I bought an LG oled TV from simply electricals in the run up to Black Friday. The price at the time was incredibly competitive, the best price I had seen during this, already cut-price, period. The customer service I received throughout the purchase was excellent, with a super-quick response to my email questions and an equally friendly and helpful level of support via the live chat on their web site. They kept in regular contact to let me know about delivery and confirmed on the day a time they would be with us, which was spot on. The delivery driver was friendly and very careful in handling the TV. The item itself is top quality. I would certainly consider using them again as the price, product and service were all top notch.

Pleasure to deal with. Easy to order and staff very accommodating and helpful. Although the washer was found to have damage on unpacking, arrangements were made immediately for a replacement which came within a matter of days. Delivery driver who attended on both occasions installed the washer - he was most helpful, friendly and polite.

We were really impressed by the service and speediness of delivery.
Everything arrived on time, well packaged and handled with care. The driver was extremely polite and professional.
We were provided with an estimated delivery slot and then on the day were called 30 minutes before the delivery was going to arrive just to make sure that we were in - I think the driver would have called earlier but had not been able to get through. He was very pleasant on the phone and I had plenty of time to be ready.

Had never heard of these guys before I ordered from them but the service was second to none. Kept me updated on the status of my delivery and the driver phoned me the morning of to let me know how long he would be. Price was also the cheapest I've seen online, got my new TV for an absolute steal. Will definitely be ordering from simply electricals again :-)

If you do not want any hassle you may want to avoid this company. Since my phone bill says i was making calls around the stated time and my office is above the front door, i cant see how we missed it. But as i told the company, this is turning into a 'he said, she said' issue.
We ordered a washing machine and paid via PayPal. We were told that the delivery is free of charge but that the delivery will take place only on Saturdays, since we live in Scotland. We were waiting the whole day for the delivery. No one appeared and around 4:30 pm after calling them, we were told they could not contact the driver who was from another company. Two hours later we found out that the driver attempted to call us,by dialing 1471, but our telephone did not ring and no message was left on the phone. There was no notification at the door either. When contacted the company wanted £38 to redeliver it or to cancel the order. It's our belief that they never attempted to deliver it in the first place without being paid the delivery charge due to our location. Notice! On their website it was written that the delivery is FREE. They refunded the money but kept £38 for the failed delivery. Be aware that if you don't live locally it appears you may need to pay for the delivery. If there was an option to give them 0 stars, this is what they would get.

Delivery is free to your postcode even though you are 263 miles away from our business. All our vehicles have digital tracking to provide information on every delivery and for the safety of the driver. A copy of this information has been sent to you. If as you say, you were at home then why didn't you answer the door to the driver or see the vehicle outside your home which was parked there for 15 mins.

Many thanks for your email and I’m sorry to hear about you delivery issues.
I can confirm the driver arrived in your area on the evening of Friday 25th October. Deliveries then proceed from approx 7am in the morning to allow him to make all the required drop offs and be back to his depot within his normal working hours.
We can see via the tracker and speaking to the driver he arrived at your property at 9:30am and couldn’t get a reply from your address. The driver proceeded to contact you on the landline provided without success of speaking to anyone. Unfortunately no alternative number had been provided on your order. At 9:46am, again without any reply from the door he left to continue onto his other deliveries.
At 4:30pm we received a call into the office and was then provided with your mobile number which unfortunately was too late for the driver to return. The £38 charge is the return carriage back to our warehouse in Bolton, Lancashire, which is 50% of the return carriage we incur. I’m sorry I cannot be of further assistance in this matter. As a small family company we believe our service is fair and comparable to large establishments. If we absorbed all additional costs we wouldn’t be in business to serve the customers we have over the many years.

With all the bad press you seem to be getting online, which we only checked this evening, I would think that as a family business, you would prefer not to collect any more. As a PayPal client it would also be poor trading practice to upset them.
I would prefer to sort this amicably rather than go down the route of adding to your bad press and getting PayPal involved. (We have liaised with Paypal already)

Generally pretty good if you are happy to muck in
Good price, pretty quick delivery and also given time window for delivery on the day. Slight downside was that delivery driver did not know how to use stacking kit, and also that it was a solo driver and therefore quite dependent on the purchaser to help with heavy lifting if required. Had I been old and frail, I’m not sure how this would have worked, given that i wanted the tumble dryer stacked on the washing machine.
But driver was friendly and with a bit of research, we got there in the end

Got there in the end....
We had quite a few technical problems setting up this soundbar and getting the sound in sync with the tv etc. It is not a simple case of plug and play and we almost gave up. However Simply Electricals were first rate in providing telephone advice and put a lot of effort into helping us sort it out.
