Walked into the shop and was instantly kicked out after a popping bubbles as the bubble machine was running

Very disappointing experience at Smyths Toys Stockport.
I visited with my 8-year-old son to buy a scooter for his birthday. The store was quiet, but there were no staff available to help. When we finally found someone, she responded rudely and dismissed us when we asked if my son could try a scooter.
I then spoke to the manager (Scott), who agreed to arrange for my son to try one outside. However, after waiting, another staff member came and refused, then argued with the manager " scott" dosent seem have control over his staff Completely unprofessional in front 8 year old boy.
My son was left upset and disappointed. We left and went to Decathlon instead, where the service was excellent and we bought a scooter with no issues.
Sadly, I won’t be returning to Smyths Stockport again.
Awful Manager and very bad customer service by the staff .

I bought a child bicycle from Smyths Toys and they have given incomplete product as some parts of bicycle specially pedals were missing. To my surprise, instead of owning and taking responsibility, Smyth Toys customer care have careless attitude and even after 10+ mail exchanges or n number of chat or contact form filled neither they are picking up the bicycle nor refunding the money. Its shame companies like these are running scams openly.

You chose the worst delivery service. I only received one parcel, and DHL informed me that the other has been lost in transit. I’ve been left without any proper support—no phone assistance, just email communication. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be ordering from you again.

I’ve ordered off of Smyths Toys Twice now over the last few months.
The first experience, Toys arrived Broken & smashed,
I was sent out replacements because I did kick off regarding it being Christmas time but was told if this were to happen again i would have to return the broken items before I received a placement.

Now- I have ordered a 8ft trampoline off of them and have only received half of the trampoline…
Contacted them and was told it come in two boxes due to the size,
Which I completely understand but when spending this Much I do expect to receive the entire product.

The lady in a Friday afternoon on the 10th of April refused to help us .She was very rude and was not talkative

Bought plain black & pink roller skates for my 8 year old. They were only £24.99 so expectations were low but I expected her to be safe. Roller skate stopper came off on first try, then second try stopper came off & my daughter broke her tooth. Refund issued without hint of an apology. Skates were defective & frankly dangerous.

I visited the Colchester store on Monday 6th April and was helped by a friendly and helpful member of staff called Fran. I was there to collect an item that my daughter ordered but she gave me the wrong info. Luckily I was able to get the info and Fran helped me to get things processed and I was able to collect the item.
I have shopped in this store a few times as I have 2 small grandchildren, and I know I’ll be going back as they get older. The store looks clean and full of toys.5⭐️😃

I visit the Doncaster store to try and get pokemon for my daughter. The problem is that it's NEVER instock. I also check online multiple times a day some days. I have spoken to a colleague and he informed me that the manager buy the sock. This would explain where there's never anything here. I agree staff should be able to buy any product they want but should also make sure enough is left for customers, especially when is something so sort after.

Visited your Chelmsford store yesterday and Kerrieann who served us was so lovely. We'd taken our daughter in for a present as she'd had a had time at the hospital and Kerrieann served us with such joy and was so kind to our daughter it really made her day. Thank you so much for going that extra mile.

Sandra - at the west Thurrock location is an absolute angel, so patient and calm she made the whole experience better. Stressful payment issues were made simple and calm with her guidance, we love you Sandra.

If there was a chance to give even lower stars I would. I ordered online a large order (over £200) however two of the smaller items were missing from the order so reach out to customer service - took over a week to reply to first message and now offered a refund but banned me from ordering online again and only allowing in store purchases… safe to say never again!!!

I’ll spend my money some where that customers are appreciated and receive their whole order and aren’t punished as they’re not capable of putting all items in a box… not the first time I’ve ordered and items were missing!

I went into the shop and said I would like some darts and said I need to be 18 or over but why are there selling darts in a toy shop

Visited the Llandudno store. Service was fantastic, the knowledge that the young Lady had on the prams/pushchairs was amazing, Rose knew about her products. Nothing was to much trouble she was amazing. From start to finish she explained and demonstrated and at no time did I ever feel rushed, polite helpful couldn’t fault her. The young man Liam on the checkout was helpful, friendly, polite, and courteous again couldn’t fault him, and to James who carried the box and put it in my car an absolute Gentleman. What a real Asset to Smyths Toys. Llandudno Manager is very lucky to have you working there.

I have recently purchased a quad bike for my sons birthday and after building and trying to charge it found out that it wouldn't turn on im a single parent with medical conditions and they wanted me to take it back to a shop after me telling on email it wasn't possible for me to get it there they did say they would get someone to collect but needs to be back in box which ones the bike is built it's very difficult to take back down as some parts clip in and won't come back off without damage now they haven't turned up to collect the bike and im currently trying to get them to collect and get refund i can't seem to call them to speak directly and im getting excuses after excuses now

needed advice on what purchase was suitable for my needs.
was being helped by a young female staff who was very knowledgeable about product and helped me come to a decision.
before we could complete the transaction a male staff appeared completely undermined her and took over. He instructed her to go and collect item and asked me where my car was. I told him I was hoping for the free delivery offered as the item was very heavy he said ok and told her to take the item back.
He has put his name on my receipt as his sale.
very puffed up man completely disregarding my requirements as a customer and underminding who I considered to be an excellent employee. You will probably lose her if that sort of bullying continues. Very unusual to see a man mistreating a young female in this day and age. I hope you can change his poor attitude on respecting others.
