Buyers BEWARE - What You See Is NOT What You Get..........

I ordered a Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T1C with Keyboard (Intel Core i5 1.7GHz Processor, 4GB RAM), 128GB SSD for £1049.99 advertised by Shop4USB via Amazon on May 8th 2013. The laptop arrived without the keyboard (as advertised) after many telephone calls, “people in meetings”, promises to telephone me back. I eventually spoke to someone in customer service . They questioned the veracity of my claim but eventually conceded that Amazon had probably packed it incorrectly and asked if the package had been tampered with, which it had not. They finally agreed to send a keyboard separately.
I booked an IT consultant, to help me load software and transfer my data from my old PC. Whilst he was doing this (1.5 hours later), the consultant discovered that the Samsung ONLY had 64 GB not 128 GB as ordered and paid for.
I phoned for over an hour on 01173 180696 (allegedly their “customer service land-line”) there was no answer after repeated attempts. Eventually, a man, who said he was from the warehouse and could not help me, answered the phone. He said someone who could help me was “in a meeting” and he would phone me back. After much persuasion, the warehouse man did connect me to "someone who could help me”. I explained the problem and how dissatisfied I was with this company’s misrepresentation of the item that was advertised. He claimed that, although there had been a few complaints, Shop4USB was really a highly reputable company. He understood that I had had an abortive 2 hours of IT consultancy and assured me that, “how, and the speed that they dealt with customer complaints was a reflection of how well they handled the resolution of any problems!”
Today, May 24th, despite the fact that I had an email confirming their redelivery of the correct order, they have now stated that they cannot supply the product as they only sell the 64gb Samsung. I wonder how many other Amazon customers have been misled? Had I not had the IT consultant, I doubt if I would have known myself of this fundamental error.
Needless to say, SHOP4USB has now reneged on their “total commitment to customer service” and claims they never agreed to reimburse me for the waste of money. SHOP4USB has now telephoned me to say that despite the fact the two items, 64 GB tablet & keyboard was sent back yesterday. They said they had not received both items (although their own couriers collected them) & would not credit me until both had been received!
After threatening them with my intention to pursue this misrepresentation of the goods advertised through the small claims court, I was reassured by Amazon's highly efficient customer service & was in fact reimbursed in full by Amazon. I suppose I can whistle for any reimbursement of the wasted IT fee? SHOP4USB has subsequently telephoned me to explain that "none of this was their fault" and the problem arose from an incorrect Barcode from Amazon. I received a FREE GIFT of some touch pens (Cost £2.95) last week to compensate me for my problems. I have subsequently found the same Samsung (64GB) at Selfridges for £949, I would have saved myself £100.99 (£98.04 if you discount the cost of the FREE GIFT), and a great deal of aggravation.

Terrible

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. They sent me the wrong item, I had to return it to get the right one, I got stuck with the bill for shipping and they refused to refund it. I also had to pay custom taxes twice because of their mistake and they again refused to refund. They promised to give me a voucher to use in their shop instead, but I never got it, so all they do is lie, they use a long time to reply and they are very arrogant and not helpful at all.

I ended up paying twice as much for the item because of this. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

Useless

Customer service is atrocious with shop4usb - and I find the glowing reviews below suspicious - especially Tanya's - is that you Tanya Smith, at shop4usb?

I caution you to think twice before sending them your money - check out the site I made for them: do-not-shop4usb.co.uk - it collates quite a few customer complaints together in one place.

Cheeky business. Unacceptable behaviour. Don't buy

I purchased a keyboard and mouse from them via amazon. A few days later they sent me a poorly written message saying something about mis-communication with amazon and that the item is in fact out of stock. They also said they could not find a similar product so had to cancel.

When I checked on amazon again, Shop4Usb has simply increased the price on the item.

Poor

I received the wrong item and returned it as per their returns procedure. When I later asked for the correct item to be supplied, my order was cancelled without notice or the opportunity to choose an alternative item. I expect to be compensated for my return postage but I shan't hold my breath...
