SKIO Music Reviews 

SKIO music helped me a lot with learning how to remix songs. When I first found out about the website I was still learning about the DAW I use and I was still in the beginning stages In producing. Through SKIO I learned a lot about music theory because of the remixing and I learned a lot about mixing, how to use sounds and what style of music I want to make. SKIO is an amazing website and Even though I haven’t used SKIO for a while because I was too busy with my own projects I will come back if my own projects are done.

Skio has helped me grow as an artist by offering me opportunities to experiment and develop a style with their killer remix competitions! My music would have been in a totally different spot right now if it wasn't for Skio

SKIO Music has been a great platform so far. It has helped connect musicians from all corners of the world. It has a vast catalogue of sounds and remixable songs for instant inspiration. Remix and original contests hosted frequently encourage producers to display their skills and get feedback on their tracks from A&Rs.

However, the rating schemes of the contest entries need to be revised a bit. This is apparent from some great songs getting low scores and some not-so-good songs getting high scores. This thing has upset some old users already and they have either left using SKIO or are almost about to leave.

Just a small improvement in this part will make sure that SKIO becomes the biggest and most artist-friendly community in the world.

your website is very low, i don't think it depend on my connection, then remix contest, i think people paid for more their visibility, for me, if this is remixes the rules of the play your remix will the same for other, it would not depend for visibility, but for your creation

SKIO has helped me a lot in my music production especially in what to do and what not. SKIO has a great community and there are a lot of great artists. One thing that help me the most is by entering contest because it is where we can show our skill and what we want to do with our music. Getting feedback by SKIO A&R in our contest results is a very great way to improve ourselves in our music production.

SKIO is the one of my favs. Tons of great quality sounds, acapellas and awesome contests which can give indie or signed producers a push to a new horizon. Feedback and reviews of your uploaded tracks are also great feature that can show you how people are into your music or what they suggest to improve. So in couple words - this is a friendly community for musicians that once you join you never regret!

I rate Skio Music with an absolute 5 stars! When I began my interest in music production I had no idea where what direction I wanted to go. Then I stumbled upon Skio's site while browsing the net and was intrigued to see they were hosting a remix contest. I joined the contest and though I didn't win I was instantly hooked. The remix contest are a great and fun way to practice or brush up on your production, mixing and mastering skills. Skio is also a great way to showcase your talent as well as meet other artist with the same interest as you to gain great feed back to help you grow as an artist. The only issue I would would like to see changed is the ability to see how many followers you have on Skio Music, but besides that I highly recommend this site.

A new amateur producer like me had so many options for communities to join and be a part of. SKIO Music was brought to my attention with its wide array of remix contests. With a community full of producers and artists who are all different levels of experience, it was a no brainer to join and engage with the community. Although their plethora of remix contests sometimes runs dry, it often comes back with big artists backing them. With the option to get your songs reviewed by the SKIO team (who are all experienced artists with credible backgrounds) and their multitude of sample packs, SKIO Music is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

I think that the idea of SKIO is great and am having fun! Sometimes tracks for remix don't suits my taste so I gave 4 stars(I prefer more cool EDM stuff like Illenium). But this is just my opinion.

I’ve been on Skiomusic for about 3 years now. The remix contests have helped me get a much better grip on production, mixing, and mastering. The community is full of talented artists that share and help each other. The site has great staff that are very willing to help with anything. There’s some premium features that are well worth the modest price. It’s the only music community I’ve joined that I also stayed with. I go there at least twice a week. Usually much more.

Your interest for the SKIO community is noticeable, and I'm very grateful for that. Keep improving!

Skio music is a great place for producers and artists to explore other like minds. It’s great to help producers build on their skills as a producer or remixer. I enjoy both aspects of remixing and producing original songs. The competitions are great with the prizes that can be won as well as the recognition you can gain. However one aspect I do not enjoy is the switch from allowing certain songs to be remixed for free to having to pay for any and every song to be remixed. I understand that in the end it helps artist get paid for their work, but at what expense? For us underdogs that really want to gain experience and build on our skills, skio was the place to come to, now it’s hard to shell out a few bucks for a song that might not even work out in the end. Not sure if this will change but it is one aspect I do not enjoy about skio music. The sample packs are top quality too, but it would be awesome to have competitions using those sample packs, hold a competition where everyone gets the same samples, but see who can be the most creative or something. Andrew Huang does a good example, 4 producers 1 sample. I love skio and will continue to use the platform and give praise to it! Thank you for all the opportunities you give and will continue to give.

The SKIO music contests help keep me motivated and inspired to create new music. It's like having a collaborator, a jumping off point. It's difficult to create sometimes, especially when the tools of production leave you with unlimited possibilities. Having the constraints of a remix contest, or even an original song competition, can be the seed of inspiration you need. The samples are also top quality.

It would be nice if the ordering was working.

A great website for music artists with a nice rotation of different contests, sound packs, and other tools for making cool music! Highly recommend!!!
