Took the time to genuinely understand what I was hoping to find, and looked up a few different choices within my budget, and told me about what was best about those options. For Liz and her amazing teammates

This review is for Liz and her team who I have dealt with over the past several months prior to my Ski holiday with my friends.

Liz, you and your team were incredible. You were quick to respond, always kind and helpful and never had any issues with me asking anything I liked.

We all had such an amazing holiday. The Chalet was as good as the photos, and everything was planned to perfect.

If I ever need another Ski holiday, you and your team will be the first I contact.

Good service gone bad.

Over the years received very good service from SkiLine.
2022 seems to be a different matter. Numerous requests made for more information. Zero response. Booking elsewhere, and will save my efforts trying their service in the future.

This is a late review

This is a late review. We booked a family holiday and it was cancelled due to the pandemic. I understand that Skiline are agents and work with external
Parties which in turn presents a challenge. Anyway, Skiline worked to get our refund and they did despite the perils of policy etc.

Sorry for those that didn’t but I would consider the external agents too.

Ski holiday booked with Skiline

Ski holiday booked with Skiline. Cancelled by Club Med in April. Still no refund. One email from Skiline in 4 months to request bank details for a refund. That was 6 weeks ago and nothing has been received. Repeated emails requesting an update are ignored.
Covid 19 will not ruin this business, their disdain for customers will. I have spent in excess of £100k with them over the last decade. I will never use them again and neither should anyone else who has been held to ransom and ignored.

I had a package ski holiday booked with…

I had a package ski holiday booked with SkiLine. It was cancelled due to Coronavirus. I was told I would be getting a refund in March. Since then, they have replied to 1 in 10 of my e-mails chasing up, have fobbed me off, said they are not liable, tried to claim my contract is with another company, and generally ignored doing anything about it.

They also sent "update" emails where they basically said they are hoping to not have to refund people and are waiting for a change in the law so that they don't have to. It read like an internal e-mail but was sent to clients! Crazy!

Their attitude towards this whole thing has been terrible. I would understand if they asked for some time to supply refunds, but this company just does not care at all about handling this well.

Awful. Avoid.

In response to SkiLine's response:-

Their T&Cs clearly state that, sometimes, they are the operator. I was not informed that there was a different operator until after I paid. It is reasonable, therefore, for me to believe SkiLine to be the oeprator. On top of this, I was not shown the operator's T&Cs before paying. The aforementioned points mean the actual operator's T&Cs cannot be made part of the contract. This is a well-established UK contract law doctrine. Sadly, SkiLine are not well-versed with contract law, and kept wiping their hands clean of the problem.

On top of this, I contacted SkiLine every week for months to get information, which they did their best not to give. They sent out e-mails literally saying they hoped they would not have to refund clients. So the claim of protecting clients' money is a lie. I would be happy to share these e-mails for proof.

Ultimately, they refused to refund, and I was never offered a credit. I threatened to take them to court and, guess what? They refunded the same day.

SkiLine, you handled this all wrong. Do not try and get around it by pretending like you acted well and that you care. Other companies handled this far better - keeping in touch with people, offering credits, actually trying to refund people, and following the law. You just refused. Heck, you even admitted in multiple e-mails that you were required to refund people within 14 days but that you weren't going to. Oh, and get a proper lawyer to look at your T&Cs and train you that you actually need to tell people before they book if there is another operator for those operator's T&Cs to take affect, and that those T&Cs must be provided in advance.

Viewers - judge for yourself what you think of this company. I have the documents and e-mails to prove my points, as well as copies of all their T&Cs. But, take it from me - this company does not care about clients and should not be trusted with your money.

Its a shame this client didn't provide their name so we could assist further.

Sadly it is the case that some of our clients who booked a ski package where Ski Line acted as the agent, are still waiting for a refund.

In these cases its correct that the client's contract is always with the tour operator providing the holiday. Not the agent who sold it. Something this client hasn't accepted but will have been clearly shown in the documentation provided at the time the booking was confirmed and will have been further confirmed by the T&C's also provided.

Regrettably five of ATOL bonded tour operators we act for have yet to provide refunds. (I assume this clients booking is with one of these companies). Although all have now issued a "refund credit note" which means our clients money is safe and guaranteed under the ATOL scheme. Ensuring our clients money was safe became out top priority when we realised some tour operators couldn't refund immediately.

We fully accept all of our clients are due and are entitled to a cash refund. However the delays in refunds being provided is outside our control.

ski trip Feb 2020

Just booked a Skiworld trip for February 2020 through Karen at Skiline. The whole process was efficiently prepared. I’ve been with Skiworld several times previously and their resorts are always fantastic. The service that Skiline offered, matching Skiworld costs was impressive, and the quick communications was great too.

Their website is full of claims of service, price guarantees and quality. This holds right until you put it to the test when they fully admit their claims are untrue

Great Team, Great Holidays, Great Prices

We’ve been going on Skiline holidays for about five years now, and we’ve never been disappointed. Great staff, great holidays and great prices - would give more than 5 stars if I could! This year’s trip to Val-D’Isere was an absolute treat.

Brilliant highly recommended team at skiline

I have been using skiline for over 10 years and can't fault them. The staff are great helpful and have come up with the foods every time. Brilliant value, in some superb locations. I'll be booking our next trip through them without a doubt!!!

End of season trip

We have been using Skiline to book all of our ski trip with ClubMed for many years now and the service we have received has always been friendly and excellent, no wonder they won the 2016 World Snow Award. This year we went on their end of season ski trip to Val Thoren Sensations and we were not disappointed. It was great to meet the Skiline staff.

I have now dealt with Skiline for over five years ,their service is great coming back to me generally the same day with holiday options & we are already booked for December 2017 .
Have just returned from their end of season trip to Club Med Val Thorens Sensations ,plenty of friendly Skiline staff on hand to assist .

Great ski company

We recently returned from a fantastic end of season ski trip with Skiline to ClubMed in Val Thorens. This was our second trip with Skiline in the past 12 months. On both occasions, the service we received was professional, friendly and flexible. The holidays we enjoyed provided excellent value for money and we will definitely be booking with Skiline for next year’s trip. We would thoroughly recommend Skiline to anyone looking for a quality skiing experience.

Fantastic!

This was one of the best trips that I have been on in the 11 years of skiing.
The only reason that I never scored the trip as 5 stars, was because they ran out of beer in one of the bars!

We will definitely be returning next year…….if they can put up with us again!

We just returned from an excellent ski holiday in Club Med Val Thorens. As my partner flew all the way from Malaysia for this holiday. Our expectation is set to very high. Skiline did not disappoint us at all. The entire trip was well organised , Skiline staffs onsite are always courteous and helpful throughout the trip.
Highly recommended.
Will certainly book my next ski holiday from this award winning travel agent!

Amazing ski week ..

Just returned from an amazing week in Val Thorens with Skiline & it was absolutely fantastic. The organisation was smooth as always with Skiline & Club Med & they even managed to pull off fresh powder - nearly in May!!
I have never done an all inclusive before but the food, drinks & entertainment added to a very memorable holiday
