Exploitative and unprofessional

Exploitative and unprofessional - avoid working with ShareNotes

I strongly advise other students and freelancers not to work with ShareNotes. I contributed original academic content to the site between September 2024 and June 2025 and was paid for the first few months - but never received payment for April, May, or June, despite fulfilling all my responsibilities.

I emailed the founder(s) multiple times over several months with no reply. My emails were ignored even after I formally withdrew from the agreement and requested that my work be removed from the site - as allowed in their own contract.

This kind of behaviour is deeply unprofessional, unethical, and exploitative. ShareNotes is benefiting from student creators' unpaid work, and it's clear they don’t take their obligations seriously.

If you’re a student, creator, or freelancer - avoid getting involved.

Useful for revision

As a tutor I often recommend my students purchase these resources if they haven't made a strong set of notes. All have found them very useful.
