave today until batteries functioning properly. Very friendly team and helpful. Fully recommended.

From a couple of phone calls with photos sent i was quoted what i thought was a very competative price. The panels fitted first than the electricians turned up to complete the installation. Everything went smooth and the install teams were quick and tidy no complaints at all. Good teams and good comunication through the whole procress. I would recommend Stuart and his team. No issues and really pleased with the finished job

We recently had a solar and battery system installed at our home in the Highlands and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Stuart came out to see us initially and took the time to talk through exactly what we were looking for. He looked over our electricity bills and usage and recommended the best system to suit our home rather than just trying to sell us something we didn’t need. We decided to go with the EcoFlow system and are delighted with it.

The service from start to finish was excellent. From our first phone call with Gary, to Ashleigh arranging the installation, everything was straightforward and well organised.

A huge thank you to the installation team - Dave, Logan, Cammy and Kerr. The standard of work was excellent, they were all friendly and professional, kept everything tidy and cleaned up after themselves when the job was finished.

Afterwards, Nicola sent over all of our paperwork and made sure we had everything we needed.

Really impressed with the whole team and the level of service throughout. It’s refreshing to deal with a company where everyone involved plays their part and keeps you informed from beginning to end.

Very happy with our new system and would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone considering solar.

During 2023 and 2024 we had 3 installations costing £34890 by Solar Dynamix (32 panels and 12 × 3.5KW batteries) all done well.
January 2025 I agreed a further £12000 installation, paid 6,800 deposit and made full payment at the end of March 2025 on the agreement installation would be quicker.
After over 20 failed installation dates, due to many varied excuses on 15th July 2026 Solar Dynamix agreed to refund my money. After 8 weeks they have failed to achieve their agreed refund.
I have contacted trading standards, Trading Standards were told refund would be madeW/C 17th August 2026 and 2 weeks ago I agreed terms with a solicitor in Kirkwall to take legal action.

The installation team were very quick and tidy. Had panels and batteries installed and working in just over 3 hours. Now drawing zero from the grid. Excellent service. And a good price too!

Great to start, competitive pricing and friendly, helpful staff, including Stuart the owner. I ordered equipment only from them, as that was all I could afford at the time, with the delivery date led by them. Stuart came good after 5 weeks. I still stand by this company, they are busy and in demand and I can see why. They really do offer a good service at a great price point.
The offer of installation support is above and beyond and more than makes up for waiting until they could get to me.

Great company to deal with. We had been thinking a while about solar panels and this company answered any questions we had which made us feel like yes this was the company to use, from day one all staff were polite hardworking and professional. They involved us with the whole process. The system is working just as promised , would definitely recommend this company.

Work carried out as arranged and both roofers installing panels and electricians installing all the cables, batteries etc were tidy and made sure everything was working correctly before leaving house. Stuart came back in afternoon to check on progress as he knew I worried about installation but no need to worry.

I got a full new solar system and battery installed all within a few weeks the office staff kept me informed and the installation team were second to none nothing was a bother start to finish I was thoroughly delighted with the service and the job the guys done was so tidy and to such a high standard! Recommend all day every day

I had a very disappointing experience with Solar Dynamix, including dealing with Ashleigh Simeon. Communication was poor, my concerns were not handled properly, and I was treated with what felt like complete ignorance rather than basic professionalism. I was told a refund would be paid, but it still has not happened, and I have been waiting since 2 June 2026. A matter as simple as a refund should not require repeated chasing, yet that is exactly what happened.
They are very quick at taking your money with empty marketing promises, but very ignorant and avoid responsibility when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, the service has been frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing.
An update on my case 25.6.2026
Refund never been made.
I cancelled my agreement on 2 June, yet the refund still has not been paid. Since then, I have been left chasing again and again, while receiving conflicting stories about when the money was supposedly sent. The company was very fast to take payment and make promises, but when it came to actually dealing with the refund, the communication was poor, the responses were inconsistent, and responsibility was avoided at every stage. In my experience, this is a company that is happy to take your money, but far less interested in sorting problems once they have them. I would strongly warn others to think carefully before trusting them.

Very happy with the service we received to upgrade our solar panel system. Everything was carried out as we were told it would be and we were kept up to date with things as they work was being carried out. Dave the electrician arrived ahead of time and started removing the old equipment before Cammy and Kerr the roofers arrived with the new equipment. Dave explained the new system and helped to download the app so we can check how things are working. Everything was cleared up and all the packaging taken away. Very happy with the work carried out from the initial visit from Stuart, the survey carried out by Billy, Cammy and Kerr and the installation by Billy, Cammy and Kerr and would definately recommend.

I had the pleasure of Stuart coming to see me to check out my existing Solar, he was honest told me about my system and what I’d need going forward. I was booked on via Ashleigh for Sunday 31st, Dave the electrician and Jason and John the roofers all turned up early asked if they could crack on. With in a very short space of time old off new on, Jason and John working great and in tandem no problems, Dave inside doing the electrical work. Total time start to finish probably 3hrs, very quick and clean. Dave got me on the all marking sure I knew about the app, what to look for and how it worked. Very good clean job by a fantastic team and company. I would highly recommend Solar Dynamix, from the initial phone call to the job brilliant. Thanks again.

We got Solar Dynamixto replace old panels with more efficient ones and pigeon proof them. Workmen were very polite and friendly. No mess,on time and finished promptly. Would recommend.

I had my yearly service and had already decided beforehand to replace my panels, as technology is advancing and I wanted the most efficient option available. This company uses top-tier products. I had my panels replaced along with Tigo optimisers. The entire team — scaffolders, electricians, and roofers — were excellent. The only disappointment has been the scaffolding which has not been removed for nearly a week. This is due to being subcontracted and a service third party provides. I have been chasing this with Solar Dynamix. It eventually got sorted.

Solar Dynamix are excellent cannot fault them. Thank you again, Stuart — you have a great team. Special thanks to Nicola and Ashleigh.
