First pallet of slates arrived with slates stacked properly on their edges with only a few breakages, a further 2 pallets arrived with the slates stacked on top of one another and as a result many broken, also broken as the slates were stacked over the edge of the pallet so when the delivery driver slammed his pallet truck in all the edges had been damaged. Slates cape asked me to unwrap the slates and sort through the slates and take photos so they could issue a refund which I did only to be told by Slatescape to package them all back up and re wrap so they could collect them all and issue a full refund which took ages and was very inconvenient. Slatescape made excuses and service was appalling please avoid this company

Slatescape appears to be the key supplier of slates to Roofing Superstore - so if you order slates through Roofing Superstore, they will actually be supplied by Slatescape. Or rather, in my experience, they probably won't be supplied at all, because the company seems to be completely useless (even though Lorraine in Customer Service does try to be very helpful!). I'm still waiting for my delivery nearly three weeks after the guaranteed delivery date. I'd avoid Roofing Superstore altogether until they've got a grip of their supply chain.
