Terrible Customer Service
If you change channel managers be careful of siteminder tactics. That will take away access. fair enough you don't want them anymore. But boy if you need to cancel any bookings that were made to ensure any owed commission is a true reflection watch out. They become very belligerent.
We had thought of returning but after dealing with their rude support team we won't be back.

Our site has been offline for two weeks! Right before high season. It was working, and suddenly poof! Now all visitors just see an error message: Server Not Found:
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)
We have talked with support daily for the past two weeks - all they tell us is that it is a bug and that the senior team is working on it.
Why can't they even show a site down for maintenance page? Or have a contact us page? Nothing. We will need to redirect our domain to our own contact us form that we now need to hire a tech to create and put up. How can they offer hotels a service that goes down right before high season? Don't they have any fail safes? or Redundancies? I suggest you take a very close look at their terms of service and service level contracts before signing on.
What siteminder needs to do, is SERIOUSLY UPDATE their Service Level Agreement so that they take SITE DOWN issues seriously. This means, instead of putting you in the pool if their sales support team, a SENIOR rep needs to CALL you within 24 hours. This was not done, and we kept getting cycled to their sales support, who runs off a script. Therefore we got asked to change dns settings, and wait 72 hours, multiple times, which increased the time for our down time. Had a senior support reached out to us - we could have resolved much faster.
For example, changing DNS settings sure... can take 72 hours to propagate around the web, but in most cases its 15 minutes. So if Siteminder took customer support and SITE DOWN priority seriously, their tech would have tried in 15 minutes at least.
Turns out the issue was that their support team did NOT generate the HTTPS Certificate correctly.
The Senior person identified this immedietly (after waiting 4 weeks of us being down)
Siteminder, can you see the HUGE GAP in your support system?
Please have your senior team REACH OUT in person when these things happen.

almost impossible to make it work, continuous bugs and system crashes, which expose you to frequent overbookings. They are interested in making contracts and invoicing. The support service is ridiculous: the initial internship only serves to get you online as soon as possible, to start getting paid. Then, given the almost unsolvable complications with almost all OTAs, you have to deal with "technicians" who don't even know their system, they take tens of minutes just to access your profile and above all they never solve your problem. What they do well is always postpone, so they can continue to invoice. A kind of scam, which is better to stay away from
