Great customer service

Great customer service.
My great nanna’s phone line was cut off by open reach without any warning. Simpletelecom did everything they could to help get her a new phone as quickly as possible.

no tech support, ignored

customer service very bad,you have to talk to call center who send email to right department and then no one bothers to get in touch, three times now i have tried to talk to tech support to be ignored, on going problem changing landline...would not recommend.

Reply... thank you for your quick reply, pity no one replied to me, I was first contact and I wanted information that could have saved alot of trouble.

NEW SYSTEM WITH BIG PROBLEMS

Unfortunately, my brother has problems after porting over landline number to new Home2phone system. After trying everything, still no further forward with Simple Telecoms who admit they do not know why phone calls are dropping out after a certain length of time and 3 or 4 sec delays in conversation and they say they have other customers with SAME problem. VERY FRUSTRATING. and expensive mistake overall so far. STILL WAITING FOR MORE RESPONSE FROM COMPANY AS TO WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO DO. IF ANYTHING

We can see that we have been investigating this matter for you and have responded to all of your emails.

The system operates on the EE mobile network, in the same way as a standard mobile phone, over which we have no control. As we currently have thousands of units in the field all working correctly, we can only assume that this may be a local EE cell site issue. As outlined on our website and in the full quotation provided prior to purchase, this is a mobile-based service and, as such, can be subject to the same types of issues that may occasionally affect mobile networks.

We have escalated this matter to the underlying mobile network provider for further investigation. We can see that calls appear to be dropping at around the 30-minute mark, which is not something within our control. Please note that their investigation may take some time while they carry out the necessary checks.

We have previously experienced problems with BT4600 handsets and others. As a result, we now only supply the system with a fully digital compatible handset and no longer sell the router on its own. This change was made because non-digital or incompatible handsets, as well as answering machines, often caused issues that led customers to believe the router or service was faulty.

Excellent Service

I got involved with Simple Telecoms some years ago when fed up with my mum constantly getting asked about broadband. She just wanted a phone. I called, someone answered. I spoke to Tony who I think is one of those in charge and honestly it's like you are their only customer when you speak.
My mum moved home from London to Berkshire and was thrilled to take her age old number with her due to the digital set up. It was all set up perfectly and she had only one small issue which was sorted with one quickly answered phone call.
She has moved home recently, just one floor below but needed the digital set up and honestly when you call it's first names, they have your name in the diary and are aware it's going through on the day. It's like an old school company with personal service, from people who really care but for modern technology. If it hadn't been for ST I wouldn't have known anything about the whole copper-based line switchover to digital because I'd seen nothing on the news! And amazingly, you don't get hit with a request for a review seconds after the job is done. It's sorted and no call back is review enough for them. But here is one anyway! Excellent company!

Excellent service

Excellent service. Getting a landline back for my dad who is 85 and sky holding him to ransom wanting £75 per month for phone and basic broadband.
I looked up Simple Telecom and within a few days they had my dad set up. Retrieved his home phone number from sky and are massively cheaper with 100% better service. Phone calls and updates often. Very highly recommend.

Excellent plain English friendly customer service!

After weeks of speaking to India about a faulty BT line and getting nowhere, out of desperation we googled other phone companies, which then turned into a search for phone companies who care for the elderly. As a result my dad has now made friends with the staff at Simple Communications, they answer the phone quickly and speak to him in plain English in a friendly helpful manner. Their bills are also going to save my dad a fortune. We would highly recommend.
