I've been using SmartyPlants for a few months now and it's made a real difference to how well my plants are doing. One plant that I was convinced was on its last legs is now thriving, and I've definitely become a much more confident plant owner.

Getting everything set up was straightforward overall. I did have a small hiccup connecting my first monitor to Wi-Fi, but once that was sorted, adding the rest was really quick because the app remembered my network details. It made setting up multiple monitors much easier than I expected.

The app is one of the best parts. It's clean, intuitive and gives you a simple score out of 100, so you can tell at a glance how happy your plant is. I also like that the same information is available in a few different places as it means I can quickly find what I need, however I'm using the app.

I find myself checking in on my plants regularly, especially after watering or moving them somewhere new, and it's reassuring to see how they're responding rather than just guessing. The sensors have also had excellent battery life so far.

One thing I really appreciate is that it's a one-off purchase with no subscription. So many smart devices lock useful features behind a monthly fee these days, but SmartyPlants includes the app without ongoing costs, which made it an easy decision for me.

The plant identification isn't perfect yet, but it works well most of the time and it's clear the team are actively engaged in improving it.

I often use the app when I'm out shopping for new plants to check things like pet safety, light requirements and how much maintenance they'll need before I buy them.

Overall, if you're someone who loves houseplants but wants a bit of extra confidence without drowning in technical data, I'd highly recommend SmartyPlants. It's an incredibly thoughtfully designed product with a great app and a team that clearly cares about making it better.

The sensors are very helpful, we are using them in several of our plants and they seem better. We are happy with the result

I paid for this product on kickstarter over 2 years ago and I have not received anything. At this point I no longer have any plants. I have asked for a response and I just get ignored. I’m not the only one who never received anything there are other people in the same situation. I want a refund.

Super responsive troubleshooting even on a weekend!

It does really well what's designed to do: alert you on the needs of your plants. My wife doesn't use much my smart home stuff, but this one she does a lot :)

The product works really well. I’m notified when my plants need attention and when the sensors need charging. Also costumer service is beyond. They always respond within a day and plants are added and problems are fixed within just a few days.

Could never keep my plants alive and looking healthy, wondered if these were a gimmick but purchased some sensors. The app is very straightforward and easy to use. Setup is quick. The sensors have made a huge difference, my plants are flourishing and healthy. You expect the usual niggles with a new product and I didn't know how to fix a minor glitch and emailed using the function in the app, customer services were prompt, friendly and followed up on issues. Everything is great. I thoroughly recommend this product, its worth the investment as replacing plants is a financial hit but I see this as a one off insurance policy!

These sensors work great. I get alerts whenever and wherever I am about the status of their health.

I had an issue as my phone didn't want to connect initially, and the response from Lily was instant. She was very helpful and explained what I needed to do.
It's in my peace lily at the moment, as its the most temperamental house plant I have!
I will say, it will stop some doom scrolling, as I check it often to make sure the plant is doing ok, and really enjoy when it says the plant is healthy and thriving! Its a real life plant tamagotchi!

After getting frustrated with another brand’s subscription model, I switched to SmartyPlants and haven’t looked back. With a growing jungle of 30+ plants, accuracy matters to me, and these sensors are far better than anything else I’ve used. The app is brilliant too. I bought the 10-pack and will definitely be buying more. I know you don’t strictly need one in every plant, but I love being able to see each plant’s individual stats! They’re also so much easier to insert than other sensors I’ve tried, even in a chunky soil mix. Great customer service on top of it all. Highly recommend.

What a great bit of kit supported by a great team. The sensors are great for fine tuning plant locations and identifying needs.

I did have an issue with an offline sensor, I emailed on Bank Holiday Monday expecting a reply in a few days, no, Lily came back within a couple of hours with a fix - fantastic work all round.

A little bit on the anxious side with daily alerts but it's great to have the data and see what you need to do (or not!) and get a feel for the mysterious rhythms of plant care.
As someone with a previous black thumb who's never managed to keep a pot plant alive, so far so good!!

Products arrived in a few days and they were easy to set up using the app, great sensors very happy so far, I will be purchasing another 5 pack in the near future

Great plant sensor! Gives you information on the conditions affecting my plant that I wouldn't otherwise have been aware of. Only been using it for a month or so but my plants are already looking a lot healthier, and one of them is sprouting a new leaf...

Manufacturer of smart plantpot sensors. Sensors are of high quality, work as planned, requires wifi connection and app, very useful. Connection of sensors to smartphone requires at least basic level of knowledge of smartphone use, but is not too difficult.
Good communication from manufacturer in case of any issues.

I am delighted with my Smartyplants sensors. after doing a lot of research ... I opted for these sensors over comperetors and Im soo glad I did. I purchased them 3 weeks ago and I got them charged and up and running. Two things that are fantastic - the sensors and the app.

Firstly the app - allows you to create a personal folder of all your plants which has all the information you need on each one to keep them healthy. Soo easy because all the info is pre-loaded in the app. This is great for all my plants ... including the ones that don't have a sensor. Ive 5 sensors and over 20 plants. The app doesn't require any additional cost to buy or subscription. it has a great library of plants already.... even good to look through when considering another purchase. Two of my plants were not in the pre-existing library, but there is a place to submit to have additional plants added ... 2 of plants were added with ease by the team at Smartyplants..... great service.

The sensors are neat and subtle and are easy to charge with a USB and connect to the app. They measure Temperature, Humidity, Nutrient, Light, and moisture - all that you could need

I love how the sensors and app work on WiFi so I can see what my plants are doing literally anywhere.... not just when I'm in the house

I plan on buying more - takes away the guess work!!

Smartyplants has easily been the best investment I've made when it comes to knowing how to care for my plants. I use my sensors indoors and on my balcony to eliminate the need for guesswork and to counter my inexperience. The team are responsive and supportive. I'm in the process of buying more but being able to move the sensors in between plants has been such a useful feature in the meantime. I can't recommend it enough!

I was relly excited to buy this product. It sounded like exactly what I need to keep tabs on my large collection of plants. I even emailed it to loads of of my family and friends who were also really enthusiastic and wanted to give it a try.

So imagine my disappointment when after 2
Hours of trying I couldn’t get the sensor to connect to my wifi.
No matter I thought one of the things I noticed was the promised fast human response to problem
Waited a day. Nothing. Emailed again. Nothing emailed again and I received a pathetic
Generic response that looked like it was AI generated… certainly it didn’t address my issues.
Sadly I’m done wasting my valuable time. If you. Can’t be bothered to help a new customer get started then you are not a company intend to support. Needless to say you won’t be getting any sales from my family and friends.

I just want my money back and nothing more to do with you.

If you don’t understand that you need to provide fast responsive customer service to help new customers get started then quite frankly you don’t deserve to succeed.

Brilliant product. Was sceptical in the beginning but cannot say enough how great this is. No more guessing and my plant looks so more healthier and happier. Thank you.
